Will stay again and I recommend this place. - It was close to the beach and the room was very cozy Wish it had a kitchen sink so I could clean the dishes. The bathroom sink too small to do that and the drain didn’t work well. Took forever for the water to go down
Michael (7/5): - Sehr freundlicher Vermieter, eine top Lage, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut in Ordnung, Parkmöglichkeit, könnte man dazu buchen, direkt am Haus. Die Unterkunft hat ein wenig nach Schimmel gerochen, wenn man aber das Fenster aufgemacht hat und den Ventilator eingeschaltet, hat sich das verflüchtigt. Das bleibt aber bei der Lage so nah am Strand nicht aus.

Although walls so thin u can hear people arguing, having sex, and wh - I like the location, the room was very clean and everything you need inside. There's no staff and no office so if you need something good luck! The numbers they tell you to text half the time don't even text you back!

Had asked for one, but never got it. It was fairly complicated trying to figure out how to get in. Can only communicate through site. Having to pay $20- per night for parking.

Jessi (7/5): Good price for a short getaway - Location was good in room 101 I could see some of the ocean I could hear the people next to me. I could hear their whole conversations. They started smoking at 11:30pm and it came wafting into our room. It was disgusting. I didn’t like that there was nothing out the front door to sit and eat in the morning. No door to the backyard from the unit. The matrices was so soft and springy. We did see a cockroach in the doorway but none after that. Thank god

Close to restaurants and shopping. We stayed at this property for years under a previous owner and loved it. Under the new ownership it’s not so great. We never saw a staff member during our stay and there are additional fees for parking and use of beach chairs which had previously been included. There were some issues with bathroom plumbing in our room which I reported. A coffee maker is provided but no coffee.

Patrick (1/5): Did not appreciate that no one was onsite to adress concerns of persons being disruptive. - The location, the comfort and amenities and most of all the cleanliness… We did not like the adjacent door to our room. We could hear every conversation, music and the argument the couple had next door. This challenge began around 2300hrs. The hotel has a noise policy in effect for 2200hrs. I reached out to the property manager, with regards to this issue. I was assured that it would be dealt with. The issue kept going on till the couple began to argue at 0130am. It was at this point that my wife and I began to searched for another accommodation, and ultimately, left the property. I attempted to call the properly but we could not get in touch with anyone.
Brent (1/5): - Location is the only good thing about this place Cold at night (there was no extra blanket in the room), paper-thin walls, a hairdryer that didn’t work (we requested help before 5 p.m. on a Saturday, only to be told that no one could help us), a terribly dirty kitchen (to the point that I was afraid to touch anything), stains on sheets, and a safety deposit box that didn’t work. Basically, the worst quality we’ve experienced anywhere.

Brenda (6/5): - Close to beach and very clean It was freezing, couldn’t shut the air off, had to turn the stove on and open the door to warm it up, no extra blankets. Bed was OK. Extra pillows good No water in the shower and I have video trying to turn it on. Not just no hot water, no water. We traveled to help family and needed a shower and couldn’t get it to work. Either it was shut off or the valve was frozen shut while it moved no water came out. Very unhappy about that. 302 😡 correcting these two issues would make a huge difference in our opinion of the place.
Olha (1/5): Great location, but the lack of cleanliness, heating, and soundproofing made the stay very uncomfortable. - The location was excellent and very convenient. Check-in was easy and the exterior looked modern. Unfortunately, the soundproofing was extremely poor. I could hear everything from the neighboring rooms — snoring, conversations, and TV noise as if it was inside my room. The floors were dirty; I walked a little in white socks and they immediately became black. There were no proper blankets, and it was very cold at night. The heater did not work, which made the stay uncomfortable. The TV remote also didn’t work because the batteries were dead.

El estacionamiento bueno, conveniente y a precio razonable. - Mi unidad no tenia donde lavar platos o cubiertos, ni lo mas necesario. Se extraña esa facilidad¡ Mas es menos.¡! Mucha comunicacion previa llega de la propiedad, como entrar, codigos de acceso, como salir, estacionamiento, indicaciones, puerta 1, puerta 2, codigos de acceso, etc..¡! Creo deben simplificar y ser mas asertivos en la info que envian a los huespedes.

James (5/5): Needs a big improvement - A nice room with a comfortable bed has a lot of space and is very close to the beach You have to pay for parking or they will tow your car and you don't get to choose if you want to pay just for a night or two you have to pay the full fee and its 20 dollars a night if you have a hotel why should you have to pay extra for parking at a place you already spent a good amount of money to stay a couple of days and they don't accommodate you with nothing extra you have to bring your own supplies

Julian (7/5): Despite the shortcomings of no staff on site, this is a good value for money hotel. - Ideal location for Hollywood Beach No staff at the property. All contact was via message or email. This became a problem when trying to pay for car parking, the app that they have set up did not work. Despite trying to use it on three devices we had to call the help number. This was answered by a pre recorded message! Eventually, the problem was solved after a lengthy email conversation. If there was someone on site this could all be avoided. Not a good start to the stay. Although the apartment was self catering, there was no cutlery and no kettle, but there was a microwave, toaster and fridge!

laurent (2/5): AVOID!!! - Nice beach a few meters away No staff available, we arrived after 6pm so no parking pass could be applied for. Rooms were noisy, paper thin walls, we could „enjoy“ the fights and music in the neighbouring room, as well as cooking odours (fish…) Room was dirty (stains on bedsheets, hairs and dust on the ground) . Toilet was defect…we booked for 3 nights, cancelled our stay after the first night.

I booked the place through booking but never received any information on parking etc, there was no staff on site only on the phone. When I parked my car on the hotel parking area it was towed the next morning. Upon calling the hotel staff they refused to provide any help in this manner. I advice everyone to stay away from this hotel. Beach location
Arkadiusz (7/5): Good - + Great location 10 steps from the breadwalk and beach, quick check in (self service pin). - Expensive parking. Not possible to change room temperature or turn off the A/C (locked to 69°F, tried calling but it was not allowed to change the temperature).
Maria (7/5): Great location, serves its purpose, easy check-in/out, no frills. - The location is excellent. The description stated bbq on premise and there was none. Also no paper towel or hand soap was left on the bathroom (only 1 tiny bath wash, shampoo and conditioner) the mattress is this room is really bad and thin. Not very comfortable sleep.
Angela (8/5): Great location close to the beach and restaurants. - The location is very close to the beach and Broadwalk. The renovations were nice. We never saw a staff member while we stayed so I cannot comment on the staff. It would be nice if they provided beach chairs for guests to use. We asked if they could hold our luggage and was told it was not possible. We found out later that there is a business at end of Cleveland Street that will hold luggage for a fee.
Michael (3/5): Very disappointing, downhill since the change in ownership. - The upgraded room was larger and nicer. The contrasts between Hollywood Sunrise and Hotel Villa Europa, the previous name of this property, were stark in the most possible negative ways. We had stayed at Europa on at least a dozen occasions and sadly we will never return to Hollywood Sunrise. Europa was owned and managed by Luis who gave us a warm greeting and advice about what to do in Hollywood. Sunrise, in contrast, is managed off-site. The new management makes Coach Sabin, in the VRBO commercial, seem like a slacker. We asked to check-in 30 minutes early – request denied. We asked for a 1-hour late check-out – request denied. Previously we had free parking, now we had to pay $15 per day. On our last day, when going back to our room at 10:59 AM to get one last item, I found that we were locked out of our room by remote management whose clock was 1-minute ahead of my watch. Upon arrival we had a problem with the HVAC. There was no heat, and the AC was continuously on even when I had the system switched off. To deal with this problem, remote management sent over a young man who spoke only 5 or 6 words of English. And it was impossible to resolve the problem. We spent a chilly and very uncomfortable night in our room with a temperature of 62 degrees. The next day I complained even more vigorously and we were upgraded to a nicer and larger room. At Europa, Alejandro would carry some lounge chairs to the beach. This service is no longer offered nor are there any lounge or beach chairs for us to carry. However, they did have a 1-inch roach in our room. If you are thinking of booking Hollywood Sunrise because of fond memories of Hotel Villa Europa, don’t come back as you will be very disappointed.
Angela (7/5): Good - The pictures are deceiving. Makes room look much bigger but its really just a room with a bathroom. No iron no full length MIRROR, no extra towels when needed. Overall it was ok for the 2 nights. Definitely good for short stays. 2 days max. Biggest issue is the mirror. I like to check myself before leaving room. Overall 3 out of 5. Did not take pics. Was expecting alot more from pics provided. Location is great although you can't see the beach it is a 2 min walk. Please get a full length mirror and iron. Extra towels would be great also.
Americo (6/5): More or less - The decoration. The window behind the bed was not completely closed, so I couldn't sleep early in the morning due to the sunlight. I also had trouble opening the box to set the air conditioner temperature. Also, the towels were unclean, and I believe you should replace them as soon as possible. The room where I stayed had a door to another room, which limited privacy.

Stella (8/5): Great location! - Location! Next to the Broadwalk and all restaurants and shops! The room has everything you need, but unusual for Airbnb not to have kitchen. The room is tiny, but ok for 1-2 people. Not really a kitchen. Can't prepare food there. No sink, no stove, no utensils. We found it's unusual for Airbb rentals. Another very important thing missing is the hanging closet. No where to put your coats or ironed cloth. Only drawers.

No keys, just a lock code. No closet or full length mirror in room. I would have liked being able to speak/meet with a hotel front office employee. No pool on site or a shared pool available. Parking fee was expensive.

Was clean Room temperature was 69 degrees during the day and no way to warm it up and during the night temperature went up to 86. Having to pay $20/day for parking in the street. Couldn't adjust shower temp. Stuck on hot then handle fell off.

Over stressful trip. - Great location walking distance of the beach WARNING DO NOT purchase the Hollywood city’s parking permit! You WILL be towed!!!!!! I don’t understand why the hotel would offer two different parking permit options when one is for the hotel and the other one is through the city, it does not even say where to park! The hotel does not have on-site staff so I couldn’t ask any questions about parking. I paid $40 for the “parking permit” plus $165 to get my Flipping car back from the towing company and $45 dollars a day using the parking garage and park mobile. Night mare for anyone with a car!! This nightmare ruined my vacation!
