• Cristopher (10/5): Foreigner ok. - It’s clean. Not a local Nepalese hotel, but build for foreigners, per se. between the upper asura cave and lower cave. Both not too bad of walk. I got the room with a balcony. Very nice to hang out in the morning. Dirt road up to the hotel, but it’s quite ok. Restaurants are near.
• Gabriella (10/5): - Excellent breakfast. Staff very gentle and helpful. The rooms are big and spacious, very clean. The shared bathroom is always kept very clean. Amazing stay, definitely recommend it. And the location is the best. There is nothing I didn't like.

• Poli (8/5): Almost perfect - This place is cosy and beautiful. The rooms are really nice. It has a very clean, big and good-equipped kitchen and a terrace with Pharping View. In reality this place looks better than in photos. No hot water :( I was here in May 2025 This is the only, but very important thing that was missed...I hope the owners will install the heating system one day
• J (9/5): Most friendly staff. Fun place. - Breakfast was very good. New mattresses arrived during my stay of 3 weeks. They are not the cushy type some people like, they are Asian style, good for my back, more flat than curved.

• Anna (5/5): A paradise for Spitum lovers - The owner invited me for breakfast, which I thought was really lovely. I met really nice people from Russia and the USA there, which was also really pleasant Price transparency is not good. It is reasonable to include this fabulous kitchen in the price, the facilities and view are top. But to be told only after arrival that the use of the kitchen costs an extra $5 a day unnecessarily destroyed trust in the host. But what bothered me the most was the constant spitting from the terrace, from the windows. Really all the time. I found it really disgusting to be woken up by it, or to hear it before falling asleep or while sitting on the balcony.

• Katherine (9/5): Good stay. - We got the big King bedroom with a sofa and the room was big and comfortable. The view from the window is nice. It's cheap. The location is great. Also, the rooftop view is nice. The host was helpful in getting me a taxi when I left. It's a shared common bathroom outside in the hallway. There's no soap/shampoo and I had to ask for toilet paper. Also, it's not soundproof. You can hear the next door guests talking or doing other things. The bed is hard.

I found the beds to be very hard, and if people were smoking in the facility, the smoke would come into my room. I am very sensitive to this so if that does not bother you, it will not be a problem.

They were extremely kind and helpful and they make a good breakfast too for the price!The room was spacious and very clean! The bathroom was shared but just around the corner of the room and well equipped and big! It's situated in a perfect location! Great value for money! We'll come back for sure! The hot water out of the shower could be hotter.
• Per (10/5): Exceptional - We are very happy with our month-long stay at Pharping Homestay & Cafe. The location is excellent, close to the main street, but still far enough away from it not to be disturbed by the traffic. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious. A real bonus is the terrace on the top floor, with a nice view of the surroundings. We sat there every morning to have our breakfast in the sun. We highly recommend this place.

I found the staff super helpful and fun to be around. Breakfast option and coffee were excellent. I enjoyed the green open outlook. The location was central to many food options, caves and monasteries. Highly recommend and will definitely return

• Karishma (8/5): As a solo traveller I felt very physically safe and centrally located to all the shrines I wanted to visit - Great location. Very comfortable room. Felt very safe physically which as a solo traveller I greatly appreciated. The family who run the place are great. Very helpful. The booking said there’d be an attached bathroom in the room with balcony but there wasn’t. It was outside the room in the landing so that was a slight negative but I was assured that only I would use that bathroom which was honoured so overall not much to say I didn’t like

The booking process was straightforward, and the host promptly confirmed my reservation. Upon arrival, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were incredibly friendly and eager to assist with any queries. My room was cozy and clean, with comfortable bedding and charming local décor. The view from my window overlooked the lush, green hills, providing a tranquil and picturesque setting. The homestay offered delicious homemade meals that highlighted local flavors, and the communal dining experience was delightful. Additionally, the homestay provided guided tours of nearby attractions, which enriched my stay with cultural insights. Overall, my experience at Pharping Homestay was wonderful, and I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a peaceful and authentic village retreat.
• Denise (10/5): Exceptional - The whole place is very clean, I really appreciate how clean the bathroom is. The bedroom is spacious and bigger than I expected. had good night sleep and rested well. There is even a meditation room, kitchen, and terrace on upper floors so it will be great for longer stays. The homestay is also very close to restaurants and stores. Most of all, Haku and all the people working in the homestay are warm and friendly, thank you for everything. And if you walk back to the homestay at night, there are many fireflies along the way✨️
• Kseniya (10/5): Exceptional - This very new guesthouse with perfect location. There is walking distance to Vajrayogini Temple and Asura Cave. The room is big and absolutely clean. Owners are wonderful people, they are really take care abut guest. Will come back for sure!

• Lisbet (10/5): I spent 4 nights as part of my pilgrimage to Asura. Perfect place and location. - I had a very nice and spacy room with large windows and view. The place is quiet and perfect for relaxation, and still close to shops and restaurants. It is just next door to Asura Cave. I enjoyed the great hospitality of the owner/ the family at New Years Eve. My best recommendations.
