- Jason (10/5): Stunning place to stay. Would 100 % recommend. - The views, the fireplace, the hot tub, the whole place was absolutely beautiful. Everything. It was modern and very comfortable with plenty of room.
- Broadhurst (9/5): Excellent location and facilities, lovely by the river and dog friendly -
- Andrew (10/5): Great place to say, will most likely be back - Lovely property in a great location, huge garden and hot tub. Pet friendly The only thing I can say really is that the mattress was too soft for me but that a personal preference. Other than that was fantastic.
- sharonna (10/5): Perfect romantic getaway ๐ - The beautiful river was a pleasure to listen too at night whilst looking at the stars...lovely location with a nice walk path overlooking a stunning view nearby. we didn't use the jacuzzi but it was in perfect location not far from the room. The fire place was bliss a real compliment especially after a wet hike ๐ Phil the host was amazing as well as the nice cleaning staff x Didn't know how to work the smaller shower head but that's a minor
- Imogen (10/5): -

- Jan Hytch (10/5): A peaceful and beautifully presented cottage in the heart of the countryside. - Our stay at this charming cottage in Bentham was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and thoughtful touches that made us feel instantly at home. The cottage is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and full of character, with every little detail considered to ensure a comfortable stay.
The location is ideal โ peaceful and surrounded by stunning countryside, yet close enough to explore the Yorkshire Dales and nearby villages. We loved waking up to the sound of birdsong and enjoying our morning coffee with such gorgeous views.
The hosts were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We canโt recommend this place highly enough and are already planning our next visit. Couldn't have asked for anything more. The cottage had everything we needed, and the design was really goo. We loved the balcony and had our breakfast there each morning, and a BBQ.

- Carole (9/5): Perfect location & property for a relaxing stay - Beautiful property with lovely grounds and view.
Comfortable beds and linen.
Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Lacking a full length mirror somewhere in the property as we had an occasion to go to. No mirror at reasonable height in 2nd bedroom. Inside staircase would benefit from a handrail on the outside wall as difficult for older members of the family.
A non slip bath mat too.
- Corina (10/5): A real wow property that wouldโve been perfect except for the torrential rain. Gorgeous place and very helpful managemen - Stunning property in a beautiful setting Nothing
- Roger (5/5): Beautiful grounds, great space. Sadly no compensation for broken amenities. Definitely should get a washing machine. - Very spacious, modern and cosy. Great bed linens and garden views. Loved rhubarb the cat and the hot tub. It would have been nice to have more cutlery. Only four forks makes hosting family a challenge. It was difficult not having a washing machine for clothes (not great for longer stays). Not being able to use the oven was also a big disappointment and for the price paid for our stay there should have been more effort to compensate. Our car was damaged by a recycling bin so we suggest the parking space for vehicles belonging to guests should be free from objects that could damage cars. Could be good to hoover up the cobwebs and spiders.
- Andrew (10/5): A perfect stay for our family of four with two dogs. - Beautiful holiday home. Spotlessly clean with everything we needed for an amazing stay. Everything was perfect from the comfortable beds to the hot tub by the river in a lovely garden. Beautiful views, liked that the living area was upstairs to make the most of the views. Friendly, welcoming & helpful host.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ben (9/5): Superb -
- Catherine (9/5): Great stay at Riverbank Cottage - The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The individual temperature controlled rooms were a great luxury. The interior design of the upstairs was a pleasure to look at each day. Sitting in the hot tub in the evening with bats flying around and rabbits quietly grazing was wonderfully peaceful, as was the lovely bench by the river. Rhubarb the cat was an added bonus and made us feel very welcome with their companionship.
This property is of a very high standard and we have a wonderful stay. I would suggest a fence by the adjacent Pool House parking area to prevent guest's dogs from accessing the area belonging to Riverside Cottage. We got barked at by one free roaming furry guest quite a few times, including when in the hot tub and the owners had to keep coming to get him.
- Stuart (10/5): Exceptional - Location, decor, amenities, everything! The cat next door was very friendly too ๐๐ Nothing actually. It was lovely.
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tara (10/5): Exceptional - Location, grounds were amazing, good size rooms No curtains just blinds, as soon as the sun comes up light is blaring into your room , didn't manage to sleep in last 07.30
- Nicole (8/5): A relaxing stay in a comfortable cottage with nice views. - The cottage is in an interesting location with plenty of shops, walks and places of interest nearby.
The hot tub was enjoyed by all.
The kitchen was well equipped and all the appliances were good quality. The beds were very comfy. As the house is upside down, it was noisy in the bedrooms when someone was in the living area!
There isn't enough soft seating for a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. It could do with a three seater sofa instead of 2 x 2 seaters.
- Shirley (10/5): Exceptional -
