• Kristin K98 (10/5): - Die beste Unterkunft dieser Art, die wir je gebucht haben. Das lag vor allem an dem Armband, mit dem man die Türen öffnen konnte. Dieses hatte man immer parat und brauchte keine nervige App um die Türen zu öffnen. Der Pod und das Badezimmer waren sauber. Im Pod konnte man dann per App, die für diesen Zweck wiederum gut war, viele Einstellungen treffen. Außerdem war der Pod wirklich gut schallgedämmt. Wir mochten das Konzept der Unterkunft und fanden auch den Aufenthaltbereich schön gestaltet.

• De Marco (10/5): - This was our first experience with City Hub. Staff was kind and welcoming, helping us with check in and informing where we could find parking. Facilities were immaculate and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. There was honestly not one thing we didnt like. City Hub was exactly what we needed for a quick overnight stay in Reykjavik.
• Ionut Munteanu (9/5): Great human services, generally good accommodation - Very nice "budget" accommodation. Super nice hosts that put up with my craziness. They helped me out with my super late check in, they were super nice to keep my medicine that needed some special conditions in their private fridge and they also have lockers for your luggage so you can store them either if you arrive early or leave later after check-in free of charge. The facilities were super clean even though the bathroom was shared, and very cozy. They have a nice hang out area with a variety of drinks if you want to get something before you go out or whenever you get back. The location is very good. It is literally downtown and it was between 3-20 mins walking distance of everything I was interested in, like all of downtown with loads of restaurants, shops, monuments etc, close to tours pickup locations, and fairly close to old harbour where there are quite a few attractions. When I got there, my room ventilation was stuck on 100% and it was super cold in the room for me especially given the fact I was recovering from a cold. It was well after midnight and the host was very friendly and she tried to stop it several times but it was malfunctioning. Eventually she gave me an electrical heater and it seemed like it was doing the trick but the following morning I woke up very much worse. The following day the manager came and they moved me, and in hindsight I appreciate their effort, but probably they should've moved me that very night. For a budget accommodation I would still say the price is a bit high, given the fact the rooms (hubs) are very small especially for 2 people and the bathroom is shared, and if you book a hotel room well in advance, which is more spacious and it has its own bathroom, you might get away with just a 20-30% mark-up.

Inte mkt att klaga på, ända jag kan komma på är att ventilationen låter ganska mkt, men beroende på hur man ser på det, så kan man ju tänka som så att det INTE blir "innestängd/dålig luft" och det är ju toppen i små utrymmen.

The space itself is clean and accessible. The rooms are perfect size for a solo traveler like me. The lightning in the rooms are cool as well. At times I felt like I was in a Wong Kar-wai. Staff is nice and helpful, accessories are sufficient, location is perfect. For someone that needed a place to sleep for a few days with little time in advance, CityHub totally saved me. Very good value for the price. Hope I get to enjoy it again.

The air circulation is solted out by air conditioning, which is not the most comfortable (especially, when you have cough😀). Also the breakfast is not worth extra money, I recommend bring your own.

• Cristiano (10/5): - Sostanzialmente si tratta di un ostello a capsule, ma queste non includono soltanto il letto (comunque molto grande), ma anche un'anticamera dove si possono riporre bagagli ed effetti personali (che dunque non devono essere messi nei soliti armadietti, lontano magari da dove si dorme). Le zone comuni sono estremamente funzionali e arredate con grande gusto. Perfetto anche il check in autonomo e il braccialetto che serve per entrare sia nei dormitori che nella capsula. Bagni spaziosi e pulitissimi con grande privacy nelle docce. Posizone centralissima e prezzo che, per l'Islanda, è basso. Tutto perfetto

La possibilité de manger son propre repas dans l’espace commun avec vaisselle, micro onde etc. La possibilité d’acheter des boissons néanmoins. La sympathie du personnel. Le jacuzzi. La propreté . Le côté fun de l’hôtel. Chambre forcément petite , c’est le concept . Réveillée à 2 h du matin par les voisins d’en dessous mais globalement en avril, l’hôtel était très très calme. • Anne (10/5): I would stay again, and will! - The location, the set up, the comfort, and the friendly vibe. Of course the staff were the highlight…they were exceptional! The bathrooms could be improved by ensuring water doesn’t run out under the doors of the shower stalls, flooding into the main bathroom. Also the sink counters get so wet…people don’t think to dry them. Put up some signs so people are more mindful about cleaning up after themselves (in the kitchen and the bathrooms) and provide a squidgy by the sinks so people can push the water on the counters into the sinks. I know that you don’t want to be prescriptive, but I think signs are important as guests should understand that they are part of a community where everyone contributes.

• HIGUCHI (8/5): 便利でオシャレでした！ - 便利な街中にあって、24時間対応フロントなのでトレッキングで遅くなったりオーロラを見に夜中出入りするのにも便利でした。ベッド自体は快適です。また、内装がとてもモダンでかわいいのでテンション上がります。ロビーの居心地も良いですがキッチンはやや狭いのでお湯を使う程度以上の自炊はあまり現実的ではないです。 海外旅行という量の荷物を整理するには部屋の中が狭すぎました。冷蔵庫の中もややいっぱい気味でした。明日自分で食べようと思っていた常温で3日放置してしまったSkyrを誰かに食べられてしまいました...笑。

Surprisingly very quiet, which resulted in us sleeping in later than expected. Honestly no complaints. Would definitely stay here again. • Anne (7/5): It’s a great concept and with a little tweaking, will be perfect for any traveller who is in need of a comfortable place - The staff were wonderful! Always helpful and accommodating. The location was great. The concept is terrific. Very clean, very welcoming. The exposure of the women’s 2nd floor bathroom. Don’t need a large window…bathrooms are typically private for a reason. Also the door wouldn’t close so women are always exposed directly to the men’s washroom. That’s exposure on both sides and it’s not comfortable. Air circulation in the bottom capsules was not particularly good. I found it hot. And the Bluetooth connections were iffy. When I would go in through the app to adjust the lighting I’d have to re-sign in with my confirmation number. However, I wasn’t given my confirmation number in my receipt so I’d have to keep asking at the desk. Fortunately, you have absolutely extraordinary staff and they were always very helpful. One last point, I think you should have additional hooks on the walls in the capsules. Here in Iceland people have a lot of clothes and it’s so much more convenient if they have places to hang them. The hangers don’t come off, that’s understandable. Nor do they allow for someone to hang up their pants. And there’s no hook to hang their pants on. All easy to fix, and that would make my stay perfect again, High, compliments to the staff… I can’t say that enough!

Des cheveux sur le sol à toute heure. Je n'ai jamais vu personne nettoyer la salle de bain. Les lavabos sont mal conçus et l'eau coule partout sur le sol.. Vraiment dommage pour un établissement comme celui-ci. J'ai testé le cityhub de Copenhague et la salle de bains commune était au contraire très propre.

Gut ausgestattet Gemeinschaftsküche und ein schöner hottub auf dem Dach. Das "Zimmer" hätte etwas größer sein können, um das Gepäck besser verstauen und sich trotzdem noch bewegen zu können.

Breakfast is simple (yogurt, granola, juice, pastry) and I love the free coffee with it. The hangout area is great to sit and relax when you have some time to kill or wind down at the end of the day. This is nitpicking - but thicker pillows would have been great. Shared bathrooms means you can’t control how other guests leave it, but it’s cleaned daily so it never gets out of hand.

I didn't just because they don't have a kitchen area with a stove. But my goodness! The hot tub, the staff, the room!!! All was gorgeous 😍 Just need a stove so you can properly cook.

It's really tough to put 2 people in a capsule. There wasn't a good way for both of us to be standing and open the door. It's good for 1 or 2 nights because I don't think it would be good for a longer stay.
