• Mounia (9/5): Parfait pour ceux qui cherchent un logement calme, propre avec tout le confort - La chambre est propre, spacieuse, équipée de multiples rangements et baignée de lumière. Le logement est situé à l’intérieur d’une belle cour. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et toujours disponible. Une machine à laver est à disposition pour faire sa lessive. Le quartier de Patan vaut le détour (temples, sites historiques, cafés, restaurants, shopping)
• Liudmila (10/5): A Gem of a Place in Lalitpur - The homestay is peaceful, clean and comfortable, located next to a monastery in a small quiet courtyard in the historic Patan. The rooms are modern and well-appointed, have plenty of beautiful natural light, and the beds are very comfortable. The hosts are most kind and helpful but not intrusive. -

• Jenny (10/5): Feeling at home - Everything! Very clean, well located and with all needed for a comfortable stay. Nothing in particular. Just one thing about the listing that I mentioned to the owner that can be misleading: it’s not a private apartment. It’s a room with attached bathroom in a 5 story house, very comfortable and with a lot of privacy and access to common spaces that are very well maintained.
• Solheim (10/5): Quiet, stable place with a kind, respectful family, perfect for building a simple, focused routine. - I stayed at Maitreya Homestay for over a month, and it became a really steady and grounding place to live. The environment is calm and simple, which made it easy to focus on my own routines—meditation, training, and work. There’s a natural rhythm to the place. Mornings are quiet, the family goes about their day, and you’re left with space to do your own thing without being disturbed. The family running the homestay is kind and respectful. They’re there if you need anything, but never intrusive. Over time, you start to feel part of the place rather than just a guest passing through. Location-wise, it’s well situated—close enough to everything you need, but still peaceful. If you’re looking for something social and high-energy, this might not be it. But if you want a stable, quiet base where you can live and focus, it’s a very good place to be.
• Neil (10/5): The best decision I made in my time in Nepal was staying here - Truly an exceptional experience. This really is a genuine Homestay with a very kind and charming Newari family inviting you to be part of their household (totally different from many "homestays" that are really just small guest houses/bed and breakfasts). The host family were exceptionally helpful with local recomendations and logistics as well as detail on local history and Newari culture. The house itself is modern, comfortable and with great wifi for those needing wanting to work away (I measured 90MB/s download and 55MB/s upload which was more than ample for video calls and remote desktop). Guest kitchen and usage of the washing machine and roof terrace for drying laundry were also a big benefit. Whilst the family do like to lock the inside gate at night for security, they ensured access, so attending a local friend's evening wedding reception or heading out for a sunrise hike were no problem. The location itself is really good - Patan is less chaotic than Thamel but has ample restaurants and shops and still easily within reach of central Kathmandu for the attractions there. It's also well located for daytrips to Bhaktapur, Kirtipur, Khokana and Bungamati. The highlight was sharing a meal with the family and the other guests - wonderful food and fascinating company. I hope to return one day.

А главное - потрясающая семья, которая готова встречаться за чашечкой домашнего чая чтобы пообщаться, рассказать о Непале и местных традициях.

• Atremii (10/5): Lalitpur's hidden gem - Amazing homestay with very welcoming and understanding host. The house itself is freshly built, located in a small courtyard right next to a temple. Everything inside is new, clean and well maintained, best quality/price deal in Lalitpur without any doubt!
• Tom (10/5): A hidden gem! - Chyawan and his family are lovely! They invited me a couple of times for tea and for the Nepali New Year's celebration. The room was spacious, modern and very comfortable! Also the nights were very quiet without barking dogs around the corner! It's a great location and great value overall! Thanks a lot for the wonderful hosts you and your family are! The internet could be a tad faster if you need to make a lot of use for work related activities.
• Suryamsh (9/5): I will recommend people this place as and the people are too helpful. - The place was very near to durbar square and very easy to get into places. I really liked the people’s gestures.
• Tian (10/5): I had a great time and felt really comfortable during my one month long stay. - The family were very accommodating, and the host always tries to help you out when you need it including holding onto my luggage and helping me with my luggage up and down the stairs. Whenever there were any issues , the host addressed it very quickly. The location was perfect in Patan with just the right amount of tranquility. The living space and my room were really clean and had everything I needed. Laundry is also free, which is a plus. This was just the perfect place for a month long stay. The host would prefer you to be back by 9:30pm but still accommodated my later return time. This may not be your place if you want to have guests over.
• Shikhar (10/5): Had a wonderful weeklong stay. - We stayed on the third floor, which had a large south-facing window to warm the room during winter. The house is clean and the hosts were receptive to our needs and queries.
