- Erik (10/5): Probably the nicest place we stayed at in all our trip to Georgia - We were so lucky to have found this place! It's in a quiet village, the cottage is an interesting mix of old stones and concrete - great architectural ideas and some lovely details. The room, bed, and bathroom all are absolutely comfortable. Breakfast is abundant (thank you Temur king of the porridge and Ira queen of the scrambled eggs!) and we also got a very nice dinner without having requested it beforehand. The owners are maybe the kindest people we have met during all our trip to Georgia and speak VERY good English, so we talked a lot, but they are not overbearing and give you privacy if you wish. The view from the room is lovely and so is the garden. A 4x4 and navigating skills are helpful (G*maps will lead you to the wrong side of the river), but I think it would be possible to have the owners pick you up somewhere. And it is very easy to find some hidden gems off the beaten track from here. Next time we will stay longer!!
