- Terence (10/5): Can’t wait for my next trip. - What a unique apartment beside the river, and a wonderful little Tearoom which serves gorgeous breakfast and lunches, the staff are all very welcoming and very accommodating to all our requests. Will definitely be back. 10/10 for all I couldn’t say a bad word. They went above and Beyond. It was also so easy to check in, all details were sent for self check in and it was so easy to follow, we were offer the use of the Hot tub for a small fee and it was definitely worth it.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The cottage itself is beautifully presented, spacious, and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a kitchen and cozy living area. The setting is so peaceful, nestled beside the river and surrounded by nature. In the evening, we dined at Basil Sheils, just down the road, and the food was outstanding—homemade, hearty, and family-friendly with a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast there the next morning was just as impressive. It’s a brilliant place for families looking to unwind and reconnect. Whether you want to explore or just relax by the river, Riverside Cottage offers the best of both. We’ve already recommended it to friends and will definitely be back again ourselves!
