From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and top-notch service. The guesthouse itself was beautifully decorated and had a cozy, home-like atmosphere. My room was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I had a great night's sleep every night. The staff at the guesthouse went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. They were always available to help with any questions or requests I had and were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location of the guesthouse was also ideal, for us Overall, my experience at Steynmond Guesthouse was truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I will definitely be returning in the future. Magnificent

Steynmond Cottage was a real haven during the warm summer days. The cottage is fully equipped and attention to small detail is clearly visible. Sundowners on the patio / stoep a must. Location is just perfect. All was perfect.

• Belinda (10/5): An exceptionally comfortable stay - highly recommended! - We had a wonderful overnight stay. The cottage was well appointed, had everything we needed, immaculately neat and clean, both indoors and around the property. There was even a carport for the vehicles right next to the cottage. The location on the farm was perfect and quiet. The picturesque views were especially beautiful at sunset and sunrise. Our host, Annaleen was super efficient and friendly. We appreciate the easy directions communicated to us, as well as the special touches on arrival such as tea, coffee, milk and rusks. The bedrooms were well furnished and the beds really comfortable and warm. We would highly recommend a stay and will definitely be back. We struggled to get the one shower to stay consistently warm but did manage a quick in and out; the other bedroom's shower was perfect, so better luck next time.

Our hosts graciously left milk and drinking water in the fridge as well as rusks, tea and coffee and a lovely bottle of local wine. It was much appreciated. The cushions were super plump, which my husband loved, but I would have preferred something a little flatter or that I could flatten and mould.

• Muzdee (9/5): Superb - The aircon as the northern cape is extremely hot and the fact that Loadshedding does not affect your stay as they have solar as backup. The gravel road, but it was not long and the fact that the sofa room was not cleaned under the sofa. However, one could still sleep in it in that condition.
• Merel (10/5): Amazing, look no further! :) - It’s a beautiful cottage, with so much attention for details. There is a fully equiped kitchen, lovely fireplace/braai, the scenery is amazing. The hosts are so welcoming and kind, I would really recommend to walk around at the farm. The cottage is spacious, very clean, beautifully decorated and the climate control is very steady. We love staying here, one of the best places we have ever been! Only downside was that we could only stay for one night, you can easily stay for a few nights and relax with the most amazing views! We enjoyed the local wine that was waiting for us in tje fridge, they provided water and milk and we received some delicious grapes from the farm! This was the perfect stay, thanks Annaleen!

• Vimbai (10/5): Short but sweet stay in the most stunning accommodation I've stayed in in a while! - The crisp 👌🏾 linen and all the modern furnishings. The kitchen was beautiful and so was the lounge area and of course the bedrooms! Our main bedroom shower took long to drain.
• Valcke (10/5): Exceptional - Where do we start about this property. It's beautiful,clean and spacious. Very well decorated. You get the best view and spectacular sunset. They grow grapes, and we get to walk with our kids in the far. Oh, and the dogs ! They are so adorable and lovely. Best nanny ever for the kids :). We will definitely be coming back here, but next time for a longer stay. Everything was perfect

• Emma (10/5): Gorgeous 5 star cottage on vineyard - The cottage is set on a beautiful vineyard with an epic view overlooking the fields with mountains in the background. All the furniture and fittings in the cottage are brand new and super luxurious. There is solar power to avoid loadshedding. The cottage comes with central aircon. This is definitely a 5 star rated stay and therefore super value for money. The hosts are wonderful.
• Petro (10/5): Unique and stylish - It was a quiet place away from town with a beautiful lookout on the vineyards. VERY well equipped and modern. Recommendation: convert the study into a full bedroom.

It was super comfortable and the fact that we did not experience any loadshedding due to the solar backup system was a huge bonus, which ensured that we could use the air cooler any time of day or night to make our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable! Our hosts was the most amazing and kind people who made our holiday a memorable one. We will most certainly stay at Steynmond Cottage again, it felt like our home away from home.
