Besonders hervorzuheben ist die herzliche Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter, die unseren Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht hat. Absolut empfehlenswert!

• Wouter (8/5): Great hotel, must stay! - Location is awesome, room was spacious and clean. The view of the lake from the balcony was amazing. Nice bathroom! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Noisy bathroom fan. Unpleasant email about check-in times, not very friendly.

• PEI YI (5/5): - 離公車站、搭船的地方很近。 感覺被騙了，湖景雙人房但實際上要走出去陽台才能看到湖，不是直接面對湖，我們主要面對是山景。 雖然地理位子離愛的迫降湖很近，但我覺得還是不要住這邊比較好，交通老實說沒有很方便，雖然離公車和船很近，但必須非常注意時間。 早餐很簡陋，沒什麼選擇。 原本只是想住一晚湖景看看，但我覺得以這個價格可以有更好的選擇，整體而言CP值很低。

• Dario & Sabrina (10/5): Un endroit splendide qui permet de rêver les yeux ouverts - De qu'on rentre ça sent bon! Tout est propre et à sa place. La vue dans notre chambre vue lac (la n° 24) était splendide tout au long de la journée, le soir et au lever du jour. La chambre avec trois grande fenêtres nous a fait croire d'être sur un magnifique bateau de croisière. Le soir nous avons mangé la meilleure chasse de notre vie dans le restaurant très intimiste. Le petit déjeuner était à la hauteur de l'hôtel

• Sandra (9/5): tolle Lage und schönes Zimmer, fast perfekt - Das Zimmer, die Lage, der Kellner am ersten Abend war super nett und zuvorkommend und kinderlieb. Der Kellner am zweiten Tag, am 1. August, es war ein kleiner etwas breit gebauter Schweizer. Er war gar nicht nett, er hat sich ganz offensichtlich mit anderen Gästen über ausländische Touristen lustig gemacht und hatte überhaupt keinen guten Umgang mit den Gästen. Sehr schade, das einzige was uns gestört hat.

• Tanya (10/5): Lovely hotel on the lake with breathtaking views - The welcome from Nicole was brilliant, really attentive and told us everything we needed, also helped us with a Swiss plug adapter! The hotel itself is in a prime position, right on the lake, we were in room 20 and the view from the balcony was amazing. The room itself was modern and of an excellent standard. Beautifully decorated with very tasteful en-suite. There is free parking for guests which made unloading a dream. Breakfast was lovely, a decent selection of breads and cereals with ham and cheese etc. We ate there once and this was also lovely food. This is Switzerland so don’t expect anything to be cheap, but we were happy with the value for money. We could not fault anything. We loved everything.
• Tina (8/5): Beautiful location - The location is stunning. Our room was facing the lake. Room was clean and storage was good. Lovely bathroom. Breakfast was fine, waiting staff at breakfast nice. Waiter who served us our evening meal was nice too. Free parking right outside was great. Iseltwald is stunning, but very quiet - everything seemed to shut at 9pm. However, this suited us as our days were very busy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and are considering returning next year. Room a little dated but I believe they're in the process of being renovated. Waiter at lunch was rather brusque with us and quite rude with other guests. Food at lunch and dinner was mediocre and pricey for an area that is generally expensive. We only ate there the first night and went elsewhere other nights.
• Giuseppe (7/5): Nice location and food, needs modernisation. - Location and clean spacious room Some aspects of the room seemed a little dated, ie the wooden headboard etc. Equally some of the furniture around the hotel ie the old dated piano. Feels like it needs modernising. Restaurant included needs a freshen up. The young waiter during dinner was not very accommodating or pleasant which was disappointing, especially after reading the family details or ethos within the black folder in the room. I hope my comments will be taken as constructive.
• Imtiaz (1/5): REAL SIDE OF STRANDHOTEL - Only location Bad behaviour and attitude by hotel staff specifically reception attendants with zero courtesy and respect for the family and children's. All they care about is their money and nothing else, really disappointed in them for running our stay and the culture of swiss people.

• Tehsin (10/5): Beautiful views - An absolutely stunning location. We had the double room with lake view which had a lovely terrace and beautiful view. The hotel in conveniently located next to the bus and ferry stop. We travelled around Switzerland and this was the highlight of our trip due to the location and views from the room. Worth the price. I called reception at 10pm to request extra pillows as commonly pillows in Switzerland are quite soft. The staff answering the call was a little rude and replied with annoyance that they were closed. It wouldn't hurt to say it politely.

The staff is kind and the breakfast is good. Free parking is available which is really practical. The pillow was a bit too soft for our liking

• Harsha (10/5): Exceptional - The views, the quite place, the cow bells, the beauty. it can't be described. this was the last part of our trip, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in interlaken ost and the hotel. the brienz boat station is in the hotel itself, so not to worry of going anywhere.

• Kim (7/5): Great location for great view, but do not expect friendly staff - The hotel is well located, with a great view on the lake and mountain! The staff at the reception (the man) is not really welcoming nor friendly…for a first impression of the hotel, it is surely not the best!

• Michael (6/5): Great place to stay (if you don’t mind having no air conditioning) amd avoid talking to Nicole “Receptionist “. - Perfect location! Easy access to the Marina and Bus stop. Breakfast was great! Bathroom was clean and looks new. No air conditioning and the pillows were bad. In addition, I had a very bad experience with the receptionist named “Nicole”. I asked her politely with one question about the boat schedule and she gave me an attitude. She made me feel I was disturbing her. She wasn’t doing anything at that moment. Hopefully the owner of this hotel (family-owned) will see this review as this is totally unacceptable. Nicole definitely needs some customer service training.

• Mary (9/5): A Serene Retreat by Lake Brienz - The Strandhotel Restaurant Iseltwald is a charming retreat on the shores of Lake Brienz, offering stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere in the Bernese Oberland . The hotel features a beautiful lakeside terrace where we enjoyed delicious meals with the local lake pike being a highlight amongst the fish dishes. Our room at the top had a gorgeous lake view and a small balcony under the roof The hotel is perfect for a peaceful getaway with its excellent dining and picturesque setting. It was our second stay here and we are already looking forward to coming back again to Iseltwald The hotel staff are generally very polite but a little more attention to friendly customer service from the hotel owner would be welcome. We hope to come back many times as the hotel is truly one of our favourites so we look forward to experiencing another enjoyable and entertaining stay next year

• Khh (9/5): Wonderful stay on Lake Brienz! - Balcony with view of the lake was fantastic. Room was clean and bathroom was modern. Waking up to the breathtaking view and having a drink on the balcony in the evening gave us some unforgettable moments. Breakfast could be better and coffee did not taste good at all. There is an extra charge if you want cooked eggs or bacon. We've stayed in hundreds of hotels and have never seen this. Mattress was not so comfortable.

• Matthew (10/5): It was an amazing great stay. - Breakfast was very basic but that’s seems to be a common theme in Switzerland. We were upgraded to a corner room, where we had amazing beautiful views. It was a lovely little hotel and will definitely be coming back again.

• Shirley (7/5): Good - An elderly staff was very rude when she saw me walking around the lobby. She must have thought I wasn't a guest at the hotel and blurted out a very condescending "CAN I HELP YOU?" when I was exploring the lobby. Quite unnecessary, and her attitude was just plain unpleasant.

• Charlene (10/5): Quiet, Quaint, Stunning Views overlooking the lake. - The Views from the Hotel Strand were magnificant. Beautiful setting, nice and quiet with a cute little balcony to enjoy the lake views. The room was better then the pictures. Cozy with complimentary tea and coffee. The beds are firm like most of Europe which is what we like. The morning buffet was delicious with large variety. The staff was so kind and helpful. From here we explore Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, and Giessbach water fall. Definitely will be back to explore and hike in this area of Switzerland again. We were here beginning of May when all the spring wild flowers are in bloom.

They even prepared a very special breakfast for me and my husband on our last day there. I highly recommend Strandhotel, best hotel in Iseltwald! Just few steps away from the kdrama Crash Landing On You's landing stage! Hope to be back!
• Sheila (9/5): Overall, it was still a nice place if you want to be in Iseltwald. The staff were helpful. Bus stop is not far away - Location: it’s perfect. It was fantastic waking up in the morning seeing the beautiful sight of the lake. Since we stayed in the hotel when the weather was really hot, we had difficulty sleeping at night.
