Erik was very accessible, kept us informed of issues, was responsive when we had questions. And the house itself was very comfortable. Only a minor issue with the smoke alarm going off when using the oven (due to build up from previous users). This is easily remedied by checking and cleaning the oven when guests leave.

We usually stay in the area for our yearly Shenandoah park hiking trip and have stayed at many rentals in the area but this cottage was so much better than any other stay. The decor was beautiful, beds were very comfortable and indoor fireplace made for a great cozy game night. We roasted marshmallows over the outdoor fire pit and my son played in the creek that runs through the property. The hosts were very responsive and answered all our questions before the trip. We will definitely be back! Thank you for the memories! All was great!
