• Samantha (10/5): A wonderful Easter break in Barmouth - We stayed for 4 nights over Easter. From the time of booking, communication from Jo was great. The apartment was a great size for my husband and I and was clean and fresh on arrival. Plenty of plug sockets, lights and radiators. Good sized hanging rail with plenty of coathangers for our clothes. A lovely retreat, a few moments away from town centre and plenty of restaurants, pubs and shops. We travelled on train, the apartment around a 10-15 minute walk from Barmouth train station, which was great for traveling around and exploring Wales. It is a basement apartment but as soon as you step out, you have beautiful views of the sea, harbour, hills and the Barmouth bridge. (See photos) The Harbour has a real community feel and is buzzing during the day. The area was lovely and quiet at night. Apart from the roaring winds of storm Dave, which made a cosy night in even better 😊 The apartment looks modern but also has a lovely rustic feel, we had everything needed for our stay. We are already looking at when we can book again.

• Tina (8/5): Lovely apartment, lovely location and definitely would go back. - Lovely cosy apartment, and straight out onto the harbour. Host was really friendly and was willing to allow a later check in and even said she would stay up incase we had any problems. Location was amazing Was a little cold but soon warmed up and did imagine more of a view from the apartment but that's just personal opinion

• Neil (10/5): Harbour apartment - The apartment was cozy, warm and comfortable Jo the owner, very good Comms Sadly as a disabled person, the approach to the apartment was via a steep hill which left me gasping for breath., so not ideal for those that have a disability. The rain lol, it came down with biblical amounts, the only thing missing was Noah's ark.

• Judith (6/5): Good sized basement flat - The facilities were good - nice bedroom and living space. Shower was good and the kitchen had everything you needed for short stay but no decent sized saucepans to make a pasta for example. The owners were very helpful and friendly to met us with the keys. I didn't like being in a basement flat and it wasn't clear from the photos that this was the case. The view was from small basement windows in the sitting room of peoples feet and legs and bicycle wheels...I had imagined a view of the harbour given the location and the name "Harbour Apartment". Unloading is slightly stressful as you cannot drive up the street but need to find a space at the bottom and carry bags up.

• Annie (8/5): A chilling out few days for both of us - Exceptionally clean and fresh. Lovely aroma from the diffusers. Very well equipped 👍🏻 Unfortunately there’s no view from the property window but when you go outside the view is brilliant.

• Sarah (8/5): Great for a couples beach and walking stay. - Perfect location with restaurants and cafes nearby. Only 200 yards from the beach. Very clean and cosy vibe. Good value for an apartment. No view which is a shame as there is a fantastic view outside. The floors felt slightly damp?!
• Jodie (10/5): Brilliant - The apartment was beautiful and clean, and we loved staying in it. We loved it when you walked out of the apartment and got a beautiful view of the harbour and mountains. The lady and gentlemen who owned the apartment were so lovely and helpful, and they made our first holiday experience together brilliant. We will definitely be back and highly recommend staying here. It is in the perfect location, so near the beach and lovely shops, we honestly had the best time staying in this apartment. Nothing it was perfect
• Amy (8/5): Very good - Great location, living area is spacious, nice modern bathroom and kitchen and fridge was very handy. Nice touches with the little packets of biscuits and water in the fridge. Not a lot of counter space in the kitchen, but adequate space for prepping simple meals.
• Neil (8/5): Comfortable, quiet apartment beside the sea. - Very comfortable apartment. Nice and quiet and an excellent location. The Bed was lovely and comfortable. Good Bathroom and great shower. Host responded very quickly to the questions we had. Was rather disappointed to find no Oven, only stovetop and a Microwave. However, Jo told us that she is thinking of perhaps changing this.

• Roger (8/5): Harbour apartment - Lovely position over the harbour, plenty of cafes and restaurants in easy walking distance We arrived on a motorbike and managed to find a spot to park it but cars would have to use one of the public car parks, easy walking distance

• Adam (1/5): Awful accommodation, feeling scammed. - The location is really good. The shower, although small, was good. Barmouth.itself, is lovely. This is a dark, very damp basemnt. Very basic with limited facilities and poor amenities. It had an odour that was musky and damp. Poor attention to detail and very over priced. Poor hosting and no attempt to placate or offer any meaningful recompense. No view of anything other than ankles and cars tyres. We initially only had 2 small towels for a weeks stay.

Plenty of storage space in the wardrobe with good amount of hangers. Apartment is in an ideal location by the harbour. No parking outside the apartment but not a big issue as there is a large carpark on the seafront £11.25 for 24hrs just a couple of minutes walk away. Would definitely stay here again when I return to Barmouth. Would recommend The Bank restaurant. Food and service were excellent.

• Kerry (8/5): Very good - A fantastic location on the harbour. A spacious property, clean and comfortable. It was a basement properties so did not have any views from inside. This wasn’t clear from the description.
• Tony (8/5): a place to chill and get away from the hussle and bussle - the property was clean and tidy and well kept was very dark at night, perhaps a spot light when making an entrance to the property.
