• Janette (10/5): Loved everything about this stay - Warm friendly greeting with fiona and Chstina waiting for our arrival. House was exactly as shown on booking.com platform. Special touch of a welcome pack with the necessary items of food till we done our shopping. Immaculate inside and out. Beds comfy. Everything you need to live in. Cleaning products. Beverages. Utensils. Crockery.and toiletries. Will recommend to friends and will most certainly be coming back again. Having to leave. Should have stayed longer.
• Peter (10/5): Tolle Gastgeberinnen mit tollem Haus am Strand - Fiona und Cristina hatten uns persönlich empfangen und uns das Haus und die Umgebung gezeigt. Sie sind äußerst nett, gastfreundlich und großzügig. Obst, Getränke und etwas zum Knabbern stand für uns bereit. Das Haus ist noch schöner als auf den Bildern. 2 freundliche, helle Schlafzimmer mit Fenster und Klimanlage. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Das Bad hat 2 Waschbecken , WC , Bidet und Dusche. Sonnencreme, Shampoo und vieles mehr steht zur Verfügung. Alles war super sauber und sehr gepflegt. Das Wohn/Esszimmer mit Küche ist sehr großzügig und gut ausgestattet. Cristina und Fiona haben das Haus sehr nett dekoriert und so eingerichtet, dass man sich sehr wohlfühlt. Das Wlan ist sehr schnell. In der Küche ist wirklich alles vorhanden. Es gibt alle Geräte aber auch Öl, Gewürze und sogar Kapseln für die Kaffeemaschine lagen bereit. Auch die Küche war sehr sauber. Draußen gibt es Liegen, Tisch und einen schönen Blick auf den Strand der Lagune. Zum anderen Strand sind es nur wenige Meter. Restaurants und Cafes sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Auto kann auf dem Gelände geparkt werden. Fiona und Cristina waren sehr kommunikativ und immer erreichbar. Dafür, dass wir unseren Hund mitbringen durften, gibt es den 11. Stern. Wir können das Haus von Cristina und Fiona absolut nur empfehlen und wollen uns bei Euch für Eure tolle und liebenswerte Gastfreundschaft bedanken. Hoffentlich bis bald, Lidia und Peter Wer in Faro wohnt, kommt um etwas Fluglärm nicht herum.

• Stefan (10/5): - Wir wurden von zwei sehr netten Gastgeberinnen empfangen. Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet, und hat eine ruhige Lage. Ein Mini Market ist in der Nähe, der gut bestückt ist.
• de quartel (10/5): A wonderful base to explore the area from. A real home from home! - The location couldn’t be better. The house has everything you could possibly need — spotlessly clean, beautifully comfortable, and truly a home from home. Christina and Fiona met us on arrival and gave us the warmest welcome, complete with a thoughtful selection of supplies to help us settle in… including a great bottle of red wine 🍷 — a lovely touch after travelling. There’s an excellent choice of local restaurants all within easy walking distance, and the beach is literally just 50 metres away. At low tide, you can walk the full length of the lagoon, which is simply stunning. Parking is easy and conveniently located right next to the house. We would wholeheartedly recommend this house as a perfect base from which to explore the area — we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

• Andrew (9/5): September 2025 - This is a lovely place which is superbly located and hosted by a very welcoming and kind pair. We were greeted with plenty of information, some provisions and were shown a shortcut to the nearby beach, of which we took immediate advantage. The setting is picturesque with an outdoor area to sit with a pleasant view, and a short walk to nearby bars, restaurants and small local shop. It was very easy to get to the nearby ferry stop to travel into Faro itself, which is very reasonable too. I would happily recommend this spacious and charming place to all, and we are most grateful to our kind hosts, Cristina and Fiona for our happy stay. Thank you so much, muito obrigado!
• Dawn (10/5): - Cristina and Fiona are the lovelist hosts, everything you could possibly need is supplied. Property is spotless and beds so comfortable. Location is perfect. Views of the beautiful lagon from the big terrace and the sun hits the sunloungers in morning for tanning then shade in the afternoon with a lovely breeze from lagoon which is much needed after a day on the beach or on a tour. Lovely and quiet location just perfect. Beach is literally 2min stroll from property and so stunning. Outside private shower is great too after day on beach. We swam in both the lagoon (calm)and crystal clear and the sea cooler than lagoon, both really stunning. Local mini market turn left out of property and has a good selection and another mini market onway to bridge. Local resturant Ze Maria was our favourite, fresh fish dishes daily cooked to perfection but just open 12 till 4pm so get in early. O'Rui resturant near bridge is also very good we got the seafood sharing platter(boat) and it was amazing, again cooked to perfection. Faro ferry is a short walk from property and a lovely ride into Faro and back and very cheap, you can pay on ferry from Prai de Faro (property side) and get a return for just 4 euros or a single but when travelling back from Faro city to property, if you dont have a return ticket you need to buy a ticket first from the stalls by waiting area to ferry. Lots of stunning resturants in Faro too. Local buses from Praia de Faro into Faro City by roundabout next to bridge, again very cheap and always stops via airport first then onto FaroCity. Very easy to use. Most people use Uber app and it is very easy to get around with. We managed to set it up easily whilst there.WiFi in property is very good too. Just the most perfect location and amenties and we would highly recommend and would defo return. Just so lovely. Thank you so much Cristina and Fiona. Nothing to dislike, just perfect.
• Cornelia (9/5): - Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Christina und Fiona begrüsst. Die Wohnung, die Ausstattung und der Blick auf die Lagune einfach nur super. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Am Anfang hat uns der Fluglärm sehr gestört, mit der Zeit gewöhnt man sich dran. Auch der Autoverkehr( aufheulende Motoren) vor allem Nachts ist nervend.

• Lisa (10/5): Perfect home in a beautiful location. - We have just returned from the most relaxing week staying at Villa Cristipaulo, Fiona and Cristina could not have been better hosts, with a wonderful personal welcome & package when we arrived. The home has everything you could need for your holiday, exceptionally equipped, in the most perfect location. We arrived early and were able to check in and they also kindly allowed us to leave our bags for a few hours after check out, as we were flying later in the day. We would highly recommend and can not wait to return. No air-conditioning but there was a fan provided.

• Barry (9/5): - Villa Cristipaulo is a little, immaculate gem. A lot of thought has been given to the lay-out, decor and furnishings, all of which contribute to it´s being very comfortable. The location is great, being on the lagoon side means there is less wind. And it has it´s own private parking which is invaluable during the summer months. You could not find better hosts that Cristina and Fiona, who even left us wine, beer and other goodies.

• Karen (10/5): Un séjour très agréable grâce à un logement de qualité et des hôtes d’une gentillesse incomparable. - Ce logement était absolument parfait! Les lieux sont propres, très bien soignés, joliment décorés et tout y est! Les hôtes, Cristina et Fiona, adorables, sont venues nous accueillir elles-même. Elles font tout pour que les visiteurs se sentent chez eux. Elles ont même eu la gentillesse de nous offrir le petit déjeuner pour les matinées (croissants, fruits, thé, café… mais aussi des rafraîchissements!). Il y a absolument tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin. Cristina et Fiona sont très disponibles et serviables. Le logement est également parfaitement bien situé, à 1 minute à pieds de la plage et face à un estuaire, on peut profiter de la terrasse, pour les jours de plage, il y a même une douche extérieure, rien n’est laissé au hasard. Nous y retournerons certainement si la vie nous ramène à Faro. Merci Cristina et Fiona. Rien à redire sur le logement qui était parfait. Le plus déroutant peut être est le bruit des avions: l’aéroport de Faro est très proche mais c’est aussi ce qui fait que nous avions choisi Faro!
• Nadav (10/5): - We spent two weeks at Villa Cristipaulo in early spring, and it was absolutely lovely! Cristina and Fiona are truly amazing hosts—warm, caring, and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel at home. Despite our flight being delayed and us arriving late at night, they personally greeted us and even prepared bread, butter, and fresh fruit, knowing we wouldn’t be able to find an open store. Throughout our stay, they were always available, ready to help with anything we needed. Whether it was insider tips, recommendations, or just a friendly chat. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated in a charming ocean-inspired style and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The terrace was the perfect spot to unwind in the evenings—sipping wine, enjoying olives, and listening to the soothing sound of the sea. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The location couldn’t be better—just step outside barefoot, and within three minutes, you’re on the beach with the vast ocean stretching before you. We took plenty of relaxing strolls through the area, which has a wonderfully laid-back vibe, likely thanks to the many fishermen and surfers who call it home. Thank you both for such an amazing experience—we highly recommend this apartment and will definitely be returning! Janique & Nadi

• María del Mar (10/5): COMO EN CASA - La casa muy bien situada entre la ría y la playa con vistas a la ría y a un minuto andando la playa piso muy luminoso y sin vecinos ruidosos. Limpieza muy buena Anfitrionas muy detallista. Valoro mucho esos detalles que nos hicieron sentir como si estuviéramos en nuestra casa (entrega llave en persona, cápsulas de café azúcar, fruta, zumo; champú gel) No nos faltó nada
