Location was convenient for Dundee and tourist routes. Parking could have been an issue. We had to park a fair distance away but it was on the road and free.
The room had skylights with no blinds or covering so we had light early in the morning which woke us up around 5.30am.

The bar and entertainment made it such a fun and memorable evening. The food, both evening meal and breakfast, were really lovely. It was so clean and comfortable. I will definitely be back. We all loved our stay.
- Cathy (8/5): Comfortable - Brilliant Staff Nowhere to put toiletries in bathroom. Would have liked more than two teabags and a wee biscuit would have been nice.
- Tim (7/5): Buyer Beware! - The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. The room (No2) was above the pub and was very noisy. There was a quiz on two of the evenings of my three night stay and it was very loud. Unfortunately it’s not mentioned when booking the accommodation.
The staff pushed the specials menu but the meals advertised were either not available or were incomplete like a roast chicken dinner with no roast chicken or blue cheese ribeye steak with no blue cheese. This was the same all three evenings?
- William (8/5): - The breakfast was excellent. We also had an evening meal on two of the nights which were also excellent
- Vicki (10/5): A great wee place - The staff are all lovely, very helpful. The room was modern and very clean. The bar area was cosy with the open fire on, and great service. Right next to the waterfront, and a 5 minute walk from the train station

Excellent breakfast
Staff went over and above all are a credit particularly the manager Can't faultvit
- Vicki (10/5): - Welcome very efficiently despite a packed premises due to Scotland vs. Ireland rugby game. Tracy booked us in, and we were given keys to our room. The room was great. Light airy clean and comfortable. We both had a drink in the bar, which had a lovely atmosphere, and then slept very well. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Couldn't fault it, and the server was so friendly and made us feel very well looked after. I would definitely recommend for a couple of weekends or short breaks - it does have quite a lot of stairs to rooms, though. Nothing. It was honestly really nice and friendly . Loved it.
- Cecile (9/5): -
- William Keys (10/5): - Staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was first class. Nothing to not like
