Guest Reviews
- Roberto (9/5): Superb - The onerous so nice person
- Andrew (5/5): My wife & I only used the toilet & bed, this apartment is difficult to access, not tourist friendly - The apartment is comofrtbale and functional and greta for an overnight stop over for businesspeople.
but not for tourists who want to sit in and relax.
This is merely an overnight bed. The caretakers never responded to whatsapp or email. Thye never proved photos, only excuses when we eventually met.
No invoice for the city tax, merely a request for payment.
The owner is nowhere ever to be see/communicate and has chosen indifferent purely transactional company to hadle keys.
I cannot recommend this as a tourist venue.
Cusaotmer service is not in their vocabulary.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Spacious apartment, central and comfortable - We had a lovely stay in this penthouse apartment. It has everything you need as a base to explore Genoa from. The building is currently undergoing exterior renovations which were not a problem as we left early each morning and returned in the evening. The apartment itself is very spacious with a large, comfortable bed and a sleeper couch in the living room. The bathroom is large but the shower is small, but adequate. The kitchen is equipped with all the basics but had no dish cloth for drying dishes. There is a washing machine but no dryer so you need a day to let your clothes dry on the provided drying rack. There is also a dish washer but you will need to buy dish tabs for it. Both the living room and bedroom have separate air conditioning units and they work so well - which was very welcome after hot, hot days out. Communication with the owner was sketchy at first but very responsive after we made contact. Tip: A couple of days before your arrival date, I suggest that you contact the owner through whichever app you used to book it. They communicate through WhatsApp, so give them your contact details and let them know directly your expected arrival time. Someone will then come to meet you outside the building to show you around and hand over the keys. The apartment is a 20 minute walk to the lighthouse (there is no public transport to get you there), and a 3 minute walk from Genova via di Francia train station and you can catch buses 1, 7 and 20 from a stop just a minutes walk just up the road. I highly recommend this apartment. It would be helpful if there was an instruction Manuel for things like how to use the wi-fi, the stove and with information on where to catch the nearest trains and buses, etc
- Lucille (3/5): Poor - The Unit was clean. Enough blankets. He met with us and showed where the unit. There is renovations going on in the building. Forget about taking siesta (nap) during the day. Extreamly noisy drilling hammer. It's out of this world.
They should change the bed. Mattress is finished Sleeper couch was fine. No kettle to boil water. No airconditioning. And no response when we asked.
- Abdelrahman (7/5): Good enough, could’ve been better. - The host was very nice and accommodating, the apartment is clean and in good condition. The building is quite old and have a small elevator, also there are renovations being done to the building which was very inconvenient and annoying, we were woken up by the sound of hammering and a lovely worker on our window doing his job, it wasn’t a pleasant morning at all.
