- Stuart (8/5): -
- Aafke (10/5): Beautiful tranquil location, super close to eurotunnel and lovely local pub to have a meal and drink - Great little breakfast hamper as we had to leave early!
- Jane (10/5): Just the job - The location is perfect for the Tunnel but the setting is rural and peaceful
- Jon (9/5): -
- Paul (10/5): Fantastic hosts and location for onward travel to France or return to UK - Absolutely fantastic hosts and location particularly if you have a pet with you (dog, cat, or even horse).
Only 2 minutes from Le Shuttle check-in. Breakfast is brought to your room at a pre agreed time. Even cater for dietary needs our being vegan. Would highly recommend Beachborough and have done so to friends. Everything is perfect
- Mark (10/5): - Ideal location for the tunnel, nice clean rooms, Everything was fine nothing to dislike.
- Peter (8/5): -
- Robin (10/5): Great stay. - Quiet , convenient and value for money.
Very dog friendly.
Great local pub with fantastic food. Nothing
- Chloé (8/5): Great! - Calm environment, close to channel tunnel
- angelique (8/5): Fantastisch. - Goed ontbijt. Warme croissants.
- Barry (8/5): -
- Anthony (10/5): Excellent for pets and train - The room was very clean, brilliant location for Le Shuttle, super friendly and pet friendly
- Lea Maria (9/5): Perfekte Lage - Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Perfekte Lage: nur wenige Minuten vom Eurotunnel entfernt.
- Silvia (8/5): A lovely place in the country near the ferry terminal - We booked an overnight stay at Beachborough Park as we wanted to catch the ferry in Dover in the morning and were pleasantly surprised by our choice. The location was lovely, the rooms were located in former horse stables and very well done and we were able to take our breakfast in the garden in front of our room. :) The bed was definitely too short and narrow for us, but as it was only for one night, we didn't really mind.

- Nicola (6/5): - Rob was great in communicating with us prior to our arrival but sadly, we didn’t get to meet him on check in.
The location was fantastic, so close to the Eurotunnel, (it’s only 5 minutes away) and it was lovely to have a pleasant walk on our doorstep for the dogs.
The walk is undulating though, so not great if you have mobility issues.
There’s a nice green in front of the rooms where you can sit with your dogs.
We were a bit disappointed we couldn’t throw the ball and let our dog off the lead if there was no one else using the garden though. As soon as we entered the room we were hit with the extra strong, smell coming from the plug in air freshener as well as the strong detergent, softener on the bedding. Even after removing the air freshener and leaving the door open for 3 hrs the smell would not dissipate. I couldn’t sleep because of this - not ideal before a long journey- and we were both coughing and sneezing the following morning.
If you have sensitive lungs like me, beware.
It’s a pity people try to mask natural odours with chemicals now- it’s not healthy. 😐
I also found the pillows too hard.
- ilse (7/5): vlak bij de trein, een prima plek voor 1 nacht, hele vriendelijke host - the location was beautifull. no breakfast room, or room where we could sit with both couples.

- Celeste (10/5): Exceptional accommodation located minutes from Le Shuttle. - Everything! It’s a small, tranquil oasis set amidst beautiful surroundings.
Rob and staff were brilliant and the continental breakfast delivered to door was superb. Nothing. Eveything was perfect.
- R (8/5): Convenient, comfy, clean with great host - Close to Channel Tunnel but quiet and fewer guests; dog friendly; lovely host. Not applicable.
- Ruby (10/5): - Loved it all, Nothing
- Peter (10/5): Highly recommended, would be very happy to book again. - Great location, very quiet and set in lovely grounds. Property is a beautiful stables conversion with a walled garden area, great for 4 legged guests. Very handy for Eurotunnel travellers.
Breakfast was exceptional, definitely 5*. Nothing, it was perfect.
- nikola (9/5): - Beautiful location within minutes of tunnel. Comfortable room in renovated cottage. Dog enjoyed safe walks and we enjoyed a nearby pub. Will return.
- Tony (10/5): Perfect - Everything Nothing
- Carla (10/5): -
- Dnamo (8/5): - Lovely welcome with everything we needed. Breakfast bag was lovely too. Nothing really, may be as time moves on a little refresh of the rooms is required.
- Angie (10/5): One night stay for our trip back from France, lovely staff, great breakfast brought to our room and a lovely pub in the - Great location for the shuttle Nothing not to like

I liked the fact the owner would check in with and confirm everything before arrival.
Absolutely amazing location. The room is very clean and well presented. Breakfast bought to your room and very well presented, the fresh coffee is a welcomed surprise.
My partner had an amazing experience and would highly recommend the stay.
- Ian (10/5): Perfect pre tunnel place to stay especially with pets - Stayed here before with my dogs before a long drive to Spain through the tunnel, perfect location and great for the dogs. Can’t recommend enough Location, accommodation and the host
- Sheila (9/5): Great place for North Downs Way or Channel Ferry - Good communication before hand and excellant support/ communication during stay. Great host! Lovely breakfast tray, even came with a creme egg for Easter Sunday. Room was clean and sockets had USB ports which is always helpful. Also very dog friendly!! Can't think of anything...would have liked more milk on breakfast tray, but if we had asked for more, I can guarantee we would have got it!
- Erika (9/5): -
- Anthony (9/5): There was breakfast included but because I was leaving early in the morning I got a breakfast bag to take away with me w - Very close to le shuttle which made it a short drive the next morning on my journey into France None
- Troy (10/5): - Close proximity to Channel crossing Nothing
- Dominic (10/5): - Rob was fantastic, just as last time clean comfortable and quiet plus its a 2 minute ride to the tunnel..... Absolutely nothing.......
- Haydn waters (10/5): perfect - perfect stay as before. will always use this place . perfect location to the Tunnel, 4-6 minutes away from it.
great pub down the road for an evening meal too. nothing
- Dale (10/5): - Absolutely stunning location; very convenient for 'Le Shuttle'.
Excellent breakfast and it was very nice and quiet; ideal for our dog.
- Markus (8/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): - Had a lovely over night stay here
Booked because close to euro tunnel and it was perfect
Hosts were very helpful and friendly
Highly recommend and would stop again
- Dorothee (10/5): - Very welcoming and helpful host.
Warm and cosy room with tea and coffee making facilities.
Comfortable bed.
Within 5 minutes from LeShuttle Terminal.
Good information in room about places to visit in the area.
Comprehensive handbook of info about the accommodation and other useful info.
Free parking.
Interesting history of Beachborough Park to read in the handbook
- David (10/5): - Fantastic place to stay when using the Tunnel. We have stayed here multiple times, and always found it very comfortable.
The owners provided us with take away breakfasts, one being a gluten free option.
Our dogs are totally comfortable staying here, in fact one of them remembered the room we stayed in last year and led us straight to it.
The great advantage is that you are literally 5 minutes from the Tunnel.
- Stephan (10/5): - Very clean and friendly staff
- Charlotte (10/5): Perfect stop over for the tunnel. Friendly and accommodating host. Clean and well equipped facilities. - Welcoming host. Great location. Clean and well furnished. Tranquil surroundings. Nothing
- Toni (10/5): Excellent place to stay - The surroundings are excellent. The location is beautiful and away from the road with some lovely walks. Rob the host is excellent and can not do enough for you. The weather but that's no fault of the host.
- Eyre Hover (9/5): - Very friendly and accommodating staff, convenient location for the Eurotunnel, comfortable and quiet.
- glitterbitz (10/5): Beautiful settings! - Beautiful location and amazingly clean!
- Susan (10/5): Perfect - Lovely hosts, beautiful place and fog friendly, very comfortable, fab breakfast which included treats for our dog, perfect location for the Tunnel. Beachborough ticks all our boxes. Highly recommended. There are no issues.
- jeanette (10/5): Well worth the price - Host was very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Venue was peaceful, clean and comfortable. Horses was an added extra. You really need a car or taxi to get about
- Neal (10/5): Brilliant, would love to stay again! - Brilliant location, quaint rooms and wonderful breakfast delivered to your door!
- Amy (10/5): - Absolutely fantastic if you have dogs and are crossing the tunnel. The courtyard at the front of the property is brilliant for letting the dogs have one last outside before bed. The field to the side of the property, you can walk your dogs off lead, and is of a really hood size. The staff were amazingly friendly and informative. The breakfast takeaway was a brilliant idea and was eaten before crossing the channel. Close by 3 mins away there is a dog friendly pub where you can eat as well. It was fantastic, so nothing.
- McCarthy (10/5): Great secure stay near Dover. Perfect for travelling with a roof box & dogs. - Such lovely people to deal with. Our ferry was really delayed and Rob was so kind and understanding. A very warm, cosy, clean and comfortable stay in a lovely, secure rural setting near Dover, which was ideal for the security of our car with roof box and travelling with dogs. We’ll be back!
- Dorothée (10/5): Heel goed! Perfecte stop op de route North Down Way - De rustige ligging.
Heel vriendelijke ontvangst van Rob.
Lekker ontbijt. Alles was tiptop in orde
- stephen (10/5): Brilliant 2 minutes to Le Shuttle.. - bag for breakfast all good had very early Tunnel crossing. Nothing could be better!
- Natalie (10/5): Very welcoming, very peaceful, very cozy - Very cozy and relaxing, very clean and tidy. Will definitely stay again! Nothing. All great.
- william (9/5): Lovely, convenient, reasonable priced, well run and maintained accommodation. - Very pleased with our brief stay here- the host was there when we arrived to show us round and everything was well looked after and clean. Also very helpfully provided us with a packed breakfast as we were leaving early for the eurotunnel. Could not have been an easier place do the Eurotunnel crossing if you have an early start! Nothing, it exceeded my expectations.
- Jessica (10/5): Fantastic stay! - Lovely location!
Great host & very clean.
- Anthony (10/5): We’ll be back! - Location, location, location The weather!!! It rained!!!
- Jackie (10/5): - Very nice room, and charged our EV overnight. We used to stay at the premier inn, this is a nice step up for the money. Also, a takeaway breakfast included for those with an early channel tunnel start. We will use Beachborough in future Nothing. Very convenient.
- Nigel (8/5): Everything you need for a stopover before a cross Channel departure - Very convenient location for LeShuttle travel, good directions and easy to find. Ample on site parking. Very dog friendly. Very comfortable bed and nicely appointed bathroom.
- Philippe (10/5): Perfekt - The owners are very friendly and you get lots of information right away. It's right next to Le Shuttle. Perfect for your first night's stay. Very charming and typically British. We highly recommend it.
- Martin (8/5): -
- Ed (8/5): -
- Calum (10/5): - Great location so close to the Eurotunnel. Fantastically friendly and helpful staff. Can’t rate highly enough. Nothing.
- Gadd (8/5): Great value and location for overnight stay - The main reason for booking this property was the location to Le Shuttle and the fact it was dog friendly.
The host was lovely and was extremely helpful and made sure we had our continental breakfast ready for our early start for Le shuttle.
It was a great little place and perfect for a one night stay on our route. This is not really a dislike, more an observation.
We travelled with our dog and the weather weas quite miserable and wet. I put a towel down when we first walked in so he could stand on it while I cleaned and dried his feet, but I did wonder if every dog owner did the same. I know space is limited but as you are walking straight into the bedroom its difficult to get in with the dog, luggage etc and not get the carpet and room area wet/muddy.
- Martine (9/5): A perfect stop over for Euro Tunnel - Very quiet and warm charming rustic room. Away from main road and yet 15mn from Euro Tunnel. Take away breakfast as we needed to leave early. Lovely pub for evening meal 5mn away by car. N/A
- Rui (8/5): - The cosy old rural environment and the sympathy.
It`s also very quiet. Nothing in particular
- Edgar (6/5): -
- John (8/5): Good, clean place to stop before the tunnel - Its really close to the tunnel. The room is basic and functional. Nice grounds for dog walking and local pubs for food.
- Katie (10/5): Fabulous stay on route to Disneyland Paris! - Absolutely perfect just what we wanted. Rob was very helpful and couldn't have done more to make us welcome!
It was a flying visit on route to Disneyland Paris.
Lovely comfy clean rooms and perfect for our family.
- Jeremy (10/5): Excellent stay in a beautiful and peaceful area - Beautiful place, beautiful area
Rob is the nicest host ever!
We had a great time for a family gathering
- Michael (10/5): -
- Andrew (7/5): Quaint, basic, ideal location for layover before the Tunnel - Location perfect for what was needed - the Tunnel. The place generally is exactly what you expect, it's pretty, small, basic, but perfectly decent for an overnight stay before an early morning departure overseas. Breakfast was poor, but given the circumstances there was probably not much more that could have been done, and the effort was appreciated.
- Mark (7/5): - Great location - 3 minutes from the euro tunnel Creaky bed
- Jean (10/5): So lovely- we’ll be back! - Everything- 7 minutes drive from Le Shuttle, the setting, the rooms, the staff, the lovely breakfast :-) I’d only booked for one night!!! :-(
- Sue (8/5): -
- J D (8/5): - Wanted an overnight prior to catching Chunnel next morning
Cracking location for that
- nicola (8/5): - Very pleasant host
Accomodating with our late arrival and early departure.
Good breakfast bag
- Melvyn (7/5): -
- Claire (4/5): A disappointing stay - The staff were friendly The lack of transparency about its proximity to le shuttle given the roadworks preventing us from joining the motorway and having to do a 25 minute diversion
The bed was uncomfortable and the shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold
