• Thomas (9/5): Everything was amazing apart from the WiFi that stopped working after the first day, be aware of the steep walk up the h - Everything except for WiFi and location were great. The WiFi stopped working and the hill to get there was tough, but that’s just the reality of Sarajevo.

• Daichi (10/5): - A clear guide to self-check-in via WhatsApp. Conveniently located near Baščaršija. Excellent facilities. Lovely interiors and a charming courtyard. And warm hospitality from a kind hostess. She even treated me to some bananas and biscuits. Highly recommended. The location is convenient, being about a 10-minute walk from Baščaršija, but you do have to climb a steep hill. However, given the topography of Sarajevo, that’s to be expected. I didn’t find it a problem.😊

The location is perfect, just - The location, aesthetic, overall facility state and of course the friendliness of the owner - it all made our stay perfect! There was nothing not to like! • ljiljana (10/5): Sjajni, komfprni i na odlicnoj lokaciji apartmani, sa stilom opremljeni, besprekorno odrzavani... - Vec cetvrti put odsedam u apartmanima "Sarajevska mahala". Apartmani su u predivnoj kuci, sa dvoristem, na odlicnoj lokaciji, desetak minuta pesice od Bascarsije ili Katedrale. Vlasnica apartmana, gospodja Srebrenkaa je jedna izuzetna osoba, sa kojom se sve lako dogovorite i koja je apartmane odlicno opremila sa puno ljubavi i stila. Sve sto vam je potrebno, i vise od toga, imate u apartmanima, koji blistaju od cistoce. Takodje, gospodja Srebrenka moze da vas poveze sa osobama, koje mogu da vas odvezu do Visokog, da posetite Tunel Ravne, kao i Mostar. Do apartmana se nalazi pekara sa vrucim somunima i doruckovati ih u dvoristu je pravo uzivanje. Kad kod budem dolaazila u Sarajevo, samo cu ovde odsedati! Sve m i se dopalo!
• Fatih Mehmet (10/5): - Evin konumu turistik yerlere yakın tatlı bit mahallenin içiydi. Sokaklar dar olduğu için park etme konusunda biraz sıkıntı olabiliyor. Baş çarşıya, karedrale yürüme mesafesinde fakat dik bir yokuş çıkmanız gerekiyor 😌 Oda son derece temiz ve konforluydu. Ev sahibi son derece ilgili ve kibar. Minik bahçede muz, çikolata gibi tatlı ikramlar bırakılmıştı. Fiyat performans deneyimi oldu. Tavsiyee 👌🏻

Siamo rimasti piacevolmente stupiti dalla presenza del servizio giornaliero di pulizia e di ordine in camera. Srebrenka é stata gentilissima con noi, ci ha fornito ogni comfort necessario per goderci la vacanza.
• Ibrahimovic (10/5): Beautiful quiet apartment - The apartment looks exactly like the pictures. It's beautiful, spacious, and has everything you might need. (I was very happy to find extra blankets!) The courtyard offers a nice, quiet place to sit. The location is very close to the city, but far enough that it's peaceful and quiet. I definitely recommend the somun from the bakery on the corner! It's fresh, delicious, warm and cheap. There is also a grocery store nearby. Srebrenka is a kind and beautiful person who will show you lots of hospitality. She brought me to the train station at the end of my stay and helped me where I needed it. I would definitely stay here again and recommend these apartments to anyone. It's a 10 minute walk from the city, but getting back up the mountain is definitely a workout! To me, it wasn't a problem. For someone else, it might be something to consider.

Srebrenka, la proprietaria, sebbene solo telefonicamente, è stata gentilissima e disponibilissima. Un posto che mi sento assolutamente di consigliare !

• Elizabeth (10/5): Amazing stay with an amazing host! - It’s been awhile since I wrote a review here though I’m using the booking.com whenever I travel. Our host Sylvia has been nothing but wonderful. Though having a code to get to your booked apt is convenient, having someone to meet you and explain and show you the facilities and connects with you to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible, she made sure we had the support we needed while in Sarajevo. She even dropped us off to the bus station going to Mostar, which we greatly appreciate. The apt itself is very cosy, you have room to move around, there’s a little cozy outdoor sitting area. everything that you need is there From coffee, juice, cooking oil to salt etc. there’s a small bakery next to the apt that sells fresh samoon. there’s also a small grocery on the way to the apt. The apt is a quick 7-10 mins walk to Bascarsija ( straight road) if we ever come back to Sarajevo we would definitely stay with Sarajevska Mahala. Thank you so much for your hospitality! Nothing.

• James (10/5): Exceptional - Second time staying at sarajevska mahala. Its such a beautiful property and the host srebrenka is so helpful. She is always attentive to my needs and only a WhatsApp message away. I stayed with my baby son and my sister and she was happy to arrange transfers from the airport with late check in and late check out for us. Very quiet area, situated 10-15 walk from the centre but it is a uphill walk to the property so be aware if you have mobility issues. There is a bakery for bread next door and a shop probably 5 min walk downhill. So many beautiful mosques nearby for prayer and hajji sinan's tekke is just across the street for dhikr on Thursday after maghrib prayer. Will definitely stay again if i get the opportunity to return to sarajevo

The apartment itself is a perfect blend of modern amenities while still preserving the charm of traditional Bosnian architecture. It made for a unique and authentic experience that really enhanced my visit to Sarajevo. Highly recommended! The only minor downside was the location. While it’s close to the city center, there's a bit of a hill to climb every day. It’s not too difficult, but it might be something to consider if you have mobility issues. However, the view and the overall experience definitely made it worth it!

• Osman (9/5): Excellent stay! - The host was very friendly and helpful. It was traditional Bosnian house in old town but newly renovated. All things were new and clean. Kitchen has all you need. I love the balcony. It was so relaxing to sit at night with only cricket sounds with a cup of tea. Although the property is close to the city, the road was too steep! And black tea was missing:(

All I knew was location was ideal, extremely clean and excellent host from the reviews. The host was phenomenal. It's like you have arrived to your family, the way she takes care of you. It was raining when we arrived and she insisted on coming to the bus to pick us up to save us from the wet walk and drove through the sarajevo traffic. On Eid she got us home made baklavas, I can go on. I have also seen other guests also looked after above and beyond. Apartment is exceptionally clean, two door away you can get the most delicious fresh bread, must try! Thank you Srebrenko for your kindness and hospitality. We hope to see you again!

The owner was so kind and made anything possible for us to have a comfortable stay during our visit. She is one of the bests! :) Thanks for all once again and hoping to meet again <3 The house was quite centrally located, but there is a small slope when returning home from the city center. Therefore, walking might be a bit problematic for the elderly or those with health issues.

Rooms and bathrooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. Also, the apartment's host, Srebrenka, is an amazing person who made our stay very pleasant. Arrange for a transfer from the airport to the apartment with the hosts. They will do their best to assist. My husband and I were happy here and would like to come back! All was great

• James (10/5): Exceptional - Helpful and friendly host who were more than willing to make sure we were comfortable and our needs catered for. Offered us a driver to pick us up from the airport for 15 euro or 30 marks. You will benefit from taking the offer as the drivers at the airport charged us 50 marks so we made sure to use their driver on our return to the airport. The check in is from 3-4pm but she allowed us to come at 1pm which was well handy. Nice quaint property with outside courtyard. Good wifi. Quiet and clean neighbourhood with beautiful views. Many local masajid with women's areas (except for jumu'ah salah) for those that pray There wasn't anything i didn't like. However, its a 10-15 minute uphill walk from the city centre which my wife struggled with a bit so take that into account if you are coming with those that are not as strong or with small children because the pavements are practically non existent and you will have to keep your wits about you for cars coming. Also, the hot water comes from a tank so be mindful if you have a wife that stands in the shower too long because you will end up with a cold shower after :)

Owner has been always caring and reachable and giving good recommendations The apartment is like in the pictures and even more, It's well equiped Bed is very comfortable The courtyard gives the chance to meet with other guests and nice conversations where held there sharing experiences, çay or sweets.
