Guest (9/5): Soggiorno molto piacevole grazie alla collaborazione del padrone di casa. - Ho apprezzato molto la posizione nel quartiere Baluwatar in zona residenziale tranquilla che risulta più o meno equidistante da molte attrazioni turistiche cittadine, alcune delle quali ben raggiungibili anche a piedi in 30/50 minuti. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e grande disponibilità del padrone di casa Sunik sia per questioni pratiche/logistiche che per condividere un drink o una cena in amicizia. La mia sistemazione preferita è stata la camera doppia al piano terra con bagno privato con cucina adiacente. Ottima esperienza complessiva -Consigliato!
Mixter E (10/5): Middle of the city yet quiet, spacious, w kitchen & close 2 market, host kind, genuine - The host offers a hands-off approach, giving guests space and privacy and not micromanaging or being overly pushy with additional services the way some hotels do. The kitchen and close proximity to a huge supermarket meant that I was in control of my nutrition. Nights were quiet and restful and the place has class. It's basically a mansion. I would have liked to come home to some light and liveliness and other guests that were interested in visiting.

Julius (9/5): Really good - I had a great stay at this accommodation in Kathmandu! Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The host, Sunick, was incredibly helpful and always available—he went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Even my very late check-in at 5am was no problem at all! The location is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after exploring the city. The common area is spacious and has a really cool vibe, and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. Overall, the service was excellent. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kathmandu. It is also a good starting point to go tracking.

We especially loved having access to the whole house, where we could prepare our own breakfast and enjoy relaxing movie nights. The bed was incredibly comfy and we slept really well. The host was super kind, flexible, and helpful throughout our stay. We really appreciated being able to extend our visit. Also, the creative and clear graphics with house rules and explanations were a lovely touch and made everything easy to understand. Overall, a perfect stay – we would definitely come back and highly recommend it to others!

The host Sunik was super friendly and willing to help with all of our questions about things to do in Kathmandu as well as questions about our upcoming trek. It felt super homely, the room was clean and the overall vibe was great. I would definitely recommend staying here instead of any place near Thamel as it’s very busy and touristy. The location of Peakman was perfect as it was a 35 minute walk to Thamel. 5 minutes from a supermarket and there’s plenty of great restaurants in the neighbourhood. Long story short; great place! Definitely go 😊

Host was very friendly and helpful and even took us out on the night we arrived! Location is more residential than Thamel (yet still only half an hour walk away) which was great for cheaper food and a calmer time

Sue (10/5): Great stay - Located in a quiet area, yet a few minutes walk away from all kinds of shops and a huge supermarket. This house is very spacious and full of daylight. The kitchen is equipped to cook a good meal, also a blender. Filtered water available. The place is kept clean. I stayed in a single room and also the queen room. Both rooms were spacious. Clean bathroom with hot water. Towels provided. The host was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay. It felt very safe and peaceful. The host charges for luggage storage daily, while many other places keep the luggage for free while guests are away for trekking. We moved our belongings to another hostel before we left to trek.

Christian (10/5): Exceptional - Peakman is an affordable solution if you are in Kathmandu and want to stay close to the airport and in a safe residential area far from the chaos of the centre. The room and bathroom are spacious. Sunick is a great host, always responsive and available for any need. I would recommend thinking about some sort of heating in the room as it gets cold during the night and also to have the hot water checked in the bathroom.
Inna (10/5): Exceptional - Very good hotel. The house is fresh and spacious. The house is in a quiet place. The house is not expensive, so you will never hear the noise of the road. The rooms are fresh, the furniture is fresh, the walls are fresh, the mattress is comfortable, the bed linen is clean and not old, and the winter blanket is warm. The kitchen is spacious and fresh, equipped with dishes, which is a big plus! I cooked for myself twice a day and I always felt calm and comfortable. A two-minute walk from the house is a huge supermarket, which has a large selection of products. There are also many cafes nearby. I lived here comfortably for three weeks.

Sunischit (9/5): Cozy Homely Stay at the Peakman's - Whether you are an international traveler or a domestic visitor, this property is perfect and cozy place to stay in Kathmandu. This place has a comfortable, homely, and welcoming environment. The host offered to help for what he could and because the place is located in one of the nicest areas of the city, there were lots of restaurants nearby he recommended for us to eat. Since this is the host's house, it is not like a hotel with 24/7 room service but the cozy environment overcomes this!
