Guest Reviews
- Megan (10/5): - Brilliant place to stay. Family of 5 with a dog with us for the NW200. House is cosy with beautiful artwork by owner throughout. Massive garden with a play park out the back for the little one and just a short drive from all the action.
We loved it and will be back. Comfiest beds and pillows ever.
- Alexander (8/5): -
- Orla (10/5): Great family base for exploring Causeway coast - Great location, comfortable house, fully equipped, nice back garden
- cunningham (9/5): -
- Catherine (9/5): Quiet, comfy cottage - Had a really lovely stay, location is perfect, house is clean, comfortable with all the facilities you need, secure garden is great for puppers No complaints
- Laren (9/5): A wonderful week in the heart of Dunseverick - The cottage was lovely and had been thoughtfully decorated. It was warm and cozy. The location was fantastic and Pam was friendly, responsive and incredibly generous.
- Kristi (7/5): Lovely location, perfect for short family vacation. - The location was distant, it was in a small village, but we liked it very much. Big house, spacious, had all the necessary facilities. My dog loved the small yard behind the house. Nature outside is excellent, we went for a walk and enjoyed it very much. Lovely place! The first floor, specially kitchen floor is very cold, I fell ill almost immediately.

- Pauline (10/5): Fabulous - The cottage was very cosy and quaint with a stunning view from the upstairs lounge . The bed was very comfortable and I slept soundly . The garden is fully enclosed and the best I have encountered for my dog … fabulous … didn’t have to worry about her escaping . The owner was so helpful and allowed me to check in very early which was much appreciated . I would thoroughly recommend staying here if you have the chance .
- Robert (10/5): - Excellent communication, Pamela was very quick to reply and an accommodating host.
The house is in a great spot within reach of all the major tourist hubs of the area but is very quiet and you are out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the Giants Causeway.
Be sure to explore the all the spots that are virtually on this properties doorstep: Dunseverick Harbour, Falls and Castle.
All rooms and facilities were excellent. The house is very comfortable for both dogs and humans! Spacious kitchen and dining area. Great outside space for the pups and would be excellent for Summer visits. All the bedrooms are wonderfully made-up and very comfortable. The living room is upstairs and has a great view along the coast towards Ballintoy and Rathlin Island.
We had a really wonderful couple of days and will happily visit again.
Thank You!
- Suzanne (8/5): - Spacious and comfortable. Great beds. Lots of space and everything we needed. Cosy. Great views. Nothing
- Isobel (8/5): - The location and the view from living room window. The outdoor seating space could do with some attention.
- Maria (9/5): Great stay friendly staff lovely holiday home - Good location spacious Bath to step in and out of compared to a sower but that was just a preference to a shower not a negative
- Angela (10/5): - Fantastic location, we visited the giants causeway, Ballycastle, Portrush, Portstewart. In Dunseverick the beaches and rock pools were amazing. The weather certainly helped. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything you needed.
- Bridget (10/5): -
- Kennedy (10/5): Wonderful stay - House facilities and location
- David (8/5): Our time was great, but what I paid for the weeek it wasn’t great, done the job - Its location was good. Toilet sink water was weak, pressure wise. Needing a deep clean around appliances , skirtings, floors a few spiders etc to deal with. Entrance to house needs deep clean, door threshold. Kitchen units doors req att.
- Doshi_k (10/5): Wonderful place - Location, furnishings, comfort, back yard, facilities, host touches, size, 2 WC and 1 bathroom. While we saw in the reviews of shower water pressure being an issue, it seems to have been sorted out with a portable motor cum heater shower being installed.
- Anna (10/5): Wonderful family break! - Amazing host and fab property, so handy to all the best attractions. Beds were super comfy and views were amazing…we will definitely be back!
- Tania (9/5): It was great to spread out and enjoy a home away from home - Loved the location in small village near the coast the cottage was cosy and comfortable Nothing😊
- Elaine (10/5): fantastic stay - we had a great time beds were really comfy .the garden was fantastic just pity we couldn't stay longer .loved pams artwork get it on for sale xxx nothing
- David (10/5): Exceptional - very good Sea side
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - Great location for the North coast, great facilities for a young family with great back garden and even a wee park out the back. Fantastic views front and back. N/A
- Thomas (10/5): Saltwater cottage Easter stay - Lovely and cosy. Ideal base for sightseeing and some great cafes and restaurants a short drive away. A very welcoming home from home, clean and sleeps 6 comfortably. Mountain and sea views. The best night's sleep we have ever had! Highly recommended - we will definitely be back.
- Stephanie (10/5): Relaxing break in a lovely environment - House was so cosy...in a really quiet area!

- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Connor (10/5): Exceptional - Very tidy and very convenient to Bushmills and the Gaints Causeway.
The accommodation is a wee gem N/A
- John (8/5): Really nice stay in a great location and very comfortable property. - Great location lots of facilities Looked like it could do with a freshening up and deep clean but overall was acceptably clean and tidy.
- Kerrie (5/5): Disappointed - Beds were clean and comfy Just needs updating and a thorough clean
- Malgorzata (9/5): nice family cottage - beautiful location, spacious for a family, well equipped kitchen, nice comfortable beds the sitting room is on the top floor, away from the kitchen so it could be a bit awkward if family wants to hang out in the evening with a cuppa
- Christine (9/5): A lovely cosy stay in a wonderful location - Perfect location. Lovely gas fire. Well equipped kitchen. Very cosy cottage with lots of extra touches including the hosts fun artwork. Perhaps another double bed so one double and a single downstairs to offer more choice.
Also wud be good to remove the bath and put in a good shower.
- John (8/5): Very good -
- David (8/5): Very good - Nice we place. Enjoyed our stay
- Junely (9/5): I will definitely 100% recommend this self catering home to everyone who would need a wonderful vacation in Northern Ire - The location is perfect. The dunseverick castle and falls is just a few minutes walk from the house. Its also a few miles away only from Giant’s Causeway on left and Carrick a-rede on right. There’s bus available for transport on its street. You can also take a swim anytime everyday if you like cuz you have the irish sea just a few walks away near the house. We were attended by Pamela who is very wonderful. She lend us a bag of basmati rice when we needed it during our first day of stay in the house. The sea view upstairs from the house is spectacular! My whole family will definitely come back again to Saltwater Cottage House! We had some few allergic reactions maybe because of the built wood of the house. My husband was contanstly having slight breathing problems and sneezing esp in our bedroom. Then we had sudden busted light bulbs in the toilet downstairs and also on the corridor on our 3rd and 4th day. But its no big deal with us because of the warm welcome and hospitality of Pamela and her son Shane. Plus we still had a great fun and stay with the cottage house!
- Linzi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janine (9/5): Superb -
- Trevor (9/5): Superb - Great location between Bushmills and Balintoy. Outside decked area was great and the view of Rathlin from the upstairs living room was superb. Nothing, no issues over our 3 night stay.
- Alison (9/5): A great escape from the world. - The view from the upstairs living room window and the peace plus the location. The bathroom tap had very low pressure.
- Mirella (8/5): Very good -
- Tamas (9/5): Simple house but well worth the money - Excellent location, right on the scenic route. You can rent the whole end-of-terrace house with three bedrooms (for 6 people), kitchen, a bathroom with toilet, guest toilet, kitchen, sitting room, large rear garden. The host left the keys in the door (we didn't actually meet the host). The kitchen is equipped with al essentials (fridge, microwave, oven, hob, ...). Very quiet location. Free parking in front yard.
- Joanne (10/5): Perfect cottage for our giants causeway coastal walk. Bus stop outside was ideal - Perfectly located
- Theo-anne (10/5): Exceptional - Petfect location!
- Sohanwolf (9/5): Superb - The Location The view The easiness of check in. Very clear lush house One. Missing some essentials like soaps and shampoos (even pouches will do).
Rest all is Good
- Tara (10/5): Exceptional - The location was brilliant - went for a lovely coastal walk from the house. Loved that the living room was upstairs - the views from the window were amazing! No complaints.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Saltwater Cottage Family stay - House was clean, spacious, great location , Host was AMAZING and Gracious, very attentive. Loved the house layout and seaside Lamps / art & Art CREATED by host was beautiful !! A little chilly, perhaps heating being adjusted slightly warmer for colder weather would have been amazing
