Family is super friendly, location is amazing - surrounded by rice field, beautiful plants and mountain,. We had super delicious vegan food - Arruan cooks very well. What we also like a lot it is contact with the owner of this place - he responded super fast and he is very helpful. He booked for us shared taxi from Rantepao and another one from Mamasa to Makasar...by ourselves this could be complicated. 100% recommendable. Terimakasih.
- Joffre (10/5): An oasis. - The trip to get here is totally worth it. Nested among rice paddies, excellent Wi-Fi, outstanding staff running the place (oma was a joy to interact with!) (also bring some bahasa knowledge for a deeper bond with them or improve the current one by teaching them English as well). There are a couple of wild hot springs around the area to explore and regarding food they will offer you the typical indonesian Nasi or mie + coffee / tea and if you bring some for from the market they’ll happily cooked it for you. MAMASA is wild, is there to be explored as little info is found on the web. You’ll not regret this one!
- Stephane (10/5): - We spent a relaxing and very enjoyable 18 days stay at Serenity Farm and Homestay. The true definition of 'Homestay'. We were very well received and felt like family. The house is very nice, the views from the terrace are very soothing, from the morning mists to the colourful sunset. Afternoon can be rainy but this brings an enjoyable cooler atmosphere. The food is excellent !!!!!!!! The surroundings offer many opportunities for visits (there are traditional Mamasa houses in every Kampung) or mountain hikes.
- Listyorini (8/5): Very good - Very amazing place u didn't expect i found this in the nowhere in Mamasa. Natural, fresh air, clean room, good hot water, good view everyday. Wé reached near the property, super bad road, no one know where is this and the property owner didn't answer us in time so wé looking around round but no one answer the call/text. Next time please be more responsif with the order, you don't know where your guest from. Lucky i'm Indonesian. Can't imagine some European lost in the nowhere.
- Evgeniya (10/5): Unforgettable place. Highly recommended. - Great view from a small house surrounded by paddy fields. Zen and clean environment. Very friendly and helpful family. The dinner and the breakfast made with farm products were really great! All in all, it was an unforgettable stay! Everything was good!
