• Bradford (8/5): A quiet comfortable stay close to the glow worm caves. - Good location close to glow worm caves. Mike was very generous with advice and even offering us undercover car parking during tempestuous weather. Bed was comfortable. We slept very well despite jetlag. Limited opportunities to hang clothing- a couple of hooks on a door would have done. No convenient indoor table for computer work. Limited breakfast options.
• Helen (10/5): - Perched on a high hill away from the town in a beautiful spot. Only 15 mins drive from the Waitomo caves. The rooms were quite spacious, really comfortable, and we were spoil for breakfast choices. Would definitely stay again, thanks for your hospitality! None
• Julia (10/5): Amazing hosts and beautiful property, very clean. - Very beautiful view from the property. The rooms are very clean and organized. The hosts are super nice and friendly! Sometimes there are insects in the room as the property is close to a bush.
• Kerry (9/5): We enjoyed our stay at Natthakan Heights while we were visiting Waitomo Glowworm Caves. - The host Michael was extremely friendly and helpful. Although he offered for us to use his washer and dryer, he graciously insisted on doing our laundry for us, and returned it clean and nicely folded.

• Richard (10/5): Amazing B&B - This is truly an exceptional space, large and comfortable, in a beautiful scenic location. The hosts are gracious, friendly, and welcoming into their beautiful home. Wish we had stayed here longer! A beside lamp in the twin room would be a nice addition. Other than that, it was one of our best B&B stays in all of all years of travel around the world.

Nat and Michael were wonderful, friendly, and so kind! Also, their dog Ellie and cat made the visit extra special! The view was exquisite and we even saw wild rabbits and lots of birds. They had every amenity you could think of: water, snacks, toothbrushes, soaps, fresh towels, a spa, and more! It was just so lovely! If you need to stay in Waitomo this location is a must!

• Chris (10/5): Peaceful stay with views and hot tub - A large apartment, with lots of space inside, and a hot tub outside with a fabulous view. Our hosts were very pleasant, as were their pets. There were many nice touches - the flowers, good breakfast selection, and a towel sculpture on the bed. A very comfortable bed too. Nothing

• Gleason (10/5): Incredible Stay with Lovely Owners! - Everything. Incredible views. Very clean space. Mike and his wife were so sweet. They did our laundry for us, left out little snacks all over the place, and even offered us to use their hot tub. I couldn’t have pictured a better quick overnight stay! If we are ever close by we will 100% be coming back.

• Mary (9/5): An oasis to enjoy. - It had been a long hot journey and the welcoming spa pool with wonderful view over the countryside was just what was needed. As was the lovely deck where we sat and enjoyed breakfast looking at the native bush and enjoying the native birdsong.

• Williams (10/5): Exceptional - Michael was a great host. I am visiting from Australia to look after two of my grandchildren took them to Waitomo caves. I just wished I had booked an extra night. Such a beautiful country property. From the spa at night the view is amazing

• Ray (1/5): Bad - On arrival the hosts said that the room was double booked. This was in spite that we had paid and our booking was confirmed. It was late afternoon and all we wanted was to rest. They told us they had a friend who was setting up accommodation across town and we could stay there. After a long trip we were too tired to think about it, we just wanted to lay down. We were the only guests at the property. The 'double booking' hadn't arrived. The hosts had reneged on our contract and offered no compensation.

• Caroline (10/5): Exceptional - We had such a lovely time in the spa enjoying the view! The property has a beautiful garden and they kindly left us plenty of food for breakfast. The dog was adorable!
• Jeffrey (9/5): A wonderful stay with caring hosts who literally made us feel at home. - There were many positive aspects to our stay. 1. Great views above the valley 2. Fantastic hospitality 3. 24 hour use of the spa in an awesome setting 4. Get to play with the family dog 5. Large parking space to ourselves 1. The driveway takes getting some use to in a large car 2. The living area in the guest house was small without it's own kitchen, other than a microwave. This meant relying on the hosts' kitchen for cooking, who welcomed us openly to use whatever we need, even to eat in comfort at their table with amazing views. The brochure description does in fact mention shared kitchen, which is slightly misleading as we assumed this meant sharing group facilities with other guests. After assuring us that we were not imposing, sharing with the hosts (who stayed right out of our way) was excellent.

• Kirsty (10/5): Lovely setup overlooking farm land and bush - Very comfortable bed, welcoming hosts, nice views over the countryside, loved the spa. Really enjoyed sitting outside for breakfast with bird song in the bush next to the room. Simple breakfast supplies of cereal, toast, plenty fruit and yoghurt. And even a little bottle of wine and beer plus juice which we didn't have but appreciated them being supplied if wanted. Friendly dog! Long driveway that was very narrow towards the top that made me nervous driving up. Fork in the driveway needed clearer directions as to which way to go, we decided to go right that luckily was the correct way. There was a sign there but not visible until you started heading that way. Truck noise from road below surprisingly loud
