• Andrew (9/5): Nice property. - Clean and well provisioned for our stay. The property is a walk to center of town and while a bit uphill from the town not a problem for those in walking form.

The property is spotlessly clean, well equipped and very well located within easy reach of the town and other attractions. The owners were so welcoming and friendly, leaving some essential items for our stay and stayed in touch with excellent recommendations. The home was beautifully maintained and the little details (like fresh fruit provided and fresh flowers on the table) made it very welcoming. • Nancy (10/5): We loved our stay, host offered SO MUCH info about the area, food recs, best stocked vacation rental - Sparkling clean house, very well stocked (produce, bread, butter, milks, coffee, tea), instructions were clear. Location was great. Very little to not like. The ONLY feedback from our group was to add a small table / stool in bathrooms for clothes/ toiletries.
• Anna (10/5): - If you're looking for a holiday rental in Kinsale, Abbeyfort is hard to beat. The unusually high number of excellent ratings is absolutely deserved. It was, by far, the cleanest and best-equipped holiday accommodation we've ever stayed in—whether self-catering or hotel. The attention to detail was outstanding: fresh flower arrangements, basic provisions for the first day, and thoughtful extras like dishwasher tabs, washing-up liquid, salt, pepper, etc.—all those little essentials that aren’t worth buying for a short stay—were kindly provided. The house was always warm and cosy, with an easily adjustable heating system and hot water available day and night. It was peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk from the centre of Kinsale. Even though our group had two cars, we never had an issue with parking—there were always spaces available right outside the front door. The hosts go out of their way to make guests feel welcome, offering helpful tips on sightseeing, pubs, restaurants, and shops. They were also very flexible with our check-out time, which we really appreciated. Holiday rentals don’t come much better than this! Uns hat alles gefallen!

Tolle Insider Tipps! Und das Haus war sehr hochwertig eingerichtet, mit ALLEM was man braucht! Ein ganz ganz tolles Haus! Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen! Danke Mark! Dass die Woche viel zu schnell vorüber ging. 😅
• Barbara (10/5): - Eireen und Mark kommunizieren sehr sympathisch. Aussergewöhnlich und super ist, dass sie uns viele Tipps, wo das Essen besonders gut ist, Attraktionen usw. Gegeben haben. Das Haus ist neu und super eingerichtet. Mit 3 WC und Badewanne und Dusche für uns Luxus pur. Ein eigener Garten steht zur Verfügung und Waschmaschine / Tumbler war für uns sehr praktisch. Abwicklung mit dem Schlüssel, deponiert im Schlüsselsafe, macht das Ankommen und Gehen einfach.

• Christine (10/5): A gem of a house - The house was so very comfortable for the 6 family girl's. We had such a great experience here. The kitchen is well stocked and there were so many thoughtful touches, including fresh flowers, a welcome pack with bread, milk, fruit, coffee, butter and water, which we really appreciated. For a family group of women all getting ready to go out we also welcomed the hairdryers, extension cable and mirrors. The communication from the host was also pretty exceptional and this made such a difference to our stay. Lots of brilliant suggestions and helpful check-ins with us too. We would thoroughly recommend AbbeyFort and would like to return too. Having to go home
• James (9/5): A fabulous house in a great town - The property was very clean and well appointed with a new kitchen and bathrooms. It was a great size for 6 people and had everything we needed for our stay. It was just a short walk or drive from town and was well set up for bringing our dog. The beds were comfortable and rooms spacious. The hosts were extremely helpful and provided lots of information and assistance in the lead up to the stay. They were especially understanding when we couldn’t get to the property on the arrival day due to weather. I would definitely stay again!

They were so helpful and gave us loads of info about the area - where to eat/ have a drink and local points of interest. They had some provisions ready for us when we arrived, including a card and a bottle of wine as I had mentioned to them that we were celebrating my husband's birthday. Nothing!

It had all the essentials we needed for our stay. The hosts Mark and Eileen are wonderful hosts and are quick to respond to my questions. I thought it might have been a tad closer to town, it took us between a 15-20 minute walk to get to the heart of Kinsale's town.

They helped us source a wheel chair which made Blarney Castle and dinner in Kinsale enjoyable. We are soooo grateful for their kindness, help, and hospitality. It is a clean, new townhome with very comfortable bedrooms and a kitchen.

• James (10/5): Abbeyfort Kinsale is a beautiful private townhouse outside of the city center. - After spending a week staying in hotel rooms and eating in restaurants, having a few days in a house with a large kitchen where we could cook our own food was fantastic. There is a grocery store less than five minutes away with a car. The 3 bed, 3 bath townhouse is brand new and located outside of the city center so it is quiet. There is also private parking. Mark and Eileen were attentive wonderful hosts (thank you for the fresh lilies and tulips on the table). Everything was great
