- Joanna (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (8/5): Very good - Everything up to this one negative point. The sound dampening was not that good in the building, and was a bit noisy because of the neighbors.
- Marko (3/5): Poor - Our recent stay at the apartment booked through Booking.com in Rome was highly disappointing. The quality of the accommodation fell far below expectations, leaving much to be desired. Upon arrival, we were greeted with only two towels for a six-day stay, which was inadequate for our needs.
To exacerbate matters, the owner demanded an additional payment for a city tax fee(which we paid btw), which was not clearly communicated during the booking process. Moreover, the toilet seat was broken, and the bed provided was uncomfortably small, resulting in a restless sleep throughout our stay.
Furthermore, the owner attempted to charge us extra for arriving a few hours later than initially intended, which felt unreasonable and unprofessional. The overall condition of the apartment was subpar, with outdated furnishings and amenities, excluding the kitchen, which remained unused due to our disappointment with the rest of the accommodation.
In summary, our experience at this apartment in Rome was marred by poor quality, insufficient amenities, unexpected charges, and unmet expectations. We urge Booking.com to reassess the listing and ensure transparent communication to prevent future guests from encountering similar disappointments.
