• Carlos Alberto (10/5): Fantástico! Absolutamente recomendado. - Roblesur no decepcionó en lo más mínimo. Desde la atención, cortesía y amabilidad de parte de todo el staff, desde el registro y hasta la salida, la estancia fue fantástica. El hotel está ubicado en una zona muy tranquila a las orillas del pueblo a unos minutos de la terminal de autobuses (8 mins) y de la parte comercial (15). El edificio es amplio y a pesar de tener ocupación completa, era como si estuviera vacío, añadiéndole más calma y tranquilidad a la estancia. La habitación es muy amplia y cómoda, con todo lo necesario para un descanso reparador después de jornadas extenuantes. El desayuno, aunque limitado, es suficiente para comenzar el día. Se pueden ordenar viandas para llevar a excursión (quiche de vegetales, alternativa top) y para cenar. En general todo fue fantástico, pero la atención del staff merece mención aparte. Altamente recomendable.

• Tímea (9/5): Nice and quite Hosteria in the outskirts of El Calafate - A quiet, clean and well-maintained place in the outskirts of El Calafate with a very welcoming owner. We had no complaints and enjoyed our stay altogether. It is not close to the city center, but we chose it nevertheless because if its proximity to the bus station. What we did not check is, that even though it is true, the road is not paved, so it can be quite difficult to navigate with baggages. This is not the hotel's fault, but take into consideration when booking this accommodation.

• eunice (8/5): Nice clean and spacious place to stay. - Spacious room. Friendly staff. Cozy restaurant but we only had the continental breakfast. It’s located on outskirts of the city in residential area with gravel roads. We chose it because we were returning from Torres del Paine and had a flight next morning. There were barking dogs at night which kept me up.

• Andrea (10/5): Örömmel ajánlom mindenkinek - Két túrázós napot töltöttünk Calafateban, így nem jelentett semmi hátrányt, hogy a szállás a város szélén van. (A város egyébként sem nagy, pár perc alatt minden elérhető autóval vagy taxival.) Hatalmas, jól felszerelt, tiszta szobánk volt, remek reggelivel. Nagyon kényelmes volt, hogy első napi fárasztó utazás, másnap pedig a Fitz Roy túra után, helyben tudtunk vacsorázni. Mariana remekül főz. Kiránduláshoz többféle ételcsomag kérhető. Egy légkondi jó lett volna.

• Zoe (10/5): ESTUPENDO - Las habitaciones son espaciosas, cómodas y muy limpias. Las áreas comunes son muy bonitas y acogedoras. El desayuno está muy bien. Mariana y su equipo son unos grandísimos anfitriones, nos ayudaron a reservar lugares y nos dieron varias recomendaciones. No está ubicado en el centro, pero esto no es un problema, hay muy buena oferta de taxis a buen precio y además el sitio es muy silencioso. Nos ha encantado! -

• Mechthild (10/5): - Es war eine tolle Unterkunft genau zu Weihnachten: Die Eigentümerin war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und entgegenkommend. Sie half uns beim Buchen einer Tour. Wir konnten abends in einem "Turmzimmer" mit Ringsum-Blick nach draußen sitzen. Zum Frühstück gab´s sogar Stollen und außerdem auch Obst und etwas Gemüse. Vielen gefällt es, uns nicht ganz so: Die Betten sind sehr hart.

We arrived at 8 am and she already had the room available for check in! She even went out of her way to drive us to the local bakery for a breakfast.

Skip the expensive tourist food in town and have the dinner there. It’s well priced and a great menu. We Missed it and regret it. Some hiccups with the climate control when we arrived but they fixed it quickly!

• Philip (9/5): A cosy and comfortable stay in El Calafate - Friendly, accommodating and supportive staff (especially Ricardo). Comfortable bed. Quiet area, really good night's sleep. Tasty breakfast and delicious dinner options. Flexible timings on breakfast and dinner. Very convenient packed lunch option. Room somewhat overheated on arrival, no way to control it from the room. Hotel rule against dining in room, understandable but could be inconvenient for others.

• Eric (2/5): The credit card I used for my stay was used to make a purchase - not by me. Reported fraud to Visa. - Breakfast was minimal but it was fine. A photo of my credit card was taken the night I arrived. A few days later that card was used to purchase tickets through Ticketpro in El Calafate. Someone there did not protect my credit card number - or deliberately used it thinking it would go unnoticed by a traveler from out of the country. Specific to the facility, I would like to have known in advance the rooms are on the 2nd floor. Difficult with no elevator and lots of heavy luggage.

One thing I appreciated was the size of the rooms, which were spacious. The staff is polite. - Difficult to find the exact location of the hotel, especially at night. - Breakfast quality is passable at best. - Rooms can be quite cold, making it less comfortable.

• Traceadventures (8/5): Very good - Very helpful owner who made a couple of phone calls to local providers on our behalf. Lovely room and comfortable common areas downstairs. Out of the main area of town, it was a 20 min walk to the main street where all the restaurants and shopping were. Very slow internet. Not sure if this a problem with the town but was very slow at night, assuming that most people were in the rooms.
• Ben (9/5): Lovely bed and breakfast with friendly staff - This little bed and breakfast was one of our favourites during our time in Patagonia. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were able to get a cup of tea (very important for the English) and the breakfast was nice. Big comfortable rooms. And there's a cat which is always a bonus. It's up a hill from the bus station so it's a steep walk but just get a taxi if it's too much for you.
• Kelly (9/5): High-End Comfort at a Great Rate - This cute little hotel was a peaceful, comfortable spot for us to spend our last night in Patagonia. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and made us feel right at home. We stayed in the suite and especially loved the big bed with high-end bedding and the jacuzzi tub. The value couldn't have been better. We were very happy with what we received for the price we paid. The hotel is a little far from town, but if you rent a car you can be in the city center in less than 5 minutes. If not, it's about a 15-20 minute walk.

Also enough blankets to keep you warm. - The room (not the bathroom) was spacious for two people. - Main thing was the sort of weirdness of the staff. Please don't get me wrong, they were friendly and tried to be nice (in their way). But for example: If you don't want people to take their roomkey with them, explain beforehand why they need to give it back everytime they leave the hotel. We weren't used to this. So when we wanted to go out, the reaction was almost like if we were crazy for taking the key with us. - We booked this place for 2 nights through booking.com. We decided to stay 2 more nights because of the bed and it was quiet at that moment (no wind). Normally when you ask directly for extra nights, the rate goes a bit down because they don't have to pay Booking.com as well. When checking about the rate, it stayed the same. For me this is not very customer friendly. - For breakfast we had to fill in an online form beforehand with what we would like to have (choosing from a few options). For a touristic place like El Calafate, it is strange that the form isn't in English. So when using google translate, the last question was translated in 'Enjoying of!' with an open field. We put in Spanish scrambled eggs (because we like it and wasn't an option earlier in the form). We never saw any eggs and thought maybe it's just not possible. Till we checked-out and saw people eating...yes scrambled eggs! So for 4 days we had been eating toast and croissants that are way too sweet. And just 1 piece of fruit after asking, eventhough we crossed it on the list. So more healthy and variety in options for breakfast would have been nice. As well as a check during breakfast if everything is ok and if you need anything else. Everything is just put on the table and that's it. No refill on the tea or filter coffee (not that it was great..). - In the room the curtains aren't blinding completely. During summertime this would be nice to avoid waking up early.
