• Martin (10/5): ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! - The VIEW! The view from the apartment is stunning. Everything else is just perfect. The location is ideal and the property is super clean and light and bright. Best of all is host Francesca who is fantastic with help, tips and communication! If you can get in, just book this place!
• Helen (10/5): Living the dream in an apartment that is perfect! - This apartment is perfect, from its location overlooking the sea at the port of Monopoli to the actual living space. We loved a morning coffee looking out at sea on the balcony and a limoncello on the sofa in the evening, again looking out at sea. We got up for sunrise which was spectacular! The apartment had excellent facilities and was spotless. If I was to be critical, the showers aren’t very powerful but that’s a tiny thing!

• Keleher (10/5): Lovely apt in a very quiet building. Unbeatable location. - Very clean, simple decor. The view out of the windows is all you need....stunning! Seaside apartment. Can watch comings and goings along the seawall walkway, hear the waves, steps from restaurants, shops, etc. My recommendation would be to provide extra toilet paper and bags for the trash/recycle.

• Csáthy (10/5): - The location and the view is awesome. Bars, restaurants, shop are in 1 min walking distance. Nice flat and helpful host. Easy check in and out. The Sunrise is a must see from the balcony!
• jeanette (8/5): Lovely stay in monopoli - Property was in a top location, really central to heaps of restaurants, wine bars and the beach. The apartment itself was really spacious and comfortable. Lots of stairs to get up to the room , if you have heavy or a few suitcases it’s really tiring. There were two showers in the apartment which we great but super, super small, some may find this difficult to use. The washing machine also didn’t work. However the host organised one of her coworkers to try and fix it which was lovely, it still didn’t work however they did try their best.

• Tanya (9/5): A perfect apartment near the sea - The flat is in a perfect location in the historic city center with sea views. Francesca was more than accommodating and is a great host. No complaints. The balcony is slightly smaller than what some of the pictures suggest.
• ROBERT (10/5): A stunning apartment with amazing views - Absolutely stunning apartment. Fantastic location with amazing view. Just like the pictures but better. Right on.the front and easy walk to everything. We'll equipped kitchen. So spacious and comfortable. Everywhere so clean. Host met us at the property to explain everything. Would definitely recommend. Absolutely nothing for us. You do have to park outside town and walk in which was fine for us.
• Maria (10/5): Wonderful sea view and scent of fresh laundry - The most wonderul sea view one can imagine - exactly what you think of when you dream of a sweet apartment in coastal Italy. Simple yet homey interior. Super clean! Loved the two bathrooms we had - very useful. Fantastic property manager, Francesca - helpful and professional! Would definitely come back. The apartment is right above a popular walking promenade that gets very loud on Saturday nights. If you’re an early sleeper and you’re planning on visiting during the weekend, make sure you get your earplugs.

• Aliginer (10/5): what a view - the view from all windows overlooking the sea, The apartment seemed bigger and brighter than the pictures show, lots of room in both the bedroom and sitting area. 2 good bathrooms and a great bed and pillows we slept really well soothed by the sea. The kitchen was fully equipped but we ate out every night. great location for everything Monopoli has to offer. it's easy to point out personal niggles but we had no issues that affected our stay

The vies from the property were stunning and the apartment was very clean and spacious. The host also helped us to arrange taxi at much lower price than uber offer. Thank you Francesca. I would definitely like to come back as this seems to be the best spot in Monopoli.
• Vanja (9/5): Excellent place in beautiful Monopoli - Agreed the arrival time via Whatsapp with the owner, Francesca, and she met me, gave me the keys and explained everything. This place has a second to none location in Monopoli. Overlooking the sea, just a few minutes walk from the restaurants and shops, small supermarket literally 3 min away. The entrance to the building is from a lovely small square. So in the centre of Monopoli, but just slightly hidden away from the noise. The apartment is large, clean, has 2 bathrooms and a balcony. The bed is really comfortable and the kitchen is equipped, with a coffee machine. Watching the sunrise from the balcony is something else. It is on the second floor, but the staircase is wide. Francesca is lovely and always available on Whatsapp for any questions.

Very good value for money - highly recommended. The washing machine didn’t work well despite the owner arranging for someone to show us how to use it. On our last morning no hot water. Lots of noise until early hours of the morning
• Janet (10/5): Excellent location, fully furnished apt. - Excellent location overlooking the quieter side of thr harbor. Tons of restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Exceptionally clean with a full kitchen. We were there over the weekend and the locals like to hangout at the harbor right outside the building till 2-3am, so it does get noisy. Better once the windows were all shut. But it'd also great if you want to hear the sea waves! Very relaxing. Also, no elevator, and the unit is on the 2nd floor (climb 2 sets of stairs since ground floor is 0 floor)
• Oana (10/5): Beautiful apartment with lovely sea views - The location is excellent! Close to everything and you can go swimming right in front of the flat. You can also see the sun rising over the sea from the balcony which is an amazing experience. The flat is beautiful, clean and well equipped, and the host is extremely helpful and friendly.

• Felipe (7/5): Beautiful view with a hefty charge - The view was amazing The air conditioner from the bedroom only turns itself on past midnight, which is extremely uncomfortable during 30-degree summer nights. Leaving the window open is not a great option. Even though we are facing the sea, the air circulation is not well and the noise coming from the restaurants and bypasses is super loud.
• Andrew (7/5): Could have been great but days later I’m still disappointed - Great location and the room had everything you could need for a short stay. Coffee machine was a bonus and the view from the balcony was beautiful Ok there’s no such thing as perfect but we have stayed in some that come close. This could have been one of them but the bed was hard and uncomfortable. We only slept on it for two out of the four nights however as the aircon in the bedroom decided not to work. It was pretty hot weather and aircon is a non negotiable as far as I’m concerned. Francesca was really proactive and brought a technician in to have a look but I think that’s all he did. So anyway the place had a lot going for it in terms of location, the view and amenities, but I didn’t travel all the way from Australia to sleep on the floor in the lounge room.
• Donna (7/5): Good - Location, view over the sea, spacious for a family of 3 - 2 bathrooms a bonus. Our host was very patient in waiting for us when we couldn't find the location. A few more utensils would have made our 5 night self catering stay more comfortable - unlikely to be an issue if only staying a night or 2. E.g Scissors, peeler, a few dishwasher tablets, serving spoons, tongs, spatula, sweeping brush, pegs etc.

• Edgar (9/5): Great and spacious choice for Monopoli with amazing views. - Dimora Frontemare is perfectly located in Monopoli, 5 minutes from the entrance to Borgo Antico, where you can park your car for free and pretty close to your stay. The apartment is spacious, clean and with a splendid Sea view, on both living room and bedroom windows. The sunrise and moonlight seen from the balcony are incredible. The stay is close to great restaurants, cafes and bars. Great base as Monopoli is very well located and easily access to many other cities in Puglia on a short distance. I highly recommend it.
• Michelle (9/5): Seaview sensation - The location of this property is exceptional! You could not ask for better in Monopoli. The feeling of seeing that beautiful azure water from every room and hear the crashing of the waves just puts you in another space entirely. It was great to walk to everything right in the old town. Not much to not like really. This is an older building and therefore does not have a lift. But this is exactly what you come to Monopoli old town for. Living in historical spaces! The stairs did not bother us.

It can fit four but if it’s for anything longer than a night or two, it may be a bit small for the four people it sleeps. It’s very clean and comfortable and communication was good. Monopoli is really beautiful and we’d recommend this as a great place to stay. Nothing - although we prefer a slightly softer mattress.

The location and views were amazing! Close to all the restaurants, bars and shops. Some issues with electricity but Francesca sorted immediately. Bed was hard but maybe that’s a personal choice.

She is a food critic writer and Was able to get us a last minute reservation into a absolutely fabulous restaurant. Our trip was 12 days with only 3 nights in this location, and that meal was by far the best meal of our trip as well as the best location and lodging. The views were unbelievably breathtaking and the location was in the center of the old town. Everything was right there. There were seaviews from every room! Absolutely fantastic!! 💯 Nothing... loved everything

• Bernadette (7/5): Good - The location and sea view are excellent. Listening to the waves crashing was lovely. You are right in the old town with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Our host was friendly. The apartment was clean and had the basics (dishes, cookware, etc.) Paid parking is nearby. The bed is rock hard. Unlike some reviews said it is not a double or king bed, but two beds pushed together. The apartment lacked some of the little things that make an apartment rate higher. Such as - enough toilet paper for the duration of the stay, hand soap in the washroom, salt and pepper, oil, a few coffee pods. If a person was staying for a longer time they could buy these items, but for a stay of a couple nights it's nice to have the basics provided.

• Susan (9/5): Lovely place with wonderful views! - We had trouble finding where to park but we called the host and she helped us. The view is FABULOUS! Great location in the heart of things. In Italy, the first floor is what Americans call the second floor. I have a bad knee so the stairs posed a problem and the hightest flight doesn't have a handrail. This is the fault of the building, not our host.
