Guest Reviews
- Heinz (10/5): Tolle Unterkunft mit Peronal das jeden Wunsch erfüllt. - Sehr herzliches Personal
- LIBERATO (10/5): Stupendo - Soggiorno fantastico. Bellissima bellissima e molto curata. Colazione e cena ottima. Personale adorabile.
Ambienti ben puliti.
- Mariarita (10/5): -
- Pierluigi Vaglio (10/5): 10/10 - Soggiorno breve ma perfetto. Esperienza fantastica, struttura curata e staff gentilissimo. Tornerò sicuramente!
- Irene Sofia (7/5): Nice location to explore Gallipoli - Beautiful pool, excellent breakfast , nice location to explore Gallipoli and environs. We stayed at the trullo. The room was small and stuffy and there were lights in the tock niches that could not be turned off, making the room too bright for a proper night sleep. The food and drinks offerings were quite limited at pool during the day.
- Jacob (8/5): -
- Greenacre (10/5): - Great location. Lovely property and amazing staff.. we were lucky to have the whole place to ourselves and had a very peaceful and restful stay..
- Georgia (10/5): Incredible! - The staff were so wonderfully welcoming, the venue was incredible, relaxing, beautiful. Would highly recommend. Google maps takes you to the back entrance, not the front :)
- Sarah (10/5): Luxurious and peaceful oasis near Gallipoli - Super peaceful oasis just outside of Gallipoli. Fabulous pool area, with impressive outdoor gym and yoga platform. The staff were so attentive and helpful, notably Joanna at reception, Alessio in the bar & restaurant and Mario the chef! We had a delicious meal the night we stayed. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful when my husband needed to alter the handlebars on his bike before we left. Just a shame the weather wasn’t great so it meant we didn’t make the most of the lovely facilities😞
- Sharon (10/5): Blissful - Beautiful pool and dining area. The staff is very friendly and impressed us with nice cocktails by the pool, a delicious breakfast assortment, and a late night exploration of the wines in hand. We found a very very nice Barolo with the help of their late night attendant. All great fun and our room had the best linens and a comfy mattress too. I wish we’d stayed longer!

- Cecily (7/5): Nice stay, but expensive for what you get - We enjoyed the room and pool area. It’s an extremely relaxing and peaceful environment. The food was not amazing, we often left to eat outside the property after eating in the restaurant a couple of times. The downside to the hotel was its remote location. A car is essential.
- Philippe (7/5): Nice but overpriced - Modern, new, well decorated, secluded yet not too far from Gallipoli (provided you have a car). Nice staff. To be fair, the price is too high for what you get, even during high season. Yes, you get a nice, spacious room. Yes, there’s a swimming pool. But that’s about it.
- James (10/5): Perfect stay in Galipoli - Staff were super welcoming, the room and pool were incredible. We stayed in the Truli room which was so unique. Breakfast was brilliant, they even have an outdoor gym and yoga platform which is a perfect way to start the day. Would love to come back! Nothing, all perfect
- Emily (8/5): Calm oasis in busy city - Really nice interior design, good breakfast, nice pool, quiet and calm.
- Andrea (8/5): -

- Sverrir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (10/5): We had a truly relaxing stay. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were amazing. - A beautiful hotel, exquisitely decorated, situated in idyllic surroundings.
- Thiago (10/5): Fantastic - We had a really good experience. The hotel has high standards for quality, the materials used, service, hospitality and structure. The ingredients used in the kitchen are fresh and taken from the property garden.
The staff is amazing and very friendly. Special highlight to the way all of them treated my 16 months old kid, very attentive and kind during all our stay.
The pool area is beautiful. Just a small recommendation is to consider having a heating system in the pool, so it will enhance even more the already great facilities available, specially during some not so hot seasons.
We strongly recommend the hotel and we hope to come back soon. Nothing.
- Hicks (10/5): Exceptional - staff and food were amazing
- Kenneth (10/5): Beautiful hotel with unique suites, amazing grounds, pool and impeccable service - Amazing grounds, luxurious, beautiful pool, peaceful countryside location. Staff so hospitable, dinner was amazing… Nothing
- Corbett (10/5): It was a magical experience from the moment we arrived until we left. - Breakfast was spectacular so much choice.
Dinner and wine was sensational and so much choice and perfectly cooked.
- Andrew (10/5): We were made to feel very welcome by Martina and Vlad. Mario is an unrivalled chef who produced some of the best local f - The property is stunning. a real oasis that has been cleverly designed to the highest standards. The rooms are stunning and the shared area like a very upmarket home. The gardens and planting are a delight, the pool is amazing with water cascading down an old rock face. Leaving.
- Daniel (7/5): Good - The property is beautifully finished, the pool area is relaxing & the breakfast was very nice. Unfortunately I felt it missed the mark. On two occasions we had to search for pool towels and waited 15 minutes for a towel. The service was hit or miss. Our room had a sewage smell to it which wasn’t pleasant and we didn’t receive fresh room towels on one occasion. At over €550 a night I expected more compared to other hotels & masserias I have stayed in Puglia. The facilities were also limited, I thought it was a tad cheeky to charge for yoga. Instagram sells this place as a wellness retreat but in fact everything is ‘you want you pay’ it is a shame as the hotel & grounds are beautiful just feel it wasn’t worth the money. Other hotels within this price point offer yoga & have better gym facilities.
- Alina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mirta (7/5): Beautiful property but service and pricing issues - The pool and the gardens are stunning. Our private terrace with a hammock was spacious and relaxing. Overall this hotel offers a peaceful, nature-immersed experience.
Some of the products are of high-quality, such as the welcome treat and the soaps. The bedroom, bathroom, and bed are quite small, especially considering the cost, but they are stylishly decorated. The real disappointment is the inconsistent service, which falls short of what you would expect from a 4-star hotel at this price.
Despite agreeing on a fee for the airport transfer days in advance, we were informed of a 20% increase for a "night fee" only after we landed. The hotel did not respond to our messages and never apologised for the unilateral change of terms or the unpleasant situation they put us in upon arrival in Puglia. Even when we raised this again the next morning.
An apology was also absent when we were locked outside the hotel in the dark for five minutes (unable to buzz ourselves in since guests are not given a key for the main gate), and when we discovered the restaurant was closed for dinner one night without any prior notice, despite the menu and opening hours being advertised near the breakfast buffet.
Additionally, they often overcharge. For example, a glass of wine at lunch costs 12 euros, which is more than what we paid for a glass of wine at a fine-dining Michelin restaurant in the same area. They even charged €2 to add a few thin slices of pepper to a small sandwich.
- Ruta (6/5): Poor value for money with nice ambience - The location, style and cozyness It claims, that it is customer centric, but it is not, the staff was not attentive and professional, the only staff member - Federica is worth promotion.
- Deborah (10/5): A true paradise - Everything! Nothing
- Myerson (10/5): Exceptional - This property is beautiful. All the facilities were top notch, the staff was above and beyond friendly, and made every effort to make us as comfortable as possible. Great location to explore the southern half of Puglia. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. Nothing
- Joshua (10/5): Tenuta Negroamaro was the best hotel experience I have ever enjoyed. - My wife and I had the most magical experience at Tenuta Negroamaro. We came for our honeymoon and could not have imagined a hotel/masseria elevating our experience as much as this one did. The beauty, the comfort, and the details are all incredible but what made the experience truly special was the level of care the staff paid to its guests. A special shoutout to manager Joanne who made us feel like family and ensured that we enjoyed the Salento region like we were locals. If you come to Salento, Tenuta Negroamaro is the only place to stay. Everything was dreamlike. There were no negatives.
- Ingela (10/5): Amazing staff, guests & location 👌 -
- Elke (9/5): Idyllic Pugkian Getaway - This was such a great experience. We spent two days relaxing at this stylish, charming, peaceful place, sipping cocktails by the pool, eating the most delicious food.
The buildings and surrounds are truly gorgeous but it is the amazing team that work here that make it really special. We will be back!
- Matthew (10/5): Wish we could have stayed forever - Very clean and beautiful grounds. Not many rooms so it feels very private. The pool area is excellent. The staff go above and beyond to help you with anything you need, whether it be restaurant bookings, excursions, transfers to the airport etc
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Iva (9/5): Superb - Great setting in the countryside, easy access to walking trails, beautiful garden, very clean
Lovely rooms with private patios
- Nina (9/5): Lovely holiday stay - Very stylisch and sophisticated
Great atmosphere at pool
Nice staff
Nice tips what to do in the area- especially dinner in palazzo tafuri was great and visit of Togo beach - wonderful sea there
Gallipoli we did not like it has very few nice restaurants and seems very touristy Beds were 160/200 , nothing if you are a bit taller or bigger
Our pool room was somewhat small and not very private , since it was at the main walk to lobby / eating area
Would appreciate more a la carte choices at breakfast
BBQ evening was not great
Please buy a good and comfy massage seat for the massages and provide a bit more privacy in the massage “container”
- Nathalie (10/5): A serene Puglian oasis with exceptional hospitality and cuisine - Tenuta NegroAmaro is a true oasis of tranquility nestled among the stunning landscapes of Puglia. This beautifully hotel offers an authentic taste of the region with its warm atmosphere and exceptional hospitality.
The wonderful staff goes above and beyond to ensure an unforgettable stay, providing invaluable local insights and recommendations. The cuisine is a highlight, showcasing fresh local ingredients and traditional Puglian flavors in every delectable dish.
The serene outdoor pool provides the perfect spot to unwind. Tenuta NegroAmaro captures the true essence of Puglia's charm through its warm hospitality, mouthwatering food, and breathtaking natural surroundings. An absolute gem that leaves you with cherished memories.
- Anna (10/5): We visited in mid-May and was astonished by this amazing place. From checking in and throughout the whole stay we felt s - The friendly atmosphere, the lovely garden and facilities, and the staff was amazing!!
- Blake (10/5): An unparalleled, luxurious escape into nature's embrace - I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tenuta Negroamaro in Puglia, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a meticulously crafted atmosphere of organic chic and serene luxury. The blend of local-inspired materials and thoughtful design immediately made us feel connected to the natural beauty of the region.
Our stay in the pool suite was an unforgettable experience. Waking up each morning and stepping directly into our private pool was a true highlight. The suite was beautifully appointed with organic fibers and calming scents, fostering a deep sense of relaxation and connection to nature.
The grounds of Tenuta Negroamaro are a stunning blend of wild red-soil gardens filled with cacti and olives, perfectly balanced by the cool, refined interiors. It’s a place where moments of stillness and tranquility are punctuated by delightful wanderings to the pool or the kitchen, where farm-grown food delights the palate. Every meal was a testament to the rich, slow sunshine living of Puglia, with fresh ingredients that truly nourished both body and soul.
The attention to detail in both design and experience was evident everywhere we looked. Each space within the hotel felt thoughtfully considered, creating a harmonious environment ideal for a retreat from the bustle of everyday life.
The staff were exceptionally attentive, ensuring our stay was comfortable and memorable.Customer experience is clearly at the heart of Tenuta Negramaro’s philosophy. The team behind Tenuta Negroamaro has truly outdone itself, creating spaces that reflect a deeper understanding of the guests’ needs. It’s a sanctuary that invites you to slow down and savor every moment, offering a rare blend of luxury and authenticity.
I cannot recommend Tenuta Negroamaro highly enough. It’s a place where nature and luxury coexist in perfect harmony, offering a unique and enriching experience. If you’re looking for an escape that reconnects you to a more n
- Kiara (10/5): Exceptional - We absolutely loved our stay at Tenuta. The staff were wonderful and attentive. The facilities were fantastic with beautiful grounds and a gorgeous pool area and terrace. We also had massages which were fantastic. Design was gorgeous and detailed it was fantastic.
- Paula (9/5): Excellent stay, would recommend and will return - Really relaxing environment with great hospitality. We had an amazing stay, the breakfast is very good. The pool area amazing and when we ate there in the evening it was very good. Location is great, very close to Gallipoli and surrounding area. We will return and would highly recommend.
- Jan (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (10/5): Great base to explore the area - Beautiful garden and pool
- Robert (10/5): Boutique 5 star Oasis experience in rural Gallipoli - It was like we had arrived at a little oasis with palm trees and succulents scattered throughout the property. Small boutique venue of maybe 12 rooms. Barely saw any guests during our stay in September. Beautiful estate, architecturally spot on for a Tenuta experience, pool and boutique bar adjoining was very photogenic and pleasant.
Staff were always on hand and were extremely eager to converse and share their thoughts in a casual friendly manner. On site chef bakes pastries daily from scratch, RARE find.
Definitely recommend but you need your own transport to explore the area.
- Frank (10/5): Bella! Bella! - The beauty of Tenuta Negroamaro was only surpassed by the excellence of the wonderful staff. Joanne was the epitome of great service from the moment we arrived, through our entire stay. She was always there for us, with her amazing, caring ways. Just like family. ! The staff, especially, Danielle, Martina and Carlo were also exceptional . It was an absolutely great visit. It was difficult leaving after our 3 night stay ! Regina and Frank
- Nadia (10/5): Extraordinary hotel grounds with beautiful garden and lovely staff. -
- Margaux (10/5): outstanding🤩🤩🤩 - We loved our stay there, this place is outstanding, you can see the quality of furniture and the beautiful interior and exterior design, big plus for the fluffy deckchairs by the pool and the welcome drink with a cocktail, good relaxing music, super secure place, privacy of the rooms, calm and amazing breakfast with km zero food.
staff members are so kind, nice and warm, they gave us super good recommendations for restaurants and beaches.
the room and especially the bathroom were beautiful, this place is a treasure! it was perfect, if I really have to say something it would only be for the room numero 1, around 2am I think the sprinkler automatically switched on for some minutes and we could hear it. but honestly I fell asleep easily after. but maybe move this thing a bit more far away from the room to have the perfect stay 😁
- Anna (9/5): Lush Oasis - Beautiful, cozy and elegant hotel. Excellent taste. Warm staff and great front desk help and assistance, always available to help with whatever by WhatsApp - very seamless and client focused. Good restaurant for dinner and lovely breakfast. The balance of terrace to room size is a bit strange - very large and attractive private terraces attached to the suites, but the suites themselves are small. Our room didn’t really have a closet - just a place to hang up our things, fully in the open, and maybe one small shelf… so if you have two adults with two suitcases, it gets complex.
This may have just been our room, and we didn’t mind too much because we were out for most of the day, but was just a bit off compared to the rest of the hotel.
- Camille (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gloria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clément (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lachlan (10/5): If you are visiting the area, this is the hotel to stay at. - The property was a boutique hotel, you felt like a VIP from the moment you checked in!
The room was beautiful, we even had our own outside courtyard & plunge pool!
The staff would constantly go above and beyond to improve your experience. From recommendations on what beach to visit to just helping with general questions, nothing was ever an issue. Was really hard to fault this hotel, the only thing We didn’t like that you needed to buzz the front gate to get in & would be more convenient with your hotel room key if this could open the gate.
- Veronica (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect 👍🏽 It’s not the property itself but in the evening be wary of mosquitos
- Sebastian (10/5): Incredible property set in relaxing countryside. - Incredibly peaceful estate only 5-10 minutes from Gallipoli. The staff are incredible - welcoming, polite and always happy to provide suggestions if you ask. Combine all that with the beautiful setting, rooms, service and food and you have a perfect place to relax.
- Gloria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Fabulous. - Stunning facilities and rooms. Fantastic staff Nothing major but breakfast choice could be better.
- Maya (10/5): relaxing, welcoming, and luxurious - the property was absolutely stunning. the staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area. room was beautiful and clean. cannot recommend this hotel enough.
- Ovidiu (9/5): Superb - Lovely minimalistic design. Very cosy place. Close to Gallipoli and beaches. Secluded. Food need improvement.
- Boomershine (10/5): Exceptional - Food could be improved
- Marco_cde (10/5): Nice and new Tenuta close to Gallipoli - Very nice and new - less than a year - premises. Rooms are nicely decorated. Comfy bed. Staff were super friendly and always available and ready to provide you with hints and tips about the hotel, local food and the surrounding areas and attractions. Good breakfast, specially if you take it on the veranda, facing the swimming pool and the nice garden. Dinning at the hotel was also a very good experience, compliments to the chef and team!
- Claire (9/5): Limited dinner menu, dinner food quality not matching price point, breakfast is excellent! - Hard pillows
- Layarua (10/5): Amazing, modern, authentic hotel - The hotel is really nicely done. The location is close to the center (Gallipoli) and to the sea. The food was amazing and the staff as well. We would definitely go again. There was nothing we didn't like.
- Ilaria (9/5): A corner of paradise in Salento - It’s a piece of paradise on earth. The rooms are very beautiful, with a private courtyard where to relax in the sun or in the shade on swings and comfortable sofas. The garden is the perfect representation of the Mediterranean bush, from where you can gaze at the sea, that is just 10 minutes far away by car. The “living area” - as the staff calls it - is curated in its tiniest details but with simplicity and harmony. There, it’s possible to have both breakfast and dinner, which slightly change everyday, offering a variety of local products. We could not use the swimming pool because we were out of season, but it looked big and very inviting. Nothing, really.
- Jean (10/5): we spent 3 nights… but we should have stayed 1 week… it was si nice. - lovely place, well designed, extremely clean, people are even nicer… 😀😀😀😀
- Carl (10/5): Exceptional - beautiful property amazing staff address/directions not correct in Bookings. staff has promised to correct
- Daria (10/5): Exceptional - My boyfriend and I stayed out of season, an we enjoyed it to the fullest. We were welcomed and treated very kind and warm hearted. Planning to come back in the summer.
- Hannes (10/5): Very nice and big Finca with very friendly people. - The Staff was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic and the dinner as well.
- Frederic (9/5): great people great place, will recommend for sure - staff and setting was perfect nothing
- אורי (10/5): We will be back - The hotel is amazing feels like sleeping in a boutique vineyard.
The crew is super nice and friendly, and the breakfast was the best breakfast ever. Super recommended
- Laurien (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paolo (10/5): Excellent from any stanpoint - The structure is brand new. Very nice. Extremely clean and well kept. Breakfast is very good. Staff very kind, helpful and reliable One minor thing: the car parking should have a roof to protect from the sun. I was told it will be done
- Gio (10/5): A true hidden gem in Salento - Beautifully designed interiors, peaceful rooms, great food and above all amazing service. Closer to a private villa than a luxury hotel. It feels top-end, but with a personal touch that genuinely sets it apart from the rest. The whole staff was fantastic but Joanne’s warmth, courtesy, and flawless professionalism were the cherry on the cake. This will be our top choice in Salento. The hotel still feels like a work in progress at times (it’s only been open for a month!), but that’s part of the charm.
- Gio (10/5): Beautiful premises and genuine hospitality - Our second stay was just as great as the first.
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Floris (7/5): nice newly opened resort which issues - Overall a nice newly opened resort with modern facilities combined with a nice style.
The rooms are big and have all wanted amenities.
Pool area is very nice! Staff is very friendly but not trained very well.
We where searching for something special but it is more like a typical hotel vibe that can be found anywhere.
Restaurant ist not recommend. Prices are overpriced for Puglia (2x cocktails + 1x cake = €45) and the quality and atmosphere is also not what you get in some local restaurants.
Conclusion: if you are willing to spent €400 a night, you can get better options in Puglia.
- Ali (10/5): absolutely perfect! - newly renovated gorgeous place. we enjoyed every minute of it. nothing!
- Lorena (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel is brand new and decorated with an existe taste! The staff was super nice. Since they just open in July they were having some logistic problems, I.e one day they took a lot of time to serve breakfast, but we complain and the service was excellent from that day!
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional - This hotel is fabulous. The staff are wonderful, so helpful and really know the local area. The communal areas of the hotel and beautifully designed. The hotel is in a very quiet setting but an easy drive to busier areas, with lots of options for beaches and restaurants. Our room was really comfortable and the outside area was stunning, with areas to relax and a private pool. Would definitely recommend.
