- barry (9/5): Ideal for a short break - Well equipped and clean convenient location for accessing Fort William and the surrounding area.
Very quiet Room to park a car off road.
- gail (7/5): -
- Gareth (10/5): Perfect place to spend the weekend , thank you - Perfect location with a nice view, very quiet spot Could have done with a fan or 2 but it was the hottest day in Scotland for 2 years!
- Malcolm (9/5): - Very clean, modern and comfortable. Short, 10 minute walk to Fort William and close to Great Glen way. Bathroom was a little snug!
- Paula (8/5): A very good stay, quiet location. - Was in a quiet location.
- Brenda (9/5): Little gem in Fort William - Great apartment, very well equipped and we appreciated the fresh milk and tea, coffee etc.
The location was ideal for the station and town centre. We enjoyed our walks to and fro for dinner. Good communication from the holiday co. and easy access. Parked one night in the little village car park but then the owner/neighbour offered the drive so that was good for loading luggage. Quiet road🙂 Nothing really...took a little while to get the shower to run a steady heat using the controls but no big issues.
- Gordon (8/5): Enjoyable stay, clean comfortable and quiet location but close to town - Clean. Quiet location. Comfortable bed. Toiletries provided. Left milk, biscuits, tea, coffee and porridge. Parking. Short walk into town Would have preferred small table and chairs
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stewart (6/5): Great location and facilities, small easy fixes would make this a 10/10 stay - Great location and great little apartment for me and my partner with great facilities that met our needs. The bed seemed well used and extremely soft that you would fell yourself rolling into middle of bed. There was quite a bit of noise from upstairs too.
- Lyn (9/5): Lovely apartment in nice neighbourhood close to Fort William. - Pleasant stay, beautifully furnished and in a lovely neighbourhood. Very comfortable and clean. We found the bed was hard and could do with a mattress topper to make it more comfortable.
Surprised there was no microwave as we had purchased some ready to heat meals that weren’t in containers suitable for a conventional oven.
- Deborah (6/5): Clean apartment but it is a 25min walk (google maps) to the centre of fort William or £10 taxi ride -
- Margaret (9/5): Lovely and well-equipped apartment in a good location, away from noise and traffic. Delightful! - Great location, quiet neighbourhood with lovely street & mountain views. Easy access to all we wanted to do and see. Very welcoming host.
- Johanna (8/5): Very good -
- Malcolm (9/5): A lovely apartment a short walk from town - Beautifully appointed and equipped apartment in a very quiet area not too far from the station and town centre. Nice to find an apartment fridge with a small freezer section! Comfortable, warm. Instructions for oven etc seemed to go missing but we guessed correctly. A microwave would have been brilliant but space is limited. A non slip mat for the shower would be good too. Places to put wet clothes limited
- Steven (8/5): Quiet and comfortable - Quiet and comfortable and close to Ben Nevis. It’s a little far to walk into town.
For some reason Fort Williams is expensive, basically value for money is questionable.
- Jeanette (9/5): A Very Comfortable Apartment in Fort William - The apartment was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a two night stay. The owner was quick to respond and especially helpful when we had issues operating the front door and the TV. The location was quiet with a beautiful outlook.
- Reto (10/5): Clean and comfortable appartement in a quiet area - Spacious appartment with a nice kitchen and a good bed. The parking lot was just in front of the door. The accomodation was clean and very comfortable and in a very quiet neighbour hood. Only 10 minutes walk to the city center of Fort Williams Nothing - I would stay in this appartement again. Maybe one recommendation: Lower the TV a bit because it is toovhigh up.
- Paul (8/5): Wonderful flat, clean and comfortable by Ben Nevis - This was an ideal location and clean and comfortable. We were very pleased with the accommodation. This was ideal for us, the apartment was well equipped. Thank you There was a problem with the drains in the shower, bathroom as the room was smelly. This might need some attention. Apart from that we had no problems
- Karen (5/5): Nice little apartment batroom needs to be updated and tended to - It was neat and tidy new kitchen quiet location Septic smell coming from the bathroom was almost unbearable and made our stay unpleasant.
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
- Pak (8/5): Great choice in Fort William - Nicely equipped kitchen; clean and tidy room; walking distance from train station
- Peter (7/5): Not quite good enough apartment. - The apartment was roomy, comfortable, and well set up. Location was a few minutes' drive from the centre of Fort William. The room had no instructions on how to use any of the facilities. It even stated that there was a folder of instructions, but it wasn't there. Not good enough. We were very disappointed.
- Janet (8/5): Clean and comfortable but lacked a few home comforts. - Clean and tidy. Lack of home comforts e.g. No access to garden, no microwave in kitchen, no parking on driveway. In my opinion it needed more storage and blackout blinds in bedroom.
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location!! Town was just a short walk away, and the accommodation was tasteful and clean. I would definitely stay here again. I'd like to have been able to park on the drive outside the front door. There was plenty of room for our car but we were asked to park on the street...we had luggage with us as this was just the start of our touring trip, so would have been handy to have just unloaded and loaded on the doorstep....my only gripe though.
- Shaun (8/5): Very good -
- Phui (7/5): It was comfortable enough to meet basic needs. - Spacious, clean and the kitchen has all the basic things needed to prepare simple meals. The shower is not quite upgraded. The plastic holder of the shower head was cracked so it was not holding up the shower head properly. The bed head frame and the bed frame were not screw on properly so it’s wobbly and squeaky. We can actually see the bed head frame leaning forward.
- Dave (8/5): Nice accommodation. - Spotless and very comfortable accommodation. The location is further out from the centre than I thought. Its described as 10 minutes walk - I would say closer to 20 to the centre.
- John (10/5): Perfect place to stay - It was immaculate and well furnished for a short stay. We would stay again. Very easy instructions to get key. Nothing
- Ilka (9/5): Very lovely and modern apartment! - The apartment was absolutely lovely. Everything was perfectly clean, super comfortable and modern. We traveled for some time around Scotland and this was our 4th accommodation and it was our most favorit. It's located in Inverlochy in a very quite and friendly neighborhood.
It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to walk into town over a bridge with a beautiful view, so we always enjoyed walking home.
We met the owner, who lifes next door and he was super nice.
What I also enjoyed was the smell of the textiles. The bed linen, the pillows on the sofa... Everything smelled really good. It was pleasant.
We definetly recommend staying at Stobhan Apartment! There isn't a thing, we didn't like.
Only, what we missed or recommend to get.
It would be great to have a little shelf in the bathroom, maybe a colander for pasta in the kitchen and a broom, to occasionally sweep the kitchen. Apart from that everything was perfect for us.
- Linda (7/5): Good -
- Fiona (7/5): Comfortable apartment - The apartment was very clean and I enjoyed the self-catering aspect. The apartment was well presented and tidy. I enjoyed having access to Netflix. The apartment was situated in a quiet part of town about 15-20 minutes walk to the High Street. The warm water in the kitchen and ensuite sink kept disappearing though I didn't report it! The shower was fine though. There was a sewerage smell in the toilet! We had problems accessing the key and locking the apartment but eventually figured out the door! I would have preferred a block-out blind in the bedroom.
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janice (7/5): Good - Good property close to Fort William was fine for a short break No parking
- Camila (9/5): Superb - Spacious, comfortable and clean No laundry machine.
- Jillian (9/5): Conveniently located private entrance very clean apartment. - Privacy own entrance from outside.
Very clean and a full kitchen although we didn't use it made the space more open and homelike.
- June (9/5): Very good clean, well appointed property. Would recommend for 2 people. - Great location, very quiet, near to everywhere we wanted to go.p Parking was requested on the road or in a close car park when there was a driveway outside. Not really big enough for 4.
- Prabhakar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melanie (9/5): Superb - Sharon the host was very friendly and gave a good welcome. The apartment was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully furnished, the shower and kitchen facilities were very good and it was nicely decorated. The location was a short step from the town centre and convenient for the Great Glen Way for walking. Views of the hills from the apartment which was nice, and located close to the lochside. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, with gratitude..... I can't fault the accomodation, but perhaps a microwave might be useful for the kitchen for some residents?
- Chris (10/5): Beautiful little place perfect for 1 or 2 nights stay - Beautiful property ideal for our stay Everything was ideal
- Natalie (10/5): Quiet and comfortable apartment - Clean, comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed for a few days in Fort William! Our hosts were incredibly kind and even accommodated a last minute request (sorry!) for extra linens for the sofa bed. Much appreciated, would stay again.
- Wolfram (10/5): very nice place to stay - even for multiple days - very nice and tidy place with a perfect kitchen, bathroom and living room all good
- Carol (10/5): Exceptional - Location and set up
- Holly (9/5): Superb -
- Alexander (10/5): Perfectly quaint - Beautiful stay, had everything you need to be self sufficient.
Super quiet and lovely street.
Great location to walk to Jacobite train station.
- Branwen (7/5): Good -
- Jamie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (9/5): Great base for exploring Fort William - Spotlessly clean, comfortable two room apartment plus ensuite toilet and shower. Excellent location just 10 minutes from large supermarket, bus and train station plus town centre. On the other side, also not far from walks toward Caol, Neptune's Staircase and the Great Glen. You can walk to Ben Nevis from here. Loved the coffee machine and pint of milk in fridge. Well insulated against the inclement FW weather. Minor quibbles: lack of cupboard space to put food, space for clothes and table space - there was only a breakfast bar type table so very little table space. Also kitchen counter was very small. I got round all these by moving stuff around and using the kitchen hob as a work surface. Would have included instructions for the Tassimo but looked it up online. So no deal breakers and would come again.
