Guest Reviews
- Julie (5/5): It was reasonable but more expensive than our other stays. - Pretty cottage. The dinning area was comfortable in the cottage but we didn’t get to eat there as we had to go over to the Randy Leprechaun for breakfast.
The proprietor was cheerful friendly and welcoming, helping us with onward travel. Room was a little small, the shower needed refurbishment.
One guest didn’t find the breakfast appetising and it was inconvenient to go next door in the rain.

The atmosphere and naturalness of the place and its position as we were on the Tom Crean project - learned about him on an Antarctic visit. Would have loved some Irish music on one of the nights

- Zahrah (8/5): Very good - Very easy to access the property and find. Hosts stayed until I arrived as I arrived a little outside of check in hours. Breakfast was ok and pretty basic and didn’t like that I paid 10 euro for a very basic menu. Facilities were clean and comfortable and staff was very friendly.

Friendly village. - Location was perfect as we were a short drive to Dingle but this village was much quieter. The host was wonderful— he was knowledgeable about the area and had an amazing sense of humour. The facility was very very clean and the breakfast excellent! We were in the handicap accessible room ( wasn’t necessary) and as such showering was entertaining with water everywhere but that was a small issue!

- Philomena (7/5): I wouldn't recommend this place. - I had a nice breakfast.....down the street!! The hosts didn't give me breakfast cos I had forgotten to order online, so that was very disappointing for me. I asked them the night before but they said they had a tour coming and couldn't accommodate me The accommodation was nice but I was left with a bad vibe because they wouldn't do breakfast for me. Eventhough the hosts I met were pleasant, there was no sense that they cared whether I had a good experience there.
- Jonny (8/5): Fun stay! - excellent property and easy to locate. Very comfortable with an excellent throwback vibe Never saw the staff, unable to communicate with owner/manager and struggled to locate key to room. However I booked through booking.com (3rd party) last minute and the owner may not have been aware of booking?
- Arthur (2/5): Bed and NO Breakfast - The hotel didn’t serve us any breakfast. When we asked they simply said they were not doing it. We paid and got charged for a full board and breakfast. We received no breakfast but room was OK.
- Catherine (4/5): Disappointed - The rooms were clean and the shower was nice. Unfortunately, this was not a good stay for us. For a start, when booking the photographs suggest you are booking rooms in Inspiration Lodge, however, on our arrival we were greeted to say we staying at the adjoining property called Brackloon Lodge which is definitely not as visually appealing and could use some paint on the interior walls. This should be made clear when booking. There were no bath mats provided for any of the rooms we had booked which is not safe and one of our rooms had no towels at all in it. When the issue with towels was realised we were unable to contact any staff (I tried the number in the property we were staying and sending a message on the Booking.com app). There was no easy way for us to raise the issue with the towels and no staff around which is pretty poor - the limited staff that were on site seemed more preoccupied with a larger booking that arrived just after us. We also had no tea / coffee facilities in one room.
- James (5/5): Average - It was clean and comfortable There was no staff person to greet us. The door was wide open and no one was in the facility. The owner showed up to give us the key and then we never saw him again with no explanation about not serving any breakfast or who to give the key to.
There was no breakfast.
- Emily (5/5): OK B&B but not welcoming. - The students working there were nice. The room was comfortable with blackout blinds. It was quiet and relaxing. Nobody lived at the B&B and this was a problem when the fire alarm went off during the night and took some time to rectify. No breakfast available despite mention on website. Mould on blind in bathroom and shower needs to be grouted.
- Emile47 (6/5): New but very impersonal B&B - Everything looks new. All the facilities you wish for are present in your room. Good beds / shower. There is hardly any staff present. Finaly found someone to check us in. We had to prepare our own breakfast in the morning with only tea, toast and butter available! There was no one present for check out. We just left the keys on a desk in the hallway. Not very inspirational.
