Guest Reviews
- Katy (10/5): Perfect peaceful break - It was lovely, bright, clean, comfortable
And in a lovely location. It had everything you could need with responsive helpful hosts.
- Adriarn (10/5): Tranquil and warm on a cold winters day! The house has everything you need to relax and enjoy with everything in walking - It was beautiful so tranquil N/a
- Selena (10/5): Wonderful cottage to relax and enjoy the surrounds - Beautifully styled and cosy, (we stayed in winter) attention to detail, wonderful selection of books to read. Combustion fire with lots of wood. Very comfortable bed. lovely bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival. Nice gardens.
- Paul (9/5): Well worth considering if you are planning an east coast visit in Tasmania! - Millingtons House is full of character. In a good way! Older architecture with modern amenities made us feel very relaxed. Unfortunately we only had a very short stay, so not a lot to comment on about the accommodation or location. Although our group was three adults, I did notice that there was a good selection of family games, etc. The supplied continental breakfast was enjoyed by all of us. The complimentary G&T was definitely appreciated after a day on the road. Not sure I would change anything!
- Margherita (10/5): Beautiful. - Beautifully designed interior, layers of soft furnishings and personal touches. Soft plush towels, linen bed linen, thoughtful breakfast delivered. Warm on arrival with fire lit. Cozy in winter evening. Very good communication with property owner. Nothing. Wished we had stayed longer.
- Josh (10/5): It felt like a lovely home. - One of the best equipped homes I've stayed in. Really well thought out from the kitchen to the furnishings. There was plenty of quality and personality shining through.
- Loni (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable, quiet, clean, beautiful home. River views, short walk to the beach in one direction and great food options in the other direction. Complementary breakfast was excellent. Sophie is an amazing host. Thank you so much for being pet friendly, the property is fully fenced with a great backyard.
Highly recommend Millingtons House.
- Janet (5/5): The weather was great and we walked all around the bay. - Location great for lots of beach walks. We would have been happier with a plug in kettle, easier for us. The microwave was high up for shortish folk.
- Rachel (10/5): The cutest house on the Esplanade, beautifully appointed, cozy and warm with great and generous added touches. - The most beautifully styled and comfortable accommodation in our trip around Tasmania. Little touches like the fire being lit, complementary breakfast and gin made it very welcoming. No seperate toilet for a mixed group - but that was a small thing and we were aware.
- Deb (9/5): Fabulous home in a great place. Highly recommend. - The decor was fabulous, the linen was high quality and the little surprise touches a real treat. Nothing comes to mind
- Eva (10/5): it was a comfy warm rest away from home - lovely! - The breakfast was a delicious surprice my daughter had trouble adjusting to the linen sheets! not used to them - mum and dad had no trouble with them!
- Tegan (10/5): Cosy and relaxing - Millingtons had everything we needed for our stay, such a perfect location with a short walk to the beautiful beach and river directly across the road. The beds and couches were so comfortable and the entire home is gorgeous.
- Dee (9/5): Beautiful accommodation with every comfort and detail taken into account. Highly recommend. - An excellent location. Accommodation was beautiful. Comfort and cleanliness were exceptional.
Sticks for fire, complimentary gin on arrival, netflix, menu for local cafe all excellent touches.
Plenty of heating options. More toilet paper :)
