• John (10/5): Very comfortable, extremely clean; friendly hosts, every facility needed for 2 people for 5 days. - We were self-catering, using the excellent kitchen facilities provided. The location was very convenient, both for the Co-op shop a couple of minutes walk away, and the bus stop into town and towards Penzance, outside the Co-op. Everything was excellent.

If you value privacy, this is the perfect place for you. There is also private parking available. Tip: reverse into the driveway, as it will make leaving later much easier. • John Art (10/5): Lovely little bolt hole. - The accommodation was flawless. Spotlessly clean and really comfortable. There were some nice little touches to make our stay more enjoyable. Location is a little out of the way from the centre of St. Ives if you had mobility issues, and it could have done with more options for cooking as you are a little limited with an air fryer and a microwave, but is was manageable.

Great location to walk into St Ives and also go exploring the area Great that the property has a parking spot directly outside too Host Matthew was lovely, there if needed but if not then you won’t know he’s there. • Tom (10/5): Excellent accomodation in a lovely peaceful setting with the town a beach close by. - We were greeted by Matthew when we arrived and he was very pleasant and helpful. On our second day he was changing the internet provider and checked that we could receive a good strong wifi signal after the changeover. He was also easy to contact during our stay in person or by text/phone call but was not intrusive. The accomodation was immaculately clean and tidy. I highly recommend this accomodation and will definitely be going back.
• Joanne (10/5): I would stay there again as lovely - It was a beautiful annex. Very clean and modern. The owners were in the property next door. They were very helpful but left you alone otherwise. The access for the drive to park was a bit of a squeeze. Mainly due to parking on the road. A bit of a walk into the town centre.

• Mark (10/5): An Oasis of calm - Wow! A perfect Oasis of calm in a chaotic & very,very busy Saint Ives. Sunnyside Retreat is just perfect! A 15 minute walk down a steep hill (£5 taxi ride back) into the Harbour with shops, places to eat, railway station and the S/W Coastal Path so never bothered to drive anywhere during our 4 nights stay and walked 22 miles during our 4 days! Great after a 365 mile journey down!!! The property has all that is needed for a relaxing stay and there is a CO-OP 2 minutes walk away open 7am-11pm for anything you may need and an Ex Servicemans club for a beer right next door to the CO-OP if needed, although we didn't use it. The owner Matthew is born and bred in Saint Ives with good recommendations, the likes of a short train trip from Saint Ives station to Saint Erth on the coastal line with amazing views! We extended this to jump on the mainline to Penzance and then bus to Mousehole for a wonderful and peaceful day away from the crowds of Saint Ives. He is unobtrusive but there at hand if any help is needed and lovely to talk with.

Clear instructions provided by Hosts to access property and keys. Worked perfectly Very well located to access St.Ives town and beach front. All at an affordable price and in a comfortable property impeccably kept. Having access to a parking spot was a very big plus Nothing of significance to report. At the this price range I couldn't ask for more. Excellent all round experience

• Darren (10/5): Will be back - Very clean, very modern. All you need in one holiday home Didn’t bother us but it was a hill back up to the room from the town. Taxi was a cheap and easy option

• Beat (10/5): I would love to go there again! - We were able to park our large vehicle directly in front of the flat. The distance to the centre of St Ives can be easily covered on foot. The location is very quiet and the contact was very friendly and helpful. Would book here again anytime and highly recommend the location to my friends. Thank you very much! • George (9/5): Great accommodation as it's a new clean and tidy cottage. - the host Matthews lives next door to the property and he messaged me to say that the accommodation was read for 1pm and the key was in the door. There was also milk, tea/coffee and biscuits available. Matthew introduced himself, but left you alone to enjoy your stay. My only slight criticism was that it was a narrow gate/driveway which made parking tight. I did park right in front of my door each night, but my wife wouldn't not even attempt to drive through the gate.

Parking available at property which for st Ives is rare! Matthew a fantastic host who came and checked we had everything we needed on the first day.

• Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - The location being a short walk from town with parking for the car. Matthew was very welcoming and onsite so in the event of needing to discuss anything was always available, not that it was required.
• Lianne (9/5): Exceptionally clean and very comfortable - As soon as we walked in we noticed how incredibly clean everything was, i was very impressed especially with how clean the bathroom was. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows, i slept really well...on that note the surrounding area was very peaceful. It was roughly 15 minutes to walk into the town and 20 minutes to the beach, which was great. Teas, coffees, sugars and a tin of biscuits were provided and milk in the fridge. There is no cooker but there is a microwave and air fryer. Our host was lovely and popped in to give us a lovely thick soft blanket incase we got cold at night. It was just what we needed for the two of us to access the surrounding areas and be comfortable when we came back🌻

• Nigel (10/5): Exceeded expectations, ticked all the boxes - I was working in the area and wanted a good standard of accommodation for three days not too far from the harbour, with parking and not too expensive. Sunnyside exceeded all my expectations. I thought the property was brand new it was so clean and well appointed. For some it maybe a bit of a steep walk back from the harbour but its good for the calf muscles and you always have the option of a short taxi ride. Had everything we needed plus some nice added touches like bottle water and milk for our coffee in the AM. Parking right outside our door. Truly a gem. I liked everything. Only thing I would add would be a small hot plate. It had everything else.
• David (10/5): Exceptional - St Ives is a very small town with difficult parking/access. Sunnyside Retreat is in an excellent location (15 Minute walk to most places you want to visit and has its own parking. It is also easy to drive to without going through the busy bits of St ives. The property is superb as a base for visits to area. It is very clean and has everything needed for a holiday visit for two people. The addition of an air fryer means cooking is possible, however there are plenty of places to eat out in St Ives.
• Alan (10/5): A very enjoyable 2-night stay. - It was perfect. Only first year so everything brand new. Very spacious and thoughtfully laid out. Ideal for cooking as equipped with fridge/ freezer, air fryer and everything else you might need to cook and dine in. I would highly recommend for short or long stay. Nothing.

• Noel (10/5): Lovely little place to Stay - Lovely little place for a couple to stay at , very modern, clean, and tidy with everything you need for your holiday. There is also a coop at the end of the road for all your essentials. There is nothing to dislike really about the accommodation. If I were to be picky, there is a bit of a hill to climb to get back to the accommodation, but it didn't really bother us.
• Rachel (10/5): 10/10 loved our stay here - The property was immaculate, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It had all that a couple could need for a very comfortable stay. Lots of storage in the bedroom, lovely bathroom and kitchenette, comfy sofa and even outside hanging spot for wet suits to dry, plus the added bonus of a car parking spot. Hosts were very warm and welcoming, overall a 10/10 stay. Nothing to not like
