Guest Reviews
- Jenny H (9/5): Lovely house in a gorgeous garden setting - Lovely house with plenty of room, and views over the surrounding garden and lake. The verandah and living space was fantastic. There were 3 good size bedrooms that fitted our family perfectly. A well appointed kitchen meant we could have breakfast at home. There is only one bathroom and toilet, so for 5 people, this would be challenging if we were staying for longer.
- Gary (9/5): A wonderful, restful stay. - It was a beautiful property with a verandah around the whole house to help you admire the views. The tree-lined dam was a real highlight.
- Rob (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (7/5): Good - Very Hot in rooms with no aircon
- Rosalind (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robyn (9/5): Just beautiful. Could have easily stayed another week. Owner and property mgr were just lovely too -
- Pola (8/5): Peaceful cottage with stunning views - Stunning view; quiet and peaceful; close to hiking trails and a couple of small wineries; clean; spacious; great terrace; a collection of dvds and some board games were a nice surprise! Hot water in the shower smelled a bit
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
- Paula (8/5): Lovely relaxing weekend in a great location. Thanks - Great location and very comfortable. Host was very helpful the evening we arrived as we couldn’t find the cottage. ( it was very dark) The first evening was very warm and only had one fan. Everything else was great.
- Erin (9/5): Perfect weekend getaway. - Gorgeous cottage, beautiful surroundings. The water cut out but the host was able to direct us how to fix it quickly.
- Nur (8/5): Very good - The house beautiful , cozy , homely ; perfect for quiet getaway in the countryside , loved the woodfire place
- Anonymous (7/5): Good - It's a cosy cottage with open fire place, a full kitchen, beds with electric blankets, bath tub and shower. The location is very pretty, there is a dam and a small creek nearby. The hosts are friendly. There was no wi fi, new toiletries and the water was turned off at 10 am when checkout was 11 am.
- Stephanie (7/5): Nice but very overpriced - Pretty location and very quiet. The house was comfortable, although dated. We liked the wood fire and would have really appreciated this being lit or the heater turned on before we arrived as the house was very cold.
Beds and pillows were comfy, and the towels were big.
Hot water was great with good pressure. There was no hair dryer and only conditioner with no shampoo. The conditioner may have been left by a previous guest.
We were unable to get 7 plus, and we were very disappointed at not being able to watch an important women's soccer game that was only broadcast on this channel.
The twin room did not have bedside tables and reading lamps.
One dining room chair was very rickety and wobbled when it was sat on.
I had to reach under the bed to find the power point so that I could charge my phone.
Only days after staying, did I receive the check-in information, and then it came repeatedly. At least 10 times. Fortunately, the owner rang, and I was able to get the code for the locked box from her.
