Het appartement is super, heerlijk bed en douche! Keuken wat klein, lastig om samen te koken. Helaas maar 1 pit om te koken.

• Margaret (10/5): Peaceful paradise which is hard to beat. - Location was unsurpassable- quiet street opposite the incredibly beautiful Arkles Bay beach. Hosts let us use their kayaks and bicycles so had a great time exploring the area and kayaking the sheltered calm waters of the bay protected by two awesome cliffs either end of the bay. Very comfortable accommodation with generous top quality provisions for a carefree and most comfortable stay. Lapping waters lulled us to sleep each night. Could’ve sat at front outdoor area looking at the beach all day… Everything was great. No room for improvement.

You’d never think you were so close to the local shops, restaurants and cinema while staying here. The quiet bay just 10 meters from the doorstep with the most beautiful sunrise vistas. No traffic noise.

• JT07 (10/5): Beautiful 100% - I love the house my family love it and they love how the owner treat them with love and kindness and for the conclude the view was perfect and it was wonderful enough for my family money totally worth it... and the shower lol the kids love the shower outside lol well if your family go there you don't wanna end your journey there and the beach near to us we can swimming all day until night time lol anyways I love love love love itttttt. It just that I lost one of they shade toys tat all

• Alan (10/5): An excellent place in a beautiful location. - We booked the property for 4 nights based on its location, a relatively short distance from Auckland Airport, to recover from a 30 hour total journey from England! It was perfect, a comfortable place situated on a beautiful bay. The owner was friendly and welcoming and we would not hesitate to stay there again. There was nothing that we didn’t like. We would have preferred a stove top in the kitchen rather than the oven/air fryer. There was a barbecue that was very useful.

• Jon (10/5): Coastal bliss with super host. Wish we had stayed longer. - We had a very warm welcome from Vicky, our host. She gave us good advice on places to eat in the area. The location is right across from the beach, a quiet family friendly place to have a splash. We had kayaks and a stand-up paddleboard to use. I can’t praise Vicky and Wayne enough for their hospitality. No complaints. Be aware that it is a double room with a sofa bed in living area.
• Wilhelmus (10/5): A relaxing stay in a wonderful ground floor beach front apartment. - We loved the beautiful beach-front Arkles Bay location in Whangaparaoa, with a 10min walk up a hill to get to a Kebab Takeaway and Thai Restaurant. The apartment was wonderful, great bedroom, bathroom, lounge and outside space, compact kitchen with oven/air fryer, oil, seasoning, water, milk and chocolates in the fridge. Vicki was a wonderful host, had a friendly chat and gave us our privacy to enjoy the accommodation.

• Lynda (9/5): Brilliant place to stay - Location was gorgeous with the beach across the road in a very quiet area. Loved it. The accommodation was clean and tidy, well equipped and very private. The bed was extremely comfortable and it had everything I could have asked for. Only downside was the parking, across the road on the grass verge of the beach. Wet in winter and I can imagine crowded in summer. The toaster needs to be upgraded. But otherwise it was brilliant

• Gary (8/5): Very good - Great outlook out across the bay. We had nice walk along the beach. Very comfortable inside and bathroom was clean. TV was poor streaming and only freeview channels. Sofa beds were required for more than 2 persons. Kitchen was compact and lacking a stove.

A gorgeous view at the ocean and rocks, a royal bed where you can sleep through the lulling sound of the waves, stylish design and a few minutes away from bars/resto/shop through the beautiful jungle path. The owners are amazing; welcoming and friendly, we had a great evening together. If/When we come back one day to Whangaparāoa, we'll definitely stay in this place again. • Rena (10/5): Beautiful place - What a perfect place to spend our last few days in New Zealand. The place was clean bed the most comfortable bed we slept in the entire time we were in New Zealand. Had some great food was totally relaxing just sitting across from the beach enjoying sunshine and watching all the activities going on. The people who own the place are right upstairs if you have any problems which we did not Could have used some bed side lamps as I enjoy reading before I go to sleep. The over head lighting was very bright

Ideal spot for a relacing end to our stay in New Zealand. Nothing, the kitchen is fairly basic but there is a big gas BBQ and stove on the terrace

Having a bath and a shower was perfect, and the bed was the most glorious I’ve slept on for a long time. The views are perfect, and the living spaces are ideal, specially the outside spaces. The outside shower was great after our many swims. Vicki is such a fabulous host. She pointed out all the beach toys there for my daughter and I to use. There wasn’t anything to dislike.

• Jim (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts were really accommodating,nothing was to much trouble,even helped move the water toys to and from the beach, just about anything you could think of was available, even down to a cricket set that appeared after our grandson mentioned he liked cricket! The location couldn't be faulted, only steps to the water, the unit itself was spotless and, again, everything was there for you, even down to an automatic toaster! There is nothing not to like, just a couple of suggestions to improve the stay. The bedroom could do with a second bedside locker and perhaps a ceiling fan for those warm nights, after all, not everyone is comfortable leaving the doors open at night.
