Guest Reviews
- Sheila (10/5): Great place - Great little place, hot tub was great. Very quite and peaceful, just what I needed. Distance from the shops.
- S&G GEE (10/5): Best Break With Fam - The most friendly, comfy and welcoming place we've ever been simply the best experience. Thank you for making this place memorable for all us. We love it so much!
- Colin (8/5): Relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable. - The location is very good, quiet, peaceful and in lovely surroundings. It's close to Banchory where you can pick up anything you'd be likely to need. The lodge was clean, well presented, warm and comfortable. The hot tub was a nice addition and was tended to daily. Shower and heating were good. The bed was firm, and in my opinion the mattress needs to be replaced. The doors needed a decent shove to close, possibly because they're wooden and contract / expand with the weather. The shower was good, but over sprays water causing small amount of water to spill out on to the bathroom floor.
- Carrie (4/5): Cramped - The shower was good Incredibly small. Advertising very misleading for a 1 bed lodge. You look as if you're getting a full lodge when in actual fact it is half a lodge. Very small uncomfortable sofa was located in the kitchen right beside the fridge. Bedroom was ok. Hot tub not very powerful. Place needs a revamp, tired and dated. Only 2 towels provided for a 4 night stay.
- John (10/5): Relaxing and peaceful - Nicely laid out. The hot tub was do relaxing.
It was a quiet site which suited us.
- Joyce (8/5): Great location for exploring, good value for money. - Location of the lodges was good, we had been before many years ago but further up on the higher ground. Did not expect the lodge to be a semi! However, the front was unoccupied so no problem. Shower was fantastic, heating brilliant and tons of hot water. There was no lifting bar for the hot tub, a shortage of towels, previously separate ones for hot tub use had been provided.
Kind of felt like I was sleeping in the garden shed, nothing at all like previous experience. A couple of light bulbs went out.
