• Andi (10/5): - Το διαμέρισμα ήταν εξαιρετικό περιείχε όλα όσα χρειαζόμασταν όπως και πάρκινγκ για το αυτοκίνητο. Όλα ήταν πολύ καθαρά και προσεγμένα. Η επικοινωνία με την ιδιοκτήτρια ήταν άμεση σε ότι χρειαζόμασταν. Η τοποθεσία είναι παρά πολύ κοντά στο λιμάνι με τα πόδια.

• Antoni (9/5): Spacious, well-equipped apartment, very pleasant stay - Really nice, spacious and well-equipped apartament. There was enough space for everyone and enough storage space for our stuff:-) Every room has access to the balcony, where we could hang our wet clothes or have a coffee at a small table. We only communicated remotely with the host, but she was always available and responded quickly, making sure we were fine. The apartment is near the city center, it was easy for us to walk to the beach, the city center or the bus stop for different outside tours we booked. Yet it was fairly quiet, the view onto the courtyard sure helped with that. Internet connection was good, even if our whole family used it simultaneously;-) Nothing really worth mentioning. A few minor fixes and improvements could be done over time, but nothing that bothered us.
• Sharon (8/5): Nice traditional Greek apartment in good location near Chania shops, restaurants, & bus station. - Excellent location and price for this clean, traditional Greek apartment. A large bottle of water was ready in the refrigerator for us upon arrival, along with local honey, raki, and olive oil, which was a nice touch. Nice bed linens and terrace with clothing line and clothes pins to hang bathing suits and beach clothes to dry. Excellent host with good communication. We stayed for a week. It took us a few times to get the hang of the old fashioned door locks, but that was part of the charm of a traditional Greek apartment. Good wifi connection. Plenty of closet space to hang clothes. Air conditioning worked good in both bedrooms. Energy efficient apartment that requires key to be kept in the slot by the door for lights and air conditioning to stay on. Shower worked well with good temperatures and pressure. Kitchen was fully stock, however, we did not cook any meals. It was a 5 to 15 minute walk to restaurants, shops, grocery store, pharmacy and KTEL bus station. There was a city bus stop across from the Civitel Akali Hotel on the next block over, about a 5 minute walk. We took the KTEL bus from their station to visit Elafonissi Beach on the western side of the island for $10 each way. There is only one bus that leaves at 9:00 a.m. and one bus for the return at 4:00 p.m., however, unless you choose to stay overnight there, which we did for one night. In Chania, we found some great restaurants off into the back corridors of the town that offered many non-traditional Greek dishes that were fantastic. Chania is a very safe town so feel free to wander around, despite the graffiti and appearance of certain areas. We had to relax our mind set a little to adjust to this. Wonderful trip and would definitely return to visit Chania again and this apartment given the location and price. Beds were hard. We are 55-60 years old friends traveling together. We doubled up the extra blankets found in the closet to help make it more comfortable for us. Apartment has a washer but we chose to use the local laundry mat to use the dryer as we were packing to move to our next city on our trip and didn't have time to wait for clothes to dry. The washer was an older model, but had good instructions affixed to the unit.

• Boyan (10/5): Exceptional - There were beach towels and a sun umbrella. The apartment had a convenient parking space. Very nice welcome with honey, olive oil and brandy. The little things that make the welcome and the stay extremely pleasant. The kitchen was very well equipped and stocked with utensils.
