• Clarke (9/5): A little Aitutaki gem - 2bedroom/4 peeps Dylan the manager was a very friendly, helpful and welcoming young man. Location was fabulous...water steps away. A swimming pool also. Close to 2 cafes...Koru & Boatshed. A 3-5min walk away from the Vaka Cruise berth. Air Con in the main bedroom...YAY. Pickup and drop off from/to airport. Car hire also from there. After 9 days in Raro, Aitutaki was 3 days of mostly relaxing on the sun loungers under the coconut palms (strategically placed...lol), swimming and cooling off and that was everything we needed. Would absolutely recommend for those looking for a more budget friendly accommodation. Not flash but equipped with everything required. Clean and well stocked kitchen. Both bath and beach towels supplied. Friendly roosters and hens that didn't seem to crow at night. There was nothing we didn't like. All our particular needs were met.

• Sabine Marie (9/5): Great with kayaks to borrow to explore the lagoon. Very friendly and helpful staff! - Best location on Aitutaki if you want to spend time in the water! Decent food options nearby. That also means it is a bit far away from shops and the towns on the island.

Na voljo so ležalniki, kajak....., v bližini je restavracija, ki nudi zajtrk, ob večerih je pa v bližini bar, kjer se dogaja-karaoke, glasba. Vse mi je bilo všeč...., dobila sem to, kar sem pričakovala glede na ceno.

Walking distance to Koru cafe. The staff were lovely. The cabins were clean and we loved the shower (outside) we will stay again next year

We had nor aircon but we did have the budget rooms, the windows screens helped as we could leave our windows open.

• Marcia (9/5): - Our bungalow faced the most beautiful lagoon in the world! The beach out front had palm trees, sun lounges, and warm turquoise water just outside the door. We could float like a lazy river with the tide and walk back. It was just great for us. The kitchenette was very basic, but it was difficult to get food to cook anyway so it didn't matter. The room was cleaned only every few days, but again that was ok. They would have done it every day if we asked I think.

Single room very hot very plain, with nothing welcoming other the brochures, compared with my other family members couriers. A fan, no air conditioning (really requires this) Tired rooms - refreshing curtains, a little paint up lift would make the difference - if the rooms look consistent as with shell hankies and pictures - gives a warm welcome and extra touch.

• Bendi (6/5): - The setting was lovely, with outside seating loungers available plus kayaks. Grounds were pristine, clean. The chalets were sad. Old, just minimalistic. We were in a group of three ours being the " honeymoon suite" in comparison to theirs. Walls paper thin, as we could hear people talking, yelling inside their hut from ours. Our wall plug was dangerous and faulty. We kept tripping the fuse with the toaster. We didn't want the Ritz but honestly have to say....needs a serious upgrade and we'd come back.
• Nereida (9/5): Slice of heaven - The location was excellent, with plenty of kayaks and snorkelling equipment for guests, as well as a rental scooter available. It was also quiet and close to a good restaurant and a bar. We stayed at the pool room. The accommodation was basic, but it was more than enough for our needs.
• Anna (9/5): Highly recommend this place! - Loved the "outdoor shower", the view from our door, the free use of kayaks and paddleboards. Dylan and all the staff were welcoming and helpful. The transfers to and from the Airport made life so easy for us too. There were some ants in the kitchen but it is the tropics!

• Gillian (8/5): Nice location, owner can be rude sadly. - The location is wonderful and Dylan was excellent helping pre arrival. Once you arrive it isn't so helpful sadly. It will perhaps be better once the current owner retires.The office is rarely open and if you even ask for an extra glass to clean your teeth the answer is no! It seemed so petty. Room servicing while there (that they say is included) is non existent. I asked for a towel as they hadn't serviced the room and the owner was very rude to me! (Unacceptable really but I let it go,. I think the person who is supposed to do rooms is the daughter and she is clearly lazy!) Apparently the owner wants to retire. It's time! Dylan is absolutely wonderful and things should improve once he takes over, provided he is left to it and the rude grumpy current owner (his father) doesn't interfere! It's a beautiful spot and with good energy from those running it could be much improved. A whale watching operation is run from the same office, relations I believe, but trying to find them to speak to was actually impossible! That seemed odd also. Some nice restaurants nearby.

Bathroom shower door needed fixing, barfridge old and rusty and bikes expensive to hire, given old ones for cheaper but they had problems. Owners were not accommodating when we tried to book a day trip. Refused to make a phonecall. We had to physically walk over to the other place to book.
• Ros (9/5): Stunning location, comfy room and quiet. - Absolutely superb location, had use of kayaks whilst there. Great barbecue on our verandah and very comfy room. There was some music from the resort on the private island across from us, but it was generally very good.

Dylan and the team were so accommodating to our daily requests - sometimes very last minute, but catered to our needs. loved that the pool was jus outside our door and then the lagoon was steps away- our room was perfect for what we needed. it's not even a dislike but more of - a thing... you will need a car of uiu want to go into the main town and see the whole island.... we didn't mind we hired a car and got to see the island.

• Frances (10/5): Ranginuis Retreat to paradise! - The location of Ranginuis is just stunning, the view never got old and access to the lagoon couldn't have been easier. This place was a paradise, and the atmosphere and simplicity of the place was just easy and relaxing.

It’s a bit secluded on the other side of the airport but if the weather had been nicer that wouldn’t have been an issue. There were a couple of restaurants/bars you could walk to which was good.

• Surface (9/5): Amazing beautiful location and super friendly staff. - Beautiful location, super friendly and helpful staff, cabin had all the amenities I needed for a great stay. Loud guests partying on the beach until after midnight was super annoying since they were 20 feet from my bedroom. When asked to tone it down, they just got louder. Since no staff is on-site at night, there really wasn’t any way to address their behavior.
