• Joe (10/5): Gladstone Cottage - Gladstone Cottage was excellent value and totally immaculate. It had everything required for a pleasant stay. The little additions of milk etc was most welcome. The owners Paula and Lewis were exceptional and very helpful. The garden was totally enclosed and great for our dogs. It was less than half an hour from Stafford Showground where we were attending a dog show although only stayed one night would highly recommend the cottage and hopefully we will return if available. Nothing to dislike if I was to add anything a small clock would be an idea but just a suggestion.

• Sam (10/5): Great hosts and fantastic property - A spotless quiet and private cottage with all the comforts of home. It’s very convenient for Alton Towers( the purpose of our stay) with a shop, pub and chippy on the doorstep. Would definitely book again.

• Lucy (9/5): - Great spot, peaceful and secluded. Very clean and comfortable. Ideal with the dogs as it has enclosed garden space and walks round JCB lakes on the doorstep.
• lavery (10/5): Lovely comfy stay - Paula and her husband were very friendly and helpful. Myself and two granddaughters stayed at the last minute. Everything was lovely, clean, and homely. As we arrived late we had a walk to the shop and fish shop which was lovely and tasty. My granddaughters took the double bed and said it was so comfy. I had the sofa bed and surprisingly was lovely and comfy too. I will definitely stay again. There is a little private garden outside the patio doors with furniture. Can't wait to try that with a morning coffee when we get better weather. Nothing

• Drew (10/5): Lovely hosts, clean cottage, we’re coming back! - Lovely and clean, had everything we needed, towels, kitchen stuff, shower gel etc. Very friendly hosts, off road parking and shops/pubs nearby.
• Helen (10/5): Great house near Alton Towers - Location, close to Alton Towers. Very friendly hosts. Very well equipped little house. Dog friendly. Secure parking. Lovely touches of milk, tea, coffee and shower supplies were in the property. Slightly cosy for 4 people. We were out most of the time, so it wasn't a problem for us.

• Pilar (9/5): Comfy little house for a night stayed in our trip - We arrived very late to the property and they were waiting there for us. They were friendly and the house very comfortable. Anything we needed!
• Claire (10/5): Brilliant - Just perfect in every way! Immaculately clean, very modern and tastefully fitted out with quality furniture and facilities. It has a big bedroom with a double bed and large wardrobe, a comfortable sofa bed in the living room and a dining table and 4 chairs. The shower room is also big with a great walk in shower. The kitchen has an oven, microwave, kettle and washing machine. Towels and basic toiletries are provided, as is a tea/coffee tray and a cute bottle of fresh milk in the full size fridge. It’s only about a 15 minute drive from Alton Towers, which is why we stayed there. There are two convenience stores just a stone’s throw away and a fish and chip shop practically across the road. I think there is also an Indian close by and there is a pub a few doors away. The hosts are really friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend and I’m currently thinking of a reason to go back for longer! Nothing at all

• Mannerz (10/5): Overnight stop for Alton towers - Great location for Alton towers and surrounded by countryside. Would have definitely stayed longer if we needed to. Very clean with a nice, modern interior. The local pub is spot on what you would want and the food served was top tier for all 3 of us. And of course the hosts were very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely visit again Not being able to stay for at least a full day due to it being an overnight stop for us to go to Alton towers the following morning. No fault of the owners.

• Elizabeth (8/5): Lovely little cottage to stay for a night. - The cottage was well situation in town with a take away and grocery store right across the road. 15 minutes drive to Alton towers. The cottage also had everything we needed and was spotless. The host gave clear instructions on how to find the property and we could arrive whenever we wished. Block out curtains would be helpful for the summer months as it was very light, especially in the room with the sofa bed.

I can’t recommend it enough for visits to Alton Towers, exhibitors at Stafford or for holidays in that area. Nothing to dislike at all.
