Darren (10/5): Exceptional - The accommodations are great and you feel safe with the gated area, Host is helpful with anything you need or information about the area. The road is narrow but there is more than one way to get there so with some experimentation you can find the path best for you. Highly recommend! There are no toilet seats but this is common in Sicily.

Petr (10/5): Exceptional - The first welcome to Sicily was literally hot, with the ferry landing in Palermo followed by an almost five-hour drive to Misterbianco due to the raging fires across the island. After this rather difficult journey with arrival to the accommodation around midnight, I received a warm welcome from Domenico, including refreshments, which I definitely appreciated. In the morning I woke up to a beautiful sunny day with a view of the green garden and the majestic Mount Etna in the background. The house is located in a quiet area on the outskirts of the city without disturbing elements. In its rear part there is a covered terrace with seating and a grill. The interior of the house shines with cleanliness and I found here everything I needed for my stay of more than a month. When I mentioned the need for an iron and ironing board, Domenico brought them the next day. It is definitely worth praising his concern for the guest's satisfaction, when he always asked if anything was needed. I also like to remember the moments when we sat together and discussed life in Sicily and other things. Being invited to dinner and sitting with his family was also great, and I firmly believe that due to my staying on the island for a long time, we did not see each other for the last time!
