Guest Reviews
- Gala-Witkowska (10/5): - Świetne miejsce na pobyt. Blisko do centrum oraz komunikacji. Czysto i przestronnie. Super wyposażone (lodówka, czajnik elektryczny, suszarka do włosów). Świetny kontakt z właścicielem, bezproblemowe zameldowanie i wymeldowanie.

- Ania (9/5): Lovely stay - It was a nice room in a central location, with two small balconies and all facilities, including a kettle and air con. I loved that there was a fridge in the room so we could keep some milk for our coffee. The coffee machine was just outside our room in the hall.
The owner was very obliging and helpful throughout our stay and stayed in regular communication. They ask if you want the room serviced, and they don't enter without your permission, but do respond promptly if you need anything.
The central location was handy as everything of interest was in easy walking distance - shops, museums, beach, restaurants etc. There is lots to see and do in Reggio. The Riace bronzes in the Archaeological Museum are well worth a visit. Sicily (Messina) is only a half hour ferry ride away, so plenty more options there. Unrelated to the hotel:
The central location is great, but means it does get very noisy at the weekend at night. Take ear plugs!
The beach wasn't the best. It is mostly shingle and there was a lot of debris lying around as well, so beach/swim shoes are advisable. Also, it can be quite difficult to find information about cultural events - there was some sort of arts festival on (there was a stage by the Athena monument) but we couldn't find any information about it.
There is no public transport to the airport between 7pm and 7am, so book an Uber or other transfer if you have an early or late flight.

- Nikos (10/5): Εξαιρετικά! -
- JoAnn (8/5): - The room was clean and comfortable The location is on a side street going uphill so need to drag luggage up.
Also many steps up to get into the room.
- Stefypic (9/5): - La posizione è la struttura Niente
- Lucas (8/5): - Propre, grand et très bien placé ! Le bruit de la rue. Aucune isolation lumineuse le matin ou pour la sieste. Lit trop mou.
- Gazzo (10/5): - Pulizia ottima camera nuova e ben arredata...posizione eccellente...
A 2 passi dal corso Garibaldi
- Elena (10/5): Soggiorno stupendo.

Bello, pulito, servizi top.
- Nicole (8/5): Convenient and clean accommodation is a great location - Great central location and super easy check in process The shower flooded the bathroom
- Emilia (9/5): - Praticamente in centro città; la camera era spaziosa e dotata di tutti i comfort. Bagno molto grande Nulla
- Peter (10/5): Perfect choice to spend few days in the city. - Very good location in the city center and close to the beach. The room was very clean and tidy. The room has two small balcony.
Perfect choice to spend few days in the city. Just a little thing. The room could use a small clothes dryer that can be put out on the balcony after a beach day. This is not important, but it will be good.
- Päivi (10/5): - The location of the accommodation was perfect. Good and smooth service. 🥰

- Maryann (10/5): HIGHLY RECOMMEND - it's convenient, clean, and the bathroom is beautiful! - PERFECT location! Owners are very responsive on WhatsApp, despite it being a remote/automated situation. Upon arrival, you press a button on the intercom to get in the building and they also buzz you into the room. There is a set of physical keys and a convenient key fob. Bed was comfortable. Heater unit worked great in December. WiFi tested 400 mbps, VERY FAST. I was working 6pm to 3am so I appreciated it. The chair was a bit uncomfortable, but this place would be perfect for a digital nomad. LOVED the balconies and all the light! Best shower, spacious, lots of hot water and good pressure. I was in heaven. The place was SUPER-CLEAN and BRAND NEW! I actually extended a night it was so nice! I paid around 55 euro per night. If it's available, book it ASAP! 10am checkout and someone was knocking at 9:30am! I was off to catch the ferry anyway, but heads-up!
- Falcon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sofi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margaret (8/5): The room was lovely with 2 small balconies. It was clean and comfortable - Parking was a problem. Street parking is very hard to find and we had to walk quite a distance back to the hotel after finding one several streets way
- Tobias (9/5): Good choice for a stay in Reggio's city center - - Recently renovated bed & breakfast right in Reggio's city center. Room and bathroom are stylishly decorated, lots of space in both of them.
- Everything was neatlessly clean.
- Conveniently located, all major sights of the Corso/Lungomare area are within walking distance.
- Breakfast (one choice of coffee and pastry per person) in a bar some 30 metres away included.
- Check-in procedure (all doors were opened remotely by the owner/manager) at first sight a bit anonymous and confusing, but in the end everything worked fine and there were no problems. - The rooms are on the first floor of a rather busy street right in Reggio's city center, so yes, inevitably you will hear some noise from the street. We stayed there on a night from Monday to Tuesday at the end of September and after 22:00, 22:30 the traffic stopped almost completely and the next morning, from what I remember, did not start extremely early either. So we found it absolutely acceptable, When staying there on a weekend it might be a different story I suppose.
- There is a very bright shining street latern in Via Giulia though which I personally found more annoying. Windows extend the whole way from the floor to the ceiling. Even though they can be covered entirely by curtains, a few uncovered centimeters at the floor and top level are enough for this latern to light up the dark room at night considerably. So maybe investing in blackout curtains would be a good idea.
No private/free parking opportunities nearby. Strisce blu (where you have to pay) parking spots are available all around the accomodation. The period where you have to pay is from 07:30 to 19:30, if I remember correcty, and is just 1 Euro per hour, so it was no big deal for us.
- Personally I found the pillows a bit too high and hard, but that's just personal preferences.
- Maria (9/5): Comfy, good location, manager always kind and available - Kindness and always availability to help.
Well cleaned. More small optional details may be needed: hungers in the bathroom, better hairdryer, a boiler and a coffee machine would be appreciate either in the room or in the small open space. Also, a lugguage deposit would also help.
- Katie (10/5): Very comfortable hotel with great staff - Clean, newly renovated and amazing staff. Great for families or couples. We have a young baby and they supplied a great cot & high chair. Paolo helped carry our bags up (there were many). Marzia is contactable all the time on WhatsApp for whatever you need. It’s very close to the beach, main shopping street and lots of places to eat. But still very quiet for sleeping at night or napping in the day. Breakfast is not listed as included but we were given a free breakfast everyday at their partner cafe/bar Miva just down the street which was super convenient. They were flexible at check-in & check-out. Would stay again in a heartbeat! Only negative is 2 flights of stairs to the first level of rooms but if you ask you can get help with bags.
- F (9/5): Superb - Excellent services, great location
- Silvana (10/5): very pleasant stay - Paul was a good guy
- Chrystalleni (10/5): Excellent host, room, location, ambience! Highly recommented! - I absolutely liked everything! First of all i have to highly congratulate the owner Paolo . This guy is very professional, very attentive, and present 24/7. I would personally like to thank him for his kind offer to help me during a complicated italian train cancellation route problem and his patient will to try to help me find solutions to travel otherwise. He is really an excellent host!
Furthermore, his rooms are of upmost high standards, brand new , very spacious, and with all the comfort and amenities provided. Cute small breakfast at the nearby cafeteria made my trip more sociable and got to meet the neighboring coffee owner hosts and practice my italian language too.(A very enjoyable cultural exchange delight that was). Situated in the heart of the city center, 1 minute from the busiest shopping street, 10-15 minutes from all major historical sights, and only 5 minutes from the Lungomare (main seaside promenade) and only 10 minutes from the Lido Reggio calabria train station which is really convenient if you want to have quick walking distance access to other small villages ie Schilla. It was the best choice to fill my vacation requirements. Excellent choice! I liked everything!
- Yutaka (10/5): Perfect. I would choose this apartment again for my next visit to Reggio Calabria. - Very clean and spacious. The location is also perfect to walk around the city. Nothing!
- Lee (10/5): Perfect location to stay in Reggio - Easy to access. Communication was really easy and I was helped with additional queries and any questions I asked were answered quickly.
- Judith (10/5): Clean, comfortable, quiet room in the center of town. - Clean, comfortable, quiet room in the center of town, within walking distance to attractions (museums, beach, port). Convenient to train station.
The host Paolo is very courteous and helpful, goes above and beyond
Continental breakfast at nice and friendly cafe on the corner, serving great cappuccino and pastries. All good!
- Kyal (10/5): Exceptional - The lady who owned a b&b was so nice, she was really polite and made sure we settled down well.
- Sylla (8/5): In spite of the nightly noise I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Palazzo! - Location, beautiful room, wonderful welcome! I was in room 1 on the corner of two streets with enormous and noisy traffic until 2 AM on Friday and Saturday. Some motorbikes were so loud that I felt the vibration in my bed. Quiet in the morning though. Room 2 seemed the quietest. It’s a wonderful place but be prepared for traffic noise!
- Tony (9/5): A convenient place to stay for a visit to Reggio Calabria. Close walk to all sights no the town, the seafront and the sh - Location perfect in centre of Reggio Calabria. Host (Paolo) very helpful - I couldn’t figure out the on street parking, he came across and did it for me Nothing
