Guest Reviews
- Sylwia (10/5): Mi casa es su casa😁 - - zaangażowanie Nicolasa i jego rodziny. Gotowi do działania o każdej porze dnia i nocy. Tutaj nie czułeś się jak gość. Tutaj czułeś się jak w domu. Widać, że wkładają w to miejsce swoje serce.
- lokalizacja. Za dala od wszystkiego. Cisza i spokój.
- Agáta (10/5): - This is a lovely place! It is tucked away in the jungle and there are only two bungalows on the site so it feels very private and intimate. The highlight of our stay was Nicolas, the owner of Quirquincho house – he has been very helpful, kindly offered to drive us with his tuktuk to a nearby swimming pool (very appreciated in the warmth and humidity!), suggested day trips – there are plenty to choose from. Nicolas also cooks meals on site and is able to accommodate to vegetarian preferences too. Good wifi in the bungalows. It is a lovely place to stay for a few night if you need some time off, solitude and quiet. It really was an unforgettable experience with an excellent, helpful and kind host!

- Marily (10/5): Overall a wonderful experience - thank you for everything Nicolas - The lodge was wonderfully situated in the jungle being very quiet and cozy. Our rooms were spotless clean and the owner made every effort to accommodate our needs while also cooking very delicious meals for us every day.
He was also taking us to all tours that we had booked with his private vehicle
Altogether a very pleasant experience The water pressure in the room could be better

- Lisa (8/5): - Quirquincho Lodge is 5.5kms out of Puerto Maldonada along the Tambopata river. The road to the lodge is severely potholed, making the thought of popping to town untenable.
As a result, I had 3 days of delicious relaxing and recouperating to the sounds of the jungle, that to be honest, I didnt realise I needed as much as I did. Nicholas cooked every meal for me and managed to delight me with the variety each time. I think I even put on a couple of pounds...!
Nicholas organises tours; I went to the animal sanctuary - highly recommended- and the sunset cruise, also very enjoyable. Nicholas transports you to each.
Extra strong fan in the room was great for the hot afternoons
Lovely garden surrounds Too much food Nicholas!
Guardamos la moneda y vosotros en el corazón :) - Nicolas and Bastian Nicolas made us feel like home in the jungle. Their place offers the best atmosphere to relax and recharge. Nicolas looked after us every day in every possible way.
We could enjoy a good coffee in the morning, his cooking whenever we wanted to, and he made the extra effort to always drive us wherever we needed to go, which is beyond kind given the gas crisis in Peru right now.
The tours he offered made it possible to witness the exciting wildlife in one of the most biodiverse regions on the planet and we were lucky enough to see sloths, caymans, capybaras, otters, and various birds. One of the highlights was that we also got to spend time with him and the cutest boy on Earth, Bastian Nicolas, trying local food and mouth-watering empanadas in the city.
The place in itself is not only beautiful but private, a sloth occasionally passing by outside the property.
Nicolas is now building a common area with open kitchen, looking out the wonderful wild yard he has preserved. I am truly excited to come back and see how the place has developed. We had to leave at the end of our stay.
- Nicolas (10/5): Best experience in Pérou - One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Nicolás makes you feel at ease right away and truly at home. He takes great care of his guests, from breakfast to lunch and dinner.
A golden host.
I will definitely come back, and I recommend everyone to stay here! Nothing

Nada. Todo excelente.

- Felix (8/5): - Great to have some peace and quiet. There are only two lodges on the property so it's a very relaxing stay. Breakfast was good. Room was clean but basic. Nicholas was super helpful and arranged all transfers and tours and even offered to take us to a nearby (river) beach. The two dogs are also lovely, but if you do not like dogs roaming freely around the property maybe think twice about staying here. We loved it. Water pressure in the shower was low, but I guess that's normal for this area. You always need a taxi to get anywhere, but for the tours booked with Nicholas he takes you there.
- G (10/5): Lovely, simple, peaceful place to stay. - A really lovely, peaceful place to stay, surrounded by the sounds of nature, with all the little whooping, scratching, hooting critters that abound. Nicholas, the host, was so helpful in sorting us out with various things, including day trips. It is quite a way from town so organise your food and drinks before you arrive, and don't be fooled by the distance on the map - the real distance is further as you bounce around swerving round potholes. Some taxis might not make the journey depending on the season. Here be dragons.... Nothing. It was a fabulous place and we were sorry to leave.
- Nerlit (9/5): Se cerchi il contatto con la natura, questo è il posto ideale - The houses are immersed within luxurious vegetation, so it is a perfect location for someone who wants to connect with nature, see the stars and avoid the city noise.
The owners were extremely kind, the food was delicious and home made.
- Manuel (8/5): Nice lodge in the jungle - If you want to be directly in the jungle and not in the city, this is the right place. Nicolas is also a very friendly and accommodating host and with his crazy offroad tuktuk he gets you through puddles and mud anywhere you want to get :) He even assisted us with reorganising our bus when it was cancelled and really went out of his way for that - thank you. Just be aware that you are far away from the city and restaurants, etc. However, you can buy everything from Nicolas from breakfast to dinner and he can organise transportation to the city. You can also book tours for a good price directly with him. In one of the two cabins the toilet and sink were leaking a bit, which wasn't that pleasant. We hope this will be fixed soon.
- Jinghui (10/5): Very nice stay. Nicolas is always there to help. The house also arrange day tours. -
- Rebecca (8/5): Very good - Near to the city but in the complete nature, no car/motorcycle noises, you only hear the animals. And only two guest houses. Room according to description.
Juice at breakfast very delicious.
Recommend to do the Lago Yacumama tour with the owner Nicolas. A small bench, table or similar could be in the room to put the luggage.
