- Florence (7/5): Good - They have friendly staff, not far from the attractions we wanted to go to. Ohh and also the sheets were clean. The toilet had a weird smell, shower door not suitable for plus sized people.

- Mafemo (5/5): Good for an overnight stay if youâre visiting the area momentarily. - It looked well maintained on the outside. I was able to check in very late which I appreciated and the security guard on duty was extremely accommodating. The beds were incredibly hard, the fridge and microwave did not work. Just as a safety element, there are a lot of slippery surfaces when it rains.
- Mogofe (7/5): -
- Mogofe (7/5): - The staff is extremely friendly, everything in the room was clean, everything works from the microwave to the aircon and the shower had hot water plus security 24/7. The guy who works there at night is very patient and attends to you in a nice manner, I liked his service. The rooms don't have stairs you have to go the other way round because the stoep is too high. No twin plugs in the room atleast if they made provision for sockets that support USB cables and c type sockets.
- MACBETH BABOELELE (6/5): - Very quiet place. Almost all TV channels. Aircon The room had a mold smell that i couldn't tolerate, the area too wet maybe they got too much rain. Only 1 towel in the room, you step on wet floors after showering. No fridge in the room
- Shumani (7/5): -
- Gift (5/5): -
- Vs (5/5): Be true to your guest and charge them accordingly - 1st broken mirror, broken mirror it's bad. Swimming pool not in useable and dirty. 1 towel for a couple and no towels in a bath room. Pillows not clean. No condoms . No iron .u have a kettle but no tea, coffee and suger sachets at least.
- Magotla (8/5): - I didn't eat the breakfast i left early They put one towel while we were two guests
- Nnditsheni (7/5): water - Environment water
- Abigaile (2/5): we did not enjoy our stay - i liked nothing there were no tea sachets like , tea bags, sugar and milk in the rooms
there were not enough towels it was only one small towel.
bedding in my colleagues room was not clean
no micro wave to warm the food in the rooms
tv was not working
- RICHARD (1/5): non existing guesthouse - Apparently this guesthouse does not exist never found the guesthouse at location provided on website

- Matimba (8/5): Good value for money. - The place is clean and neat. The room was spacious enough for our family of 4, it is good value for đ°. The pool is clean with a beautiful family dining area that has gas braai stand. The stuff is super friendly and ensured that the room was cleaned daily. My family and I had a splendid 3 nights stay here. What a đ experience. I didn't love the fact that in the toilet they only put a tissue, there was no hand wash and towel to dry â. Their kitchen is not on good condition, it can do with a little revamp.
- Maano (4/5): -
- Ntoi (10/5): -
- Andani (7/5): - Its peaceful nice as shown in pictures, the service was proper. Nice place to visit.
- Ntoi (10/5): - Mostly the stuff are more welcoming and friendly.. I stayed in Lugogo for 11 days every thing is perfect for me and my family. I start to stay there from March 2025 i never went wrong for everything. When i get there i feel like home. I love my people Rudzani and Thinah . nothing
- Sibusiso (6/5): - Nice view, welcoming. No break fast. It must come inclusive.
- Abby (10/5): - Ladies where welcoming, I was feeling at home Cleaned, bed was comfortable
- Mpho (9/5): - The rooms were clean and staff friendly You had to fight with the doors to lock
- Kate (1/5): The owner of lugogo shouldn't do false advertising and then charge a lot of money it is not fair - The staff tried When I got there the rooms I booked didn't consists of things that were advertised I was with my infant her food got spoiled as they had taken out bar fridges from both rooms and gave it to other people.
Aircon was malfunctioning heating up the room and it had Windows they switched it on n took away it's remote.
The rooms had no keys and we were not notified upon arrival only when we wanted to lock and go out it really was a horrible experience
- Mahosi (8/5): -
- moerane (5/5): - The yard was quiet. The coffee and tea station not set up to a standard. There was only one remote for the AC that caters for multiple of rooms.
- Makuya (5/5): Nice and quiet area, safe parking and swimming pool - It is located close to the road and shopping center. Our room lacked most of necessary things e.g towels, fridge, coffee and air-conditioning remote. Shower door opening can be a challenge for a big person.
- Azwindini Hendrick (9/5): - Everything Not being able to control the aircon
- Naledzani (7/5): good and pleasant - The rooms were clean, value for money, staff was friendly. comfortable beds.
They could add more towels in the bathroom and mirror. otherwise it is a good place. not a dislike but improvement, to add enougg cups for tea, two sachet for coffee and creamer, it does not have to be freshmilk and sugar just in case.
- Rendani (3/5): Very bad - The swimming pool The rooms were very dirty, tiles need proper scrubbing, doors needs to be clean, the room doesn't smell nice.
No towels in the room,,Nov bar fridge and the rooms has no keys
- Nthabiseng (1/5): Uncomfortable - Nothing The check in was weird. Security guard is working as receptionist. He didnât understand English. The room had no towels. When I asked for towels he gave me a wet towel that was black and with bleach marks. There were two people in the room and he gave me a small hand towel. I had to ask for another one. Then he gave me a fleece blanket that I didnât ask for. I was not given keys to my room and he told us there is no keys we just lock from the outside. That didnât feel safe. The room we got next to security didnât look like anything on the page. The stay was just not comfortable
- Keitshepile (4/5): - Your rooms are good and the staff are welcoming. The service we got was good I didn't like that we didn't get a kitchen and we were struggling to make meals,no cutlery and plates to serve. I asked if the guest house is a self catering and they said yes. No fridge to put our food and some of our food was spoiled.
- Lethabo (1/5): I was not satisfied. Gave it a 1 because I had a place to sleep. No value for money there. - There were no towels, no complementary shampoo and lotion, the toilet paper provided was really small. It was like it was used by 3 groups of people before us. The water from the shower spills to the outside when we shower and thereâs no mat or mop provided, that led me to falling after taking a shower because of the wet floor. The room was not as tidy and the roof was leaking, we had to move beds during the night so that we donât get wet. The person who was manning the reception wasnât as kind, he took time to answer the phone when we needed him t open the gate for us. The gate was locked from the inside making it hard for the person outside to access the place. An automatic gate would be better to avoid people waiting for long outside when they sign in.
- Muofhe (1/5): - Nothing Everything
There was no soap ,no lotion ,water was dirty
The environment was not good at all
I just lost my 599
- thivho (10/5): It was a good stay for the price - the staff was super friendly and really helpful. I also enjoyed the braai facilities as well We could have more pillows towels and fleece blankets
And the WI-FI wasnât working properly
- Sonia (6/5): It was good - The view was very good No towel, fridge and shower didnât have a door
- Ortega (10/5): -
- Humbulani Stanley (3/5): -
- Apfeswaho (6/5): - Location No towels. Bathroom only had tissue. The mattress seemed a bit old.
- Mokgoatle (8/5): Peaceful place to be at. - If they can try to work on their geyser, took a shower with lukewarm water.
- Thembelihle (4/5): - We booked a standard double room, which was not indicated as a family room at the time of booking. Upon arrival, we were allocated a room with two double beds placed side by side. This arrangement was not specified in the room description, nor were there any pictures provided on the website that reflected this setup.
Had this information been clearly communicated beforehand, we would have made an informed decision prior to booking. Unfortunately, due to the unsuitable room layout for our needs, we were compelled to make an additional payment in order to be moved to accommodation with two separate bedrooms.
We believe the room description and images on the website are misleading and do not accurately represent the accommodation provided.
- Ntoi (10/5): -
- M (8/5): Good - The bed Aircon was not working
- Guest (10/5): -
- Erence Mulatshawe (6/5): - The stuff was friendly Deity pool, very dry towels,no place to put ur drinks and no privacy
- Makuwa (3/5): -
- Khanyisile (4/5): -
- Theo (1/5): Worst of the worst - Absolutely the worst guesthouse experience I have ever had in Venda. I would never recommend this place to anyone, nor would I ever return.
My partner and I checked in on Friday, and from the moment we entered the room, things were already unacceptable.
The toilet did not flush.
There was no hot or cold water in the basin â the tap only opened on one side.
Several items in the room were broken and clearly not maintained.
We were booked for two nights, but left the guesthouse at 8am on Saturday to attend to our plans. When we returned later, we discovered that our room had been given to someone else without our knowledge or consent. We were moved to another room, which was even worse. The room was filled with bugs â you kill one and within minutes more appear, an endless cycle.
We asked the staff if they could arrange alternative accommodation for us, but they refused. As a result, we ended up sleeping in our car for the entire night.
There was no communication from the guesthouse about moving us, no apology, nothing.
Advice to anyone considering this place:
Stay far away unless you are absolutely desperate â and even then, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. There are much better guesthouses in Venda. My biggest regret is not reading the reviews before booking. Absolutely the worst guesthouse experience I have ever had in Venda.
