- Paul (10/5): Magical and spacious property - An absolutely beautiful, spacious and well equipped house, with lovely gardens and orchards around, and trails into the surrounding bushland. The house was beautifully furnished, beds were comfortable and the showers great. It is an easy 15 min drive from Portland, and 25 min from the walking trails at Cape Nelson and Cape Bridgewater.
- Warrick (7/5): Thank you for a restful break. - Location was quite and restful as a retreat after a long year; enjoyed the wildlife, birds, cows, maybe not the possums or birds scratching in the roof all night, Comfortable rustic retreat for time out. There were five of us and only 4 chairs around the dining table, room for 4 on the couches, rubbish bins were too small for that many people for a week, no bins in the bathrooms, no cushions, minimal cleaning accessories for washing up and not enough pillows if you like sleeping with two.
- Betty (8/5): Beautiful location and house had some history. The property owners responded quickly to minor issue. - At first, I was bit surprised that the property was 20 minutes from Portland, but the surrounds was worth the extra drive. The wallabies on road were amazing and so cute. Stepping into shower over spa bath was not good for us as not as flexible as we were. So, if the bathroom is to be renovated, I would suggest removing the spa bath as the property is on rainwater so not required as bath in downstairs bathroom. Some hooks in bathroom to hang up towels would be useful. Had a visiting mouse who got into some of food items.
- Ku (9/5): I highly recommend this place for families with kids. There’s plenty of outdoor space for children. - The house offers great privacy, as it's secluded and away from everyone. It's conveniently located just 12 minutes from the main town and 15 minutes from the main beach in Portland. This was our first time staying in the middle of the bush, but we enjoyed it so much that we will definitely stay here again if we ever travel this way There wasn’t enough cutlery provided, and we couldn’t get the outdoor fire pit started on the first night.
- Cherrie (10/5): really enjoy our stay - plenty of kids' toys, board games, and a great yard with natural views. The hosts also provide basic kitchen stuff and kids' snacks. We appreciate that.
- Lisa (8/5): Very good -
- Pete (10/5): Exceptional - The house is serene and the tapwater is some of the best drinking water you will find. Heat pumps warm the house quickly.
- Sima (10/5): The property was excellent really classic house - Everything was great Extra pillows and a vacuum
