Guest Reviews
- Tulp (3/5): Slecht - Dat er bussen daar reden Geen kookgelegenheid, toilet ruimte lekte
- Mohamed (10/5): Thank you for an enjoyable and fun stay. - My stay at the Emerald Apartments was very pleasant and enjoyable. I didn't get to meet the owner but I did get the pleasure of meeting the the manager, Ms. Ibett San Juan Ulloa. She was exceptional in proving anything that I requested. I had the pleasure of meeting her family and it was a pleasant experience. I will definitely return to Emerald Apartments on my next visit to Guyana. Thank you Ibett. The power went off a couple of times but was only for a short period. The water pressure was a little low but functional.
- Irene (9/5): Value die - Location, close to everything we needed. Hospitable.
- Tracey (9/5): - The host , she was very welcoming, I feel at home.
She did she can to make my stay a good one. I think it was good value for the price. Maybe an ac in the living room area would have been nice, but there is one in the bedroom to keep you cool.

- Allicock (10/5): - Love the room and staff was great. Would definitely book again
- Oriscia (9/5): Superb - Even tho it was a short stay it was cozy
- Maxine (8/5): Great first stay in Georgetown - I could walk to everywhere I needed to go. The
apartment was sweet and the owner and family were so accommodating.
- Jaleel (7/5): Good -
- Hartman (8/5): My stay was wonderful - The ac wasn't cool enough
- Aundre (5/5): Passable - The room's aroma was welcoming, and the location was perfect. I also appreciate the point of contact for checking the reservation periodically. The tile floors were cold, and the beds left much to be desired in terms of comfort—they felt quite cheap. Ants were running rampant in the kitchen, and the state of the toilet was unacceptable. There was no water pressure to handle flushing properly, forcing me to resort to the old-fashioned method of filling a trash can to dump water into the toilet. Overall, I definitely won't be returning to this establishment.
- Helen (9/5): Good apartment in very expensive Georgetown - Pros: Great location - a little bit outside the very noisy city centre. Minibus #40 stops right in front of the apartment building and takes you down to Stabroek Market for 100 GD ≈50 US cents. It's managed by a super friendly and helpful Cuban family. They even took us to the airport for a much better price than the taxi companies. The apartment was clean and comfortable. 2 Lazy boys with coffee table, breakfast table with chairs, large balcony, small bedroom without windows but good Aircon. Hot water in the shower took a while to come through.
Cons: Kitchen was only equipped with a microwave and kettle, so you can't really cook in there. Restaurants and food are expensive in Georgetown compared to all other South American countries. And the whole building wobbles every half an hour. It's built on sand and trucks on the main street cause vibrations. Feels like a little earthquake and might be the same with other buildings in town too. We were on the 2nd floor, no lift.
- Jan (8/5): All in all absolutely okay - Nice host. A very good Indian restaurant nearby (250 m). Instable wifi. Air conditioning only in the bedroom. However, you could quite well cool down the living room/kitchenette with the bedroom airco.
