• Kihoon (8/5): - 단양 시내에 위치해서 구경시장, 아쿠마리움, 맛집 등 접근성이 매우좋고 공영주차장도 코앞이라 매우 편했습니다. 시설이 오래되었지만 관리가 잘되는 느낌이었습니다. 1층에 숙박했는데 공용공간이 가까워 투숙객들의 대화소리가 큰 경우에 좀 시끄러웠습니다. 전체적으로 방음에는 취약한 편인데 가성비 생각하면 만족스러웠습니다. 이 가격에 이정도 소음이 불만이라먼 돈 더 쓰시고 호텔가셔요. 개인적으로 국내 호텔 10만원대 컨디션보다 관리 잘되는 이런 게스트하우스를 선호하는 사람 입장에서 씁니다.

Marché et nombreux restaurants et cafés à proximité. - Charmante guesthouse, chambre propres et confortables. - Serviettes propres à notre porte tous les jours et des serviettes supplémentaires à disposition dans le couloir. - sèche cheveux et tout le nécessaire de toilette (shampooing, conditioner,...) - Frigo, micro-ondes, toaster, ... café et thé à disposition dans la cuisine commune - Possibilité de payer en cash ou par carte - Gentillesse de notre hôtesse - salle de douche un peu petite, mais cela ne nous a pas vraiment dérangées
• Melanie (10/5): - The location is so central (3-4 regular bus stops and the intercity bus stop) are less than 5 mins. away. Furthermore, you‘re right by the river and approx. 10 mins. away from the local food market. The owner is really friendly and easygoing and the kitchen is clean, has all necessary utensils and a fridge/freezer, which made it easy to save money on food! The bedrooms and bathrooms are really clean and you are provided as many towels as you need, a hair dryer and some toiletries (shampoo, soap, etc.). Additionally, you can check in whenever , as long as you’re fine with not being greeted in person, which was really useful to me personally!

The guesthouse is located close to cafés, shops and is within walkable distance to many lovely hikes. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Danyang again. Thank you!

• James Horse (10/5): 힙한 여행지 단양에서 가장 힙한 숙소 - 단양시외버스터미널 바로 길건너에 위치해 있어서, 다누리아쿠아리움, 구경시장, 고수동굴 등 주요 관광포인트를 도보로 이동할 수 있고요. 단양에서 가장 번화한 시내 한 복판이라 식당, 쇼핑할 곳도 많아요. 그럼에도 큰 길가에서는 살짝 들어간 골목에 있어서 조용하고요. 남한강과 벚꽃길이 펼쳐진 수변 산책로도 바로 앞이라 최고의 여행을 만들어준 숙소네요. 외국인 관광객들도 많이 이용하는 곳인지 공용공간, 로비에서 외국분들 진짜 많이 뵈었어요. 힙한 여행지 단양에서 단연 가장 힙한 숙소가 아닐런지... 티비가 없고. 냉장고가 공용이에요. 티비 없으니 여행와서 조용히 사색할 수 있고, 공용 냉장고에도 이름 써놓고 보관 가능하니 큰 문제는 아닌데, 불편하다고 느낄 수도 있어요. 그리고 다른 분들 후기처럼 방음이 취약한데, 다행히 매너 시간들 잘 지키셔서 숙면했어요.

• Lucy (10/5): Very enjoyable - The room and bed were very comfortable. It was also extremely well located. Even though the walls are a bit thin, the other guests were quiet and respectful. I would definitely stay here again, I really liked it! Though it’s fine and perfectly usable, the bathroom is a bit small, and because the doorway was the same height as me or a little smaller (I’m 170cm) I banged my head on it once when going in. It’s manageable, but please be careful!

Danyang is a beautiful town, surrounded by mountains with a river running through. The guesthouse is very close to the centre and the bus terminal. There are many cafes and restaurants in the area as well. The air quality in the room wasn't the best and I had to sneeze sometimes. But that's a problem I have in many places here due to the humidity.

• Nel Finberg (8/5): Cute and funky traveler guesthouse - A cute, small and proper space, my tiny room with a queen-sized hard mattress and small writing desk, as well as a big window overlooking a wall. A cute bathroom was included. The place has good lighting, hot water, wifi and AC. Walls are thin so if neighbors decide to be loud, you're not going to enjoy much rest. There is a small shared kitchen area and fridge on the main floor. The place has a funky traveler vibe and is at located on the northern edge of town, conveniently near the bridge and next to the bus station. The host is very helpful and as great recommendations and insights for travelers.

There was no staff at the reception at all and we had to handle check in and check out ourselves, and leave out baggage unguarded on the last day. However, the owner was very quick to answer and provide tips and help through WhatsApp. For information on hikes etc, the tourist information centre is just across the bridge and helped us a lot.

The location is ideal, being close to the main street where there's a selection of restaurants to eat at, as well as convenience stores. The room was spotless, and extra towels and toilet roll were provided if needed. The bed was super comfy. Overall, it's a great place to stay

They've got a handy map of local recommended places to eat + bus stop locations. Downstairs they have a bigger map + listings for bus times for all the places people would want to visit eg. Guinsa, Gosu Caves, Sobaeksan. Very helpful!

• Charlotte (9/5): Good place to sleep - Super comfy beds. Place has a chilled, quiet vibe. Great location for taking bus to national park and temple etc. I never met the owners, so I wasn't able to ask them any questions Luckily a guy staying there told me some info, which he got from a lady working at the aquarium. A bus timetable and some info iw available on the wall downstairs, so I needed a bit of help having it explained to me!

So it's important to be mindful of others when using the common area.
