Guest Reviews
- Watson (4/5): - Location was good although a little isolated Not very clean
- Wildlife Traveller (9/5): My choice of AUTHENTIC stay. - I don't know how to describe this place! Is it a 5 star Hilton, No! Was I glad? Yes!
It is a little out of Jabalpur, but ideal for the waterfall and markets (just 4km away). You can get an "auto" (tuk tuk) out the front for about 200 rupees.
I'm a birdwatcher, so I was in my element. Overlooking the gorgeous river and birds galore.
This place is just so cool and so India.
Chhotu and Ram Singh were my hosts and they couldn't do enough for me; helped with my transport and made beautiful breakfast and dinners (brought to your room). There was an outdoor blow up chair with footrest, which was great for afternoon chilling and watching sunset.
The shower was hot, the room large, the bed comfy.
As a solo female traveller I felt safe and well looked after. I'd 100% stay here again. I like it all. Don't expect 5 star, but expect an incredible stay that is so, so India.
- RADHIKA (10/5): Staying by the river - Such a serene, well managed, and comfortable property! We traveled with our dog, and she had the time of her life. The staff is very polite and helpful. But the best thing about the place is the breathtaking views. There is no food facility available on the property itself, but very easy to order in or to ask Rajesh (the manager) to get.
Will definitely want to stay here again. It is a bit on the costly side, so staying for long is not always an option.
A suggestion - if you can replace the white lights throughout the property with soft yellow ones, it will add further to the charm of this place.
- Manik (9/5): -
- Pratibha (10/5): - Loved the place in totality I liked everything
- Bharat (6/5): - Riverside location giving good view to Narmada river Isolated location. Difficult to get taxi or find nearby restaurants
- Animesh (10/5): - This place has one of the most beautiful location.
This beats many 5 star properties hands down.
Both river and sunset view is mesmerizing.
One of the hidden gems in bhedaghat Jabalpur.
- Venkataramanan (10/5): -
- Kumar (1/5): Unpredictable unprofessional - Worst behaviour of owner/manager Deceitful Even after confirmation denied access to the premises
- Oshin (9/5): -
- rohan (9/5): Great view hotel - Nice view and good room size Nothing much
- Shreeya (10/5): -
- Samruddhi (10/5): - Riverside Burrows is a highly recommended stay for a relaxed, nature-infused getaway in Jabalpur. Excellent location, stylish and comfortable rooms, and a tranquil environment that makes it feel like a mini-retreat rather than just another hotel. Whether you’re travelling solo, as a family, or with friends, it offers a distinctive and peaceful experience.
- Harshada (10/5): - Excellent stay and excellent property.
It one of the best property we stayed in our entire trip. The rooms were clean and spacious. The property is as you see it in the pictures. The view was amazing and the host was well mannered. I will definity return here again and also recommend my friends to stay if they visiting Bhedaghat. The staff and the Owner are casual. The food was bought from dhaba nearby, They should set up a kitchen in the property itself to provide basic tea, basic bread butter or breakfast .

- Praveen (10/5): -
- Bhati (9/5): Superb -
- Mahendra (10/5): Exceptional - I like the property
- Trapti (3/5): Not value for money - Location and promptness of staff is very good. Rooms were ill appointed felt very temporary and makeshift. Air-conditioning was terrible and spending the day caused migraine and even at night sleep was not comfortable. The staff is untrained and casual. The food option provided is bought from dhaba nearby. There is no facility of providing tea or basic bread butter forget about anything else. The food is poor quality and extremely over priced. We could not eat most of the food we got. The property did not even bother sharing the itemised bills of food with us and charged us heavily as a lump sum.
The host is very unprofessional. We booked the bigger cottage but upon arrival nothing was ready. They opened the cottage for us and it was cramped, damp and had bad odour all over the place. We asked them if we can see the smaller cottage and it was much better. So we occupied the 1 bhk. However upon check out we were charged for the 2 bhk for the entire stay. We tried asking the host to adjust the fare as we did not use the 2 bhk accommodation but he did not even answer our call. He sent his runner boy/caretaker to collect the payment and check out. We raised the issue multiple time with host and with Booking.com but no one has responded.
Overall we left feeling terribly cheated and ripped off.
Absolutely not value for money. Will not recommend.
