• mike (9/5): Lovely cottage for a unique Christmas break - Lovely quite location, cottage was everything we hoped for. Great for visiting this part of North Yorkshire (we went to York, Knaresborough, Ripon, Brimham rocks, Ripley castle Richmond and ,ofcourse, Fountains abbey!) Lovely local pub too. Made for a special Christmas break Maybe a microwave in the Kitchen and a bit more kitchen cupboard space to keep groceries in. A USB socket or two might be handy!

• Pieter (9/5): Lovely retreat for a few days away. - Spacious and comfortable, A good shower. Mini welcome pack to help that cuppa tea on light night arrival. Quiet location immediately onto footpaths and short walk from the village. Good to have 'dog-friendly' accommodation Underfloor heating a nice touch. Good location for the wider region - Harrogate, Ripon, Grassington and The Dales. Personally we would have liked a bit more kitchen storage space and ideally a bigger fridge. We brought a lot of food down as staying for a few days and were keen to cook and dine in but limited space. Not an issue if you would be eating out.

• Alan (10/5): A beautiful spot for a weekend getaway - The cottage was immaculate, lovely and cosy, perfect for a winter getaway and a great base for a weekend exploring the Yorkshire Dales. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful too.

• Charlotte (10/5): beautiful property, gorgeous surroundings, very welcoming host - Cottage was in a great location. close to both Harrogate and Ripon, and also fountains abbey. Helen the owner was really friendly and welcoming. cottage itself was really well presented. bed was comfy. property is also dog friendly. although the property is dog friendly there is no outside space attached. however this would not stop us from coming back as property was not near a road and there was open space (cricket ground) next door
