• Eleonora (10/5): Great location for a budget stay - I love this location, it's quiet yet you have 3 min to the beach, and 10 min to everything on Panangsama street! The building and facilities are new, the internet is good, and the shower is hot. The road is harshly bumpy, but it's nothing to do with the hotel staff.

• Anouk (4/5): Fijne locatie maar onderhoud aan de kamer is hard nodig - De locatie is dichtbij de Sardinerun De kamer stinkt naar schimmel. De airco is heel vies en onderhoud is hard nodig. Badkamer rook naar urine.
• Pascal (8/5): - Tolle Lage und der Zugang vom Resort konnte auch mit benutzt werden. Personal war jederzeit sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Zimmer sind spartanisch eingerichtet, aber für mich war das voll ausreichend. Kostenloses Wasser. Leider wurde der Lüfter im Bad wegen der Lautstärke abgeschaltet.

• Dorota (8/5): Good stay during sunny days, miserable when rainy - Very convenient location, restaurants onsite and a nice beach for swimming close to the sardines run. The room was basic but had everything I needed. The room wasn’t nice to stay in for a long time as it was very dark. Unfortunately I experienced 2 rainy days while there and staying inside the dark room wasn’t that pleasant. The AC was very loud and switched it off at night as couldn’t hear my alarm in the morning. There was a laundry line outside of the tiny window and any sunlight/daylight was blocked by the drying laundry. Next time I would book the more expensive resort as otherwise you don’t see any daylight when inside.
• Anton (7/5): Snorkling i Moalboal - Moalboal är alltid trevligt och Tipolo resort är jättefin. Resorten är dock inte detsamma som Guesthouse även ifall de ligger nära varandra, så man behöver vara uppmärksam på vilket ställe det är man bokar. Guesthouse ligger ändå bra till i Moalboal, på en liten sidogata till huvudstråket, så det är mycket lätt att gå runt i Moalboal. Som boende i Guesthouse fick man använda resortens trädgård och strand, vilket var bra. Det är bra snorkling rakt utanför med korallrev och många sköldpaddor. Man ser faktiskt fler sköldpaddor då man snorklar på grunt vatten, än vad man gör då man dyker. Personalen på Tipolo var trevlig och hjälpsam men på ett så stort ställe som detta är, med mycket folk, blir det inte oväntat lite opersonligt. Tipolos restaurang Last filling station är mycket trevlig, en av de bästa i Moalboal. Rummen var extremt små. Jag hade ett rum det skulle gå att få in tre personer i men det var fullt med bara mig och min lilla packning. Dock är det väl billigare än ett boende på själva resorten. Har man inte tänkt använda boendet till annat än att sova där så funkar det.

• Nataliia (8/5): Great location, good tours, budget bed. - Perfect location, easy walking distance to the centre of the town with all the restaurants/parties, but quiet at night. It's affiliated to the Tipolo Resort and you can use their beach/facilities. Restaurant is nice and we booked tours through them (and loved it). It was super clean. The bed/mattress were not great. It was a wooden flat bed with a very thin mat on it, if you have budget consider booking the resort.

Klimatyzacja tak hałaśliwa, że na czas pobytu jej nie włączaliśmy. Dla osób bez większych wymagań - OK. Przed wejściem stolik z krzesłami oraz wieszak na mokre rzeczy. Głośna klimatyzacja.

• NARAE (7/5): 가격대비 괜찮은 숙소입니다 - 티폴로 리조트 해변을 사용할 수 있는 게 가장 좋았어요. 해변 위 식탁과 의자 등을 사용할 수 있어서 한가한 시간을 보냈습니다. 게스트하우스는 리조트와 걸어서 1-2분 거리 골목에 있었고, 깨끗한 작은 방이었어요. 청소 요청시 매일 청소 해주셔서 깨끗하게 지낼 수 있었어요. 저희 방은 맨 끝 방이어서 창문이 있었기 때문에 낮에 항상 환기를 시켰어요. 침대가 조금 불편해서 허리가 아팠어요.

• Jakob (8/5): All in all a very nice place - if you have the money i would recommend the actual Tipolo Resort. If you dont have the mo - Great option to be able to use Tipolo resorts facilities. Turtles and Sardines just outside the hotel. Very nice. Moalboal is such a lovely place. Our actual facilities in the guest house were not as nice - but we payed half the price and had access to the same beach, restaurant, bar and chill areas woth awesomr views.

• Elaine (8/5): Best location for snorkeling and sardine swim! - the location is the absolute best! just walk out and you are there on the reef with the sardine swim! amazing. The Brewed coffee at Tipolo is the best. The staff are very friendly and helpful. the food was a bit too salty, there was no kettle in the room so no coffee or tea out of hours. The shower water pressure (room was upstairs) was very poor- just a dribble.

• Enda (10/5): - The room was clean and the location was excellent, just a short walk to the beach, cafes, bars etc. The meals served at the attached restaurant were excellent and the waitresses were lovely. The beach isn't great (not very long or sandy) but it was sufficient for me, being someone who doesn't spend too long sunbathing.
• Michael (8/5): Good location and very affordable - The small rooms in the Guesthouse provide the essentials and are comfortable enough if you spend your days out and only need the accommodation for sleeping. The rooms smell a bit musty, but the air conditioning quickly clears it. The reception staff are helpful for bookings, but offer little support otherwise, and other providers have noticeably cheaper transport and tour options. Don‘t order food when you‘re in a rush! :)

• Konrad (4/5): Umbuchung hat Aufenthalt teilweise versaut - Lage ist halbzentral. Leicht neben der Hauptkasse und somit ohne Trubel.... Leider wurden andere Zimmer durch die Unterkunft zur Verfügung gestellt als gebucht. 2 2er Zimmer anstatt ein Familienzimmer.

• Jan (7/5): Good - I think it’s a nice and simple beach resort. But it’s overpriced for what you get. I paid like 70USD per night. I think 50USD would be a fair price. The private beach has restricted access to the water by daytime and just for snorkeling activities. I wished I knew that before. If you just like to jump into the water and swim you need to go to other beaches :(

I didn't know I'm staying at their extension, which is away from the main resort, had to add more money but fewer nights just to stay at the actual resort. In my booking confirmation, it didn't say that it was at the extension, far away from the beach. So disappointed I had to cut short my stay and spend more money.

• Rhoderic (8/5): Comfortable basic room two minutes from the sea. - Location is hard to beat. You’re one or two minutes to the beach. I loved the restaurant. I ended up working from there most times. Friendly staff. I extended my stay because I didn’t want to leave. The guesthouse is not attached to the beach resort, but it’s just a minute walk and you can use their facilities. I loved that I had a terrace too. A desk inside the room would be nice but I don’t think there’s room for that.

Great options for food and drinks at resort. Great base for taxi or grab for day trips. The downside to being in the resort was not close to street and street options, but that may not be a negative.

• Charles (8/5): Very good - Perfect for the price, just one street away from The resort where you have access. Good value for the money. It was said before but they should fix the AC, it keep going on and off with a very loud noise when it does so you have to turn it off to be able to sleep.
• Sydney (9/5): great stay overall if you’re looking for a comfortable, clean basic room that is wonderfully located - The place is wonderfully located and very clean especially for the price! You are 2 minutes from the beach and 5-10 minutes from the busy street with restaurants but away from the noise. Our room had bunk beds and a small shelf for things and then the bathroom. It was small and basic, but more than fit our needs as we weren’t planning on being in the room much. The shower was actually hot, the sheets very clean and comfortable, and they come sweep the floors if you request cleaning. The breakfast at the hotel is also quite nice. Only problem with the room was that the top bunk had very little airflow as the fan was positioned below it and so the person on top was quite warm or the person below quite cold. The WiFi at the restaurant works great but in the room was spotty, but again this wasn’t our main concern. Overall, we would definitely stay again. Better airflow, or a fan for the top bunk would be the biggest improvement. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t the best, but it was a nice shower and you were still able to shower, and the Wi-Fi connectivity in the rooms also wasn’t stable.

• Madeline (6/5): Great staff, good location, budget accommodation value for money - The staff were lovely, booking tours through them was good. Helped us organise laundry, good little restaurant. Air con kept the room cool at night. We travelled with my Dad and his shower wasn’t working and needed the head replaced. The staff took care of this, but seemed like it could have been prevented. Mattress is very thin, I liken it to a camping mattress.

If you want to see turtles or the sardine run this is the perfect - -Free access to the beach for snorkeling/diving and common areas of the resort - the bunkbeds are very big and comfortable - the staff is extremely helpful and kind - the road getting there is very bad - there’s no wifi in the room, only at the resort which is around the corner -a lot of ants on the bottom bunk bed - on the last day, the power didn’t work -the door to the bathroom doesn’t fully close and is very loud
