Guest Reviews
- Alan (8/5): Farm stay close to Little Haven - A compact but comfortable room in a quiet and pretty farm setting, within a few minutes drive from the beautiful Little Haven. Views of surrounding rolling hills. Very clean and neat, and well provided with hot drinks and snacks, and fresh milk in a small fridge. Soap and shampoo in the shower also appreciated. Key box entry, so very private. Very pleasant stay. No major issues at all; water pressure in shower could be better!
- Stephanie (10/5): Lovely! - Perfect! Cute, cosy and comfortable. Well decorated, well stocked with everything you could need and only a 15 min walk away from little haven where you’ll find some lovely pubs and access to the Pembroke coastal path. Nothing:)
- Johnny (9/5): -
- George (10/5): Exceeded expectations - Clean, really nice room, great location. The best place to stay with great value for money.
- Amanda (7/5): If staying in Little Haven again, I would choose to stay in the village for the full ‘quaint sea side village experience - The Booking ranking of 9.0 is misleading. I believe a 7-7.5 more accurately describes accommodation.
While everything was satisfactory, it did not give a ‘luxe’ 9 vibe.
Host, Darren, was certainly hospitable. Misleading rating.
BBQ and plates offered but these were dirty/unusable/dangerous.
- Geoffrey (10/5): Lovely room, great location. - Lovely location with great views. Spotlessly clean and very helpful host. Comfortable bed and excellent shower. All you need.
- Leah Pierce (9/5): A very comfortable stay! - This is the second time for me to stay here and I had a lovely stay once again. Darren was so helpful and hospitable. Loved the walk through the woods down to Little Haven! The location is so peaceful.
- Terri (8/5): -
- Ben (10/5): - Lovely place, room had everything we needed, and only a short walk into the village!
- ROBERT (10/5): This is a gem, lovely accommodation with everything you need, a ten minute walk from the beach and pubs. Lovely room wit -

- Beverley (9/5): - Everything was clean and comfortable
The host was very helpful . It was a bit further away from broad haven than we thought .Down a very narrow lane.
- Jane (10/5): Perfect - So comfortable
Excellent. Care and communication from owner Nothing
- Toor (9/5): Great location and facilities to stay for our Skomer island adventure! - It was just what we were looking for, the double room had great facilities with a bath and shower cubicle as well as the fridge and little freezer for our ice blocks. The was plenty of space for us and our one year old, in a beautiful part of Wales. The garden looked great too although we didn’t stay long enough to make use of it. N/A
- Sian (9/5): Wonderful few days - Very close to beautiful Little Haven
- Williams (10/5): Exceptional - Room was clean and comfortable. N/A
- Leah (9/5): Comfortable and clean - great value for money! - A beautiful tranquil location near Little Haven. The place was homely and very clean. Even nicer than the pictures portray. Darren had thought of everything to make the stay comfortable : )

- Sally (10/5): Peace and quiet and puffins - Beautifully presented, well kept and very clean. The location was just a quick walk in to Little Haven and so quiet. I would thoroughly recommend staying here for peace and quiet but also for proximity if visiting Skomer Island and surrounding area - it was perfect.
- Irena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (7/5): Good - Comfortable double bed, space out
- Kathryn (6/5): Pleasant - Clean
Location
Great directions and answered our questions promptly No place for people to sit. The bunkbed was basically in a hall. No room for luggage.
Much smaller than expected.
- Colin (9/5): Peaceful - No breakfast taken. Very narrow roads but worth it. Extremely helpful owners. Excellent accomodation.
- Robbie (9/5): Nice and private peaceful getaway - Nice remote location N/a

- Chenhaoping (10/5): Great peaceful house at the coast. - Very great house, with 3 beds, suitable for family traveling. The backyard garden is huge, very nice to play inside. The household is very thoughtful, has provided the milk, coke, and water in the fridge, and coffee and tea before our arrival . Very good view for the ocean! Can see the coast from the house. None.
- Jozef (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice room with friendly owners. Very good!
- Scheul (10/5): Great stay, very good value for money, thank you! - The location is amazing! The views and the garden is great! The 2 owners are very polite and helpful and accomodated our very late arrivals.
- Gareth (9/5): WAY more positives than negatives. A pleasant stay - Lovely view from the top bungalow
Beds comfortable
Complimentary drinks and biscuits were good, the extras in the fridge were a nice touch
Large garden for kids to run around in
TV has Freeview
Fast internet Tricky single lane roads to get there, you need a confident driver in your party.
The park in the garden which was available needs updating, few bits broken/missing.
Shower leaks a little from the doors, not a big deal
- John (8/5): The room provides everything you need for a short stay by the sea. - Good. Clean. Exactly what it said Nothing
- Cath (7/5): Good -
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - Very cosy and quitely located as well as very clean appartement with all you need for some days. 15 minutes walk to Little Haven with nice beach and bars. Fast WiFi.
- Matt (8/5): The stay was comfortable, it was clean and it was reasonably priced. - The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Our host, Mark was very helpful and attentive. We had suffered a minor breakdown and he offered to reschedule our stay if we were unable to make it. He then gave us a bottle of wine on our arrival to help us relax after the ordeal. We left the wine as I’m sober, but it’s the thought that counts. He also guided us into the property as our GPS took us slightly off piste but we sorted out a what 3 words between us so it shouldn’t happen again. All in all it was a lovely stay. No floor mat outside the shower cubicle, the shower itself was a bit small(I am a bit of a fatty to be fair).
It was difficult to find but with help from Mark we made it so a positive really.
- Elaine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julian (9/5): A welcome place to take a break. - Lovely quiet location, bed comfortable, 15 minutes walk to the village. Room nice, with fridge + milk, cola, chocolate free. Nice bathroom and big windows. Host v easy going, friendly. Would come back. Would have liked access to a kitchen to make food for packed lunch.
- Leonie (10/5): A beautiful accommodation near the picturesque harbour town little haven. - Spotlessly clean room with very comfortable beds and tastefully chosen textiles. The accommodation is lovingly decorated and offers beautiful views of the big garden as well as the incredible landscape surrounding the house. We were warmly welcomed by our exemplary host Darren, who was very helpful in giving dinner recommendations and facilitated our check-in with flexibility and great communication. Thank you as well to Mark for answering any questions on the days before our arrival.
- Sándor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christine (10/5): Relaxing, comfortable and a wonderful getaway. - A lovely location - quiet but in easy walking distance to Little Haven. A beautiful room - comfortable, spotlessly clean and surrounded by trees (almost like staying in a treehouse). A private garden with a table and barbecue. And wonderful, welcoming hosts. We thoroughly recommend staying at Woodvale. Nothing
- Andrew (8/5): very pleasant love the area - cleanliness of room was very good. People very helpful the location is where you definitely require a car
I would prefer fresh milk in fridge for making tea
