• Jesus (9/5): Would do it again. Perfect place to launch daily excursions, walks, etc. - Efficient, centrally located, comfortable, basic amenities, super helpful host. I “discovered” there was a laundry room when I checked in. Had I known, would have packed less. I probably missed it in the website.

• Richard (4/5): Renter beware if you are on the ground floor and have a sofa pull-out bed. - Locations. I don’t know if it is a Booking.com error or Baldur Apartments. It states two beds. I did not see that the second bed was a sofa bed which was very uncomfortable in a room with NO black-out curtains. It was sleepless in Reykjavi due to the previous comment along with the occupants above walking loudly.

Globalement le ménage est insuffisant, le canapé lit est sale et inconfortable. Si vous souhaitez cuisiner le matériel est insuffisant 3 assiettes pour 4 personnes... pas de hotte aspirante la moindre fumée en cuisine déclenche la sirène du détecteur de fumée, ensuite le vigil arrive... Notre logement a été loué 2 fois à la même période que nous, nous avons du aider les informés clients à trouver un hôtel car le propriétaire ne leur a trouvé aucune solution. Nous n avons pas eu d excuse du loueur pour le dérangement.

Second time we have stayed and is great for central Reykjavik. It would be nice if the flats had ovens but we knew that before going. Other than that the kitchens are well equipped.

• Ivonne (8/5): Insgesamt eine schöne Wohnung in toller Lage mit nur kleinen Schönheitsfehlern. - Der übermittelte Türcode funktionierte leider nicht, aber telefonisch konnte das Problem innerhalb kürzester Zeit gelöst werden. Die Ausstattung ist wirklich gemütlich und geschmackvoll, die Lage ist super! Das Bad ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen ; die Spiegellampe ging nicht und ein Türknauf der Duschkabine war nicht vorhanden. Als Handtuchausstattung gab es drei Badehandtücher, allerdings nur ein kleineres Handtuch für Gesicht und Hände. Und die Jalousie im Wohnzimmer war kaputt, so dass man diese nicht mehr als Sichtschutz herunterziehen konnte. Alles Kleinigkeiten, die nicht schlimm waren, aber verbessert werden könnten.

• Venstra (7/5): - Comfortable and quiet place that was central to enjoying down town. No working WIFI, a requirement for our stay to due to the necessity of remote work. I requested service, while staff was responsive, the issue was never fixed.
• DK (9/5): - Really nice, clean, spacious apartment. Close to the bus terminal and most of the visiting places in reykjyavik City.
• Ying (8/5): - Detailed and useful informations were given in advance. Although the entry code was not functioning, we had to call for another code. One night the fire alarm was on, and it kept going on for about one or two minutes. One of the neighbors was maybe cooking and triggered the alarm. A security guy was send to check the situation, which made us feel safe. We were advised to keep the windows open because the heating system requires so, and we can hear everything that happened on the street.

Check-in was hassle-free using the door code, and it was easy to find the apartment thanks to the helpful video guide and clear instructions. Highly recommend!
• lee (8/5): 적당한 가격대에 좋은 위치의 숙소 - 위치가 시내랑 가까워서 좋고 랜드마크 주변이라 찾아가기도 쉬움. 필요 물품 추가 요청하니 몇시간 내로 처리해줌. 거실 바닥이나 샤워부스 하수구쪽 청소상태가 좋진 않았음. 처음에 체크인할때 알려준 비밀번호로 들어갈수 없어서 호스트에게 로밍 전화로 연락해야했음. 정확한 번호 제공 필요함.
• Daniel (8/5): Baldur Apartments - Great location, right next to Hallgrimskirkja. The apartment stayed nicely warm no matter the weather outside. The room was nicely presented and well kept with a kitchen that was adequately stocked with appliances and kitchenware. There was a hair dryer and dishwasher available. The laundry room is shared between tenants but I didn't struggle to find an available time to do my laundry. The WiFi did not work. There was no extractor fan for the hob, and the smoke detector was situated above the kitchen so we had to be very careful when cooking. The code to enter the apartment did not work initially, but it was sorted out after a quick phone call. The twin beds were actually a conjoined twin. There is no dedicated parking so you will need to pay every night for public parking.

• Sophia (8/5): We had such a great experience and would stay here again! - We initially had issues with our given code not letting us into the apartment, the host quickly found us and let us inside. He then promptly sent us a new code! It was very easy to contact the host and we always received quick responses! He was very friendly and made us feel welcome into Iceland! We obviously didn't like that our code didn't work initially but it was rectified so quickly!
• Antoinet (7/5): Het was een prettig appartement op een handige locatie maar wel gehorig - De locatie dichtbij het centrum en bezichtigingen was fijn. Het bed in de slaapkamer was prima. De keuken zag er netjes en vrij compleet uit Bij aankomst bleek dat we de verkeerde code hadden ontvangen via de mail. We konden niet naar binnen. Na telefonisch contact werd het snel opgelost. Het toilet rook naar urine bij binnenkomst. Het lukte ons niet om dat op te lossen. Er waren geen schoonmaakmiddelen en ook geen toiletborstel. Omdat we raampjes open moesten laten ivm de aardwarmte waar het appartement op is aangesloten, was het gehorig. Voorbij lopende mensen, gepraat, auto’s werden goed gehoord.

Also, the fire alarm is very sensitive according to the notice of the host - we dare not to use the stove, only use the oven to prevent any accident.

• Anja (8/5): Sehr zentral und alles was es braucht - Die Lage war sehr zentral und trotzdem relativ ruhig, das Appartment schön und zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Bin nicht so ein Fan von unpersönlichen Checkins, lief aber alles problemlos. Wäre schön gewesen, wenn wir vor 15 Uhr hätten rein können oder wenigstens das Gepäck abstellen. Ansonsten nichts zu bemängeln.

• Mary (7/5): Excellent location in the heart of downtown Reykjavík - Excellent location, large apartment that was decorated nicely. We were thankful to have access to laundry. It was a comfortable stay in the heart of downtown Reykjavík. We were on the lower level, and there was a lot of street noise, and the building was also particularly loud, especially during the night. Also, there was a kitchenette we were afraid to use as there were signs warning us that the fire alarm was easily triggered when using. So we didn’t cook at all during our stay.

• Jessica (10/5): Awesome for a family of four to explore Reykjavík and the surrounding areas of Iceland. Would 10/10 recommend - Excellent location, easy to walk everywhere. Apartment was clean, modern, felt safe and did I mention the location. Parking was easy, zone 3 parking is just 2 short blocks away and we had no trouble finding it. It was great, just a slight odor in the bathroom but it was clean and good water pressure for showers.

Comfortable enough for 2 adults and 2 kids TV was in bad shape, pillows were old and flat

Parking around the property was expensive. It would have been great to have maps or visitor guide included. English instructions for using the dryer and washing machine would have been very helpful.

• Madeleine (9/5): Would definitely stay here again. - Location was excellent- within walking distance of lots of shops and cafes, could hear the cathedral bells. Was quiet and clean. The kitchen was really well equipped, the apartment was lovely and warm. Hand soup and shower soap provided. The internet was patchy and went down for a day during our stay- however the host was easy to contact and worked to resolve the issue. Luckily the area had pretty good data reception, so we were able to use one phone as a hotspot.
• Arun (7/5): Centrally located apartment in Reykjavik but very expensive for what it offers. - The fact that it was so close to the shopping area and to many of the must see sights in the city. It was pretty cramped...what with the sleeping/sitting/kitchen areas all crammed into the same space. The less said about the bath/rest room the better as two people couldn't be in there together.
• Anastasia (10/5): A fabulous and cozy apartment in the heart of Reykjavik! - Amazing location! The apartment is located right in downtown Reykjavik, and everything you need is within walking distance. The apartment, while small, fit my family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids under 12) comfortably during our visit. For US people, do note that the apartment is still *very* small! I know many of us are not used to how much more compact things are overseas, but once you look past that and realize what this place offers, you won’t regret it. We were able to walk to get groceries, coffee, gift shops, bars and restaurants in less than 5 minutes which is exactly what we needed. We love to explore cities on foot and this location did not disappoint. The area felt extremely safe and at no point did I ever feel uncomfortable with the area with my kids. The hosts provided laundry detergent for the washing machine in our unit which was awesome. Goods are so much more expensive in Iceland and I didn’t love the thought of packing detergent for our trip. The bathroom had a hair dryer which was very much needed since the dual voltage “international travel friendly” dryer I brought was very much under powered. Coffee pods were also provided in the unit as well which was so nice and appreciated after our red eye flight! All in all, this apartment was fantastic and if we ever visit Iceland again, I will definitely book this place again! Honestly, everything was great!

• Suguru (9/5): 清潔でおしゃれな部屋、観光地やバス停へのアクセスが良い - Hallgrimskirkja教会（バス・ストップ8）や市内の観光地の近くだった。ツアーバスはバス停でのピックアップが多いのでバス停に近いと便利。ランドリールームに洗濯機と乾燥機、洗剤があったのも重宝した。乾燥機はExtra dryにしないと生乾きになるのでご注意を。 部屋はボタン式のロックを解除して入るタイプだが、解除の仕方が分かりにくかった。また、ボタンが反応してくれない事があり何度も戸惑った。
• Liping (10/5): Right in front of Hallgrimskirkja - Location is great, right in front of Hallgrimskirkja. Easy to navigate to shopping area and most tourist attractions from there. Room is very clean and has good lighting. Balcone gives an interesting perspective to the street. Be careful cooking since there is no extractor, we triggered the fire alarm when frying eggs for breakfast. All in all, awesome accomodation!

One thing that surprised me was the housekeeping even rolled up the hairdryer cable, which I only saw in hotels, never in apartments, very impressed!

• Elena (7/5): Perfect location! - Very spacious property with a central location and good kitchen. The wifi didn’t work for the majority of our stay and the staff were very slow to fix it.
• Emily (10/5): Fantastic trip, wish it had been longer - The apartment was superb. It was modern, clean, very comfortable, and in a perfect location. Access was effortless, and the location was perfect: We were within walking distance of all the main tourist areas. I would stay here again and would recommend the apartment without question. Nothing ! I wouldnt change a thing
