• Pat (10/5): We had a truly wonderful stay and appreciated the wonderful customer service. Genuine hospitality. - Plenty of space and very well equipped. The daily service was a lovely surprise, to receive fresh towels etc. Really grateful for pickup/transport from station and our luggage was taken directly to our accommodation. Drop to station on our day of departure was also facilitated, and we were very grateful for this. Exhausted with steps not realising we could access lift with key, which fortunately we learned on last day which helped with luggage.

• SYAHIDAH (10/5): Must stay in Grindelwald - Love how this is the apartment section of Eiger soul and mountain resort so there is daily housekeeping of made bed and new towels! Kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans with Migros nearby as well as Grindelwald First. Apartment so spacious and the views of Eiger all around so beautiful, balcony is huge and bed is soft! Parking is paid at 5CHF daily

• Catriona (10/5): Spacious chalet in a fantastic location - The chalet was spacious, clean, maybe a little dated but that added a bit to the charm. View from the balcony was amazing. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location for the train and the lift to Grindelwald First. The washing machine was not in the apartment but downstairs and needed Swiss Francs to use which we had to get. One of the reasons I booked the chalet was for the sauna but on arrival we realised it was a naked sauna (no swimming costumes). Not in our comfort zone so we didn’t get to use unfortunately. This should be clearer on the booking information.

Para quem não se importa com decoração mais velha, é uma ótima opção. O chalet precisa de uma reforma e updates urgentemente. Móveis nada confortáveis e o teto precisa de uma reforma, além de cortinas velhas. O banheiro precisa de reforma, e um deles é no andar de cima, cuja escada nao é kids friendly.
• VivMB (7/5): Great location but villa needs refurbishment - The location is hard to beat, right in the middle of town. The gym in the main hotel is fantastic, the daily complimentary teatime cakes and coffee is very nice. Very spacious villas. More furniture is needed, especially lamps in the villas. Villas are far too dark and definitely need refurbishing. Bathrooms are still 70s-80s. The sofas are not very comfortable.

The staff is welcoming to have prepared a birthday card and candies for a member 1. The dishwasher was broken so there’s some minor inconvenience 2. No locks for bathroom doors 3. Only one washer and one dryer for the whole building, making it time-constraining 4. There were only four coffee capsules, not enough for all adults booked for the stay.

Chalet in-house service ensured cleaning of chalet, making of beds and replacement of bathroom towels on a daily basis. The only thing that could do with improving was the lighting in the living room area that was somewhat dim.

Probably this was specific to the person who was manning the reception desk when we checked in. Though this person was helpful enouh to allow us access to one apartment 3 hours before checkin, did not accompany us to the apartment nor provide us proper directions. We were scrambling for about 15 minutes before we could find it.

• Goran (9/5): Excellent location, panoramic view, great value for money, much cheaper than staying in French Alps - The appartment was very big and comfortable for us (5 people + 1 dog). 3 double rooms, 2 bathrooms, big balcony, great wi-fi, beautiful view on the mountains, very spacious, comfy beds, silent for sleeping, hot/cold running water at any time, good heating, big choice of parking (indoors/outdorrs), everything was perfect. Usually we rent the apartments with more soul and spirit. This one was missing that feeling. Totally clean and empty. Even the set for fondue was not there, so we asked the reception and they brought one very quickly. Usually we would find some board games, books and other things left by numerous guests who were staying there in the past. This one was just empty. Even the kitchen furniture was half empty and the coffee machine was not Nespresso, but some Delizia, so we didn't have the correct capsules after we drunk those 4 offered by the resort.

Most of the property experiences aligned with expectations from booking with property details provided. I feel like was was asked about my demographic details more times than I can remember before arrival which was aggravating and could be streamlined better in my opinion. Further, finding the parking lot entrance from the main street can be a little difficult, and using Google or Apple Maps to pin the location can be misleading, the property could detail the entrance better on its website and offer a map pin with specific about the driveway being one lane and to watch for the red light alerting of oncoming traffic.

Not clean - there were even some previous guests' personal items left in our room. Not well equipped kitchen - the faucet is broken. Wait for a long time to check out - They called the house keeper to check whole apartment, and it really wasted our time.

We were booked at chalet eigersunna but didnt know we have to pass thru the hotel with a different name but under the same company. 😑 also there was a weird smell in the balcony hence we were not able to utilize much.

• Grace (9/5): Best bnb I have ever stayed - Excellent location and excellent service. It is located in the main street next to a supermarket and close to trains/cable car stations. The hotel also offers free pickup/dropoff service from/to the train station. After checking out all my family members got a free bottle of homemade fruity tea from the reception. The chalet aparment is exactly same as the photos, huge and well furnished. It has 4 bedrooms and every room is large with a large double bed. The balcony is right facing Eiger and the fantasitic slope. It was the best bnb I have ever stayed. Highly recommend! The only shame is there is no washing machine.
