- Kuba (8/5): - Very spacious apartment close distance to the central bus station and local market and also walking distance to the main city attractions or to the local transport. We enjoyed our stay very much at that property and we would definitely stay again. The owner was asking for the payment for this place in cash straight away on our arrival even though it's pretty clear you don't have the local currency on your arrival.... Next day from early morning the owner was texting again asking for the money. It felt like he doesn't believe that we are going to pay. When I finally arranged to meet him by the cash machine to withdraw the money and pay he demanded the payment in Euro instead of the Moldovan lej which is obviously more expensive to withdraw from abroad. TV didn't work all the time we stayed there. On the first day the owner was trying to fix it but he couldn't. I thought he'd be back the next day to try again but he never showed up. There were 4 of us staying but we were only given 1 set of keys.
