I was here on business but the room itself was quite beautiful and could have easily made for a romantic getaway. The hotel staff was warm and friendly, and the location in the old town is great and I could walk everywhere. I would definitely come back here!

For my early flight I had to drag it down on the narrow stairwell myself. Also it was a little dark outside in front of the hotel. Otherwise, it’s conveniently located and has an easy self check-in after 5pm👌

- Shadd (2/5): Badly overrated - The rating of this hotel is insanely high. The front desk closes at 5 pm. That means when the room is sweltering hot as this one was there is no one to ask for a fan.

- Philippa (10/5): Excellent Tallinn accommodation - Great location and view from the bedroom window. Key code to get in on arrival was a bit of a challenge but they are into codes in Estonia. Concierge only 8 - 5 so there’s no one to ask about anything if you arrive after 5 as we did. There is a small kitchen and sitting out area where you can make your own tea and coffee but nothing in the rooms. Breakfast was simple but good.

The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but it was acceptable for a one-night stay. Unfortunately, there were dirty dishes left in the room when we arrived, and the toilet didn’t flush properly. Sound insulation was quite poor – we could hear other guests during the night. On the positive side, the shared balcony was a nice feature, and the location was excellent. Breakfast was basic but ok.

Bedroom was adequate and clean, and good value for the price. Not a fan of staff absence between 5pm and 8am, when systems went on automatic, but some may prefer that arrangement. However, I would recommend the Taanilinna Hotell and would have rated it 4.5 stars if the scoring system allowed that option.

El personal de recepción fue muy amable y atento con nosotros, y además son pet-friendly, lo cual fue un gran plus. Las habitaciones son amplias y te dan la sensación de estar en un pequeño palacete, lo que hace la estancia aún más especial. En la segunda planta cuentan con una pequeña cocina a disposición de los huéspedes, ideal para preparar un café o un té en cualquier momento. ¡Muy recomendable!

I checked in a little early and got a late check out for a very reasonable price. Great temperature control of the room with a view over the courtyard. Great value for the cost.

- Miki (10/5): - ヘルシンキからフェリーで渡って夜に着き，歴史街で夕食を食べ，翌朝2時間徒歩で観光して昼にフェリーでヘルシンキに戻ったが十分に楽しめた．エコノミー仕様の部屋に泊まったので部屋内の通路は狭いが，設備は必要十分で価格も抑えられて良い． 観光地に近いので歩いて周れることもポイントが高い． フェリー港からはタクシー(BoltやUberなどの配車アプリを入れておくこと！)で約3ユーロと安く，前情報では歩けそうな距離だと思ったが現地で見た感じ大体どこでも歩く私でも歩くのを躊躇する距離だったので，素直に往復タクシーをお勧めする． 朝食の時にコーヒーの淹れ方を教えてくれたり，フロントの人がよく話してくれて感じが良かった．

Which it is; some of the furnishings are undoubtedly 100 or more years old. Including the mattresses. After one night I was in pain; the second I tried the pull out sofa. It was no better. So a 95/100 for that.

This includes no lift, however a member of staff carried my case up the stairs. Love the kitchen/seating area on the 2nd floor. (Has microwave and tea and coffee making facilities). Sadly the temperature wasn't right for sitting out on the balcony. Clean, Tidy and full of character..
- hani (10/5): lovely rustic hotel in Tallinn - great location - in Tallinn Old Town. everything is within short walking distance. the single room and attached bathroom were quite spacious. the hotel has no lift but there's help with my luggage. the small kitchen just outside my room was very convenient and very well equipped. i was able to prepare simple meals and hot drinks there. the hotel is really beautiful. looks like it has a lot of history, with rustic interior. the lady at the reception, Maria, was very very nice, helpful, warm, friendly and gave great tips on where to go for sights. i enjoyed my stay in Tallinn very much and will definitely stay here again.
- Yumi (6/5): - お部屋は綺麗でした。また、ロケーションも観光に便利でよかったです。しかし、フロントが午後5時で帰ってしまうこと、エレベーターがないこと、バッゲージの上げ下ろしを頼む人がいないこと、お風呂や洗面台の水がチョロチョロとしかでないこと、など残念な点が多々ありました。
- Yumi (6/5): - お部屋は写真通りで素敵でした。立地も最高です。スタッフがいるときは、普通の対応でした。 しかし、フロントは午後5時までしかいません。私が7時半に着く予定だと連絡すると、ドアの暗証番号を教えてくれました。連泊しましたが、部屋の掃除はありません。トランクも自分で2階まで、あげたり、おろしたり、しました。エレベーターはありません。ホテルでなく、B &Bだと思えば、良いお宿かもしれません。

- Malgorzata (10/5): 5 star stay - Great location, 5 min to town square and 5 min to supermarket, very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, room clean and comfortable, there is a small kitchenette available for guest, where you can make tea/coffee and warm up food in a microwave, we would definitely stay again
- Karin (10/5): Positiv överraskning - Helt och rent. Centralt beläget. Trevlig personal. Skulle definitivt välja detta hotell igen.
- Ana (10/5): - Such a charming place to stay. Really makes you feel like the you’re completely in the heart of the old city without sacrificing any modern benefits. Except for an elevator, this place has it all. :)
